This was a great case to work in and keep everything clean with plenty of options for many different types of storage and cooling. It's shorter, but wider and the psu fits behind the motherboard. It's different and makes cable management a breeze.It fits a D15 CPU Cooler with a couple centimeters to spare. If you plan on using case fans for top/back exhaust you may want to consider slim case fans. There's plenty of room for about 11 case fans and multiple placements for AIO coolers.It is heavy.

This is probably one of the best compact ATX cases out there. The 3 pre-installed fans are super quiet, there is plenty of room in the case for my 3060ti Founder's and an AIO. There is also ample space for all of your wires, the only thing I would be careful about is making sure your PSU will fit as the installation for it is not super flexible (you can see which PSU I have in here in the related products). Had this case for about a month now and I can definitely say I will be using it for as long as I can.

TLDR' - this is the 3rd or 4th time I've tried to write this review so who knows if it'll stay up; anyways, overall a decent case, not exactly mini(and certainly doesnt feel mini in terms of weight). Quality control and customer service could be a bit better though. I also like that it can work with a variety of motherboard form factors; unless you have some super exotic and rare motherboard its likely to fit in this case. Unfortunately, and maybe Im just super unlucky when it comes to Lian Li products but my unit came with a number of issues. Realistically speaking theyre not big enough of a deal to bother returning given the price point and given the main purpose I bought the case. That said, at the same time theyre so obvious that I still struggle to understand how they were missed during quality control. See the cons list for more detail. Lian Li does have a form you can fill out for any warranty related concerns so I decided what the heck, lets fill it out and see what they say. To their credit, the person that responded promptly replied and had parts sent out. However, it seems that this is more or less where the customer service ends. The person helping me was not clear about which parts they were willing to replace; after trying to get clarification as the persons responses made it sound like I would only be getting some of the requested replacement parts, the customer service rep just ... stopped responding. I dont think its worth pushing the issue at this point but still, its not a great look. I did end up receiving the replacement parts I was promised ... which unfortunately contained parts I did not request and is still missing the part that had the really obvious bit of damage, namely the front brushed aluminum piece. I now have 3 different side panels, 2 top panels and 2 front panels. In hindsight I probably could have been more clear in my initial request but the photos I sent were labeled, I did eventually clearly state what I was looking for while trying to confirm things and they did not ask for clarification. Anyways, it is what it is. Since this isn't going to be my main computer I'm just gonna let things go at this point but if the things I've described are the kinds of things that bother you then I would probably look elsewhere. It's going to take something really compelling for me to consider a Lian Li case again in the future.

Like other members of the O11 family, this case is a dream to build in and use. The overall performance from an airflow perspective is impressive and there is tons of room for all of the various accessories that one would want (space for full sized GPUs, 280mm radiators, hard drive cages — it has it all).The only noticeable downside and criticism I have is that it lacks any sort of front or side filter for dust. This isn’t a deal breaker, far from it. Instead it’s something to consider as a part of your search. For me the trade offs for building ease outweigh periodic dusting.
This case is great and versatile. Will look great no matter what size motherboard you use and it can fix an ATX PSU! Great room for airflow and looks great with the tempered glass to showoff your build. The one negative I have with the case is cable management when you use SSDs/HDDs. I'm sure this won't be a negative for many, but a lot of builds I see with this encourage putting your PSU cables in the spare hard drive bay, but I use that area for my 2 HDD's so it's a bit harder to cable manage. Also made it tougher than I use PSU extension cables, which really cramped a majority of PSU cables in the back. Also, I believe Lian Li envisioned this to be used with their unifans to simplify the cable management as well, as it was also a pain trying to connect 10 noctua ... MoreThis case is great and versatile. I got tired of my gigantic.Phanteks Enthoo Pro case, and wanted something smaller. This little guy fit the bill!!. Plenty of room with only one issue that not a huge deal breaker. That is the fan cables from the front mounted fans could beca little longer. Lucky I had some fan cable extenders so the cables would run across the inside of the case. I also should have don't mire home work on my Power Supply as it is a little long and I wasn't able to put a Hard Drive on the lower middle bracket. Anyways that isn't a big deal to me either. I do have a full Atx MB with a Corsair H105 cooler installed. It is a little tight fit, but it works. I you have a newer MB with the big heat sinks on it then you might need to get the radiator offset brackets from Lian Li. When looking for a case originally, I was disappointed to find that even some of the largest ATX cases only have two 3.5'' bays. Once I discovered that this case could fit up to four 3.5" HDDs (without installing fans or a radiator in the side mounting area) my decision was clear. Once I got the case in person, it was even better than I could have imagined. Not only did I fit all of my parts into the case, I was able to fit MORE. At the moment, I have a full ATX motherboard, a graphics card that is 323mm (12 ¾) long, a full size ATX PSU, a fan controller, an a-rgb hub, 3 120mm fans in the bottom (usually max 2 120mm or 2 140mm), 3 120mm in the top, 2 140mm up front, a 120mm exhaust in the rear, and I managed to fit a notoriously thick Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 in the side bay where the third and fourth 3.5" drive bays would have been (I would have put a 280mm unit in the front but it would have been touching my GPU). At this point, you may be wondering to yourself, "why would you take out the extra 3.5'' bays if that was the main reason you purchased the case?” Well. I’m glad you asked. Thanks to the CAD files being available online, I was able to design and 3d print a bracket to relocate my third 3.5" drive to the bridge in the middle of the case where the second 2.5" drive would have gone. I use primarily 3.5" drives, so I have no need for the extra 2.5" drive bay. In summary, this is the greatest case ever designed if you own a 3d printer. If I have any recommendations for improvement, I would say add like 2mm mm to the length of the case, add the light bar that is featured on the front of the 011d XL and the O11d evo, and sell it in silver or grey.

The worst is the bottom slots, with either the stock or other branded fans. It makes a humming or buzzing. My only regret is not picking a micro ATX board. With a full ATX, top mounting the AIO interfered with the RAM. So I moved it to the front. Top mounting 140 fans interfered with the Tomahawk VRM heatsink. So I put one 140 on top and one on the bottom. I have 3 120 fans on the way for the top. I would have used the Lian Li offset brackets but they weren't in stock. So with a micro ATX you won't have any of these fitment issues as you can change the configuration for 5 slots and move the board down out of the way of the top. Then you could top mount a 280 or 360 AIO, or front mount it. I didn't care ... MoreThis is a very cool and different case design and I'm really loving it. Quick one day build for the kid as I had an over abundance of parts (but no accompanying mood to water cool it). Ran down to pick up this case, decent price. Build took about an hour and a half. Well equipped case - decent cable routes and great airflow as the name suggests. I think it was one of few cases available at the time that had actual top venting. Good case with a ton of room for air applications. Most definitely room for medium rad surface builds. Perhaps I'll get it on water some day, but I simply don't see the need with a 3070ti FE and an 11th gen with a NH-D15.
