Best food processor for easy use - high quality

I did extensive research before deciding on this brand. I have arthritis. This more compact size is excellent but not too small. The XL - larger opening/for adding things when operating is a must. Does cake and bread as well as veggies and sauces. Can keep it on the bench. V high quality accessories in safety storage case and you can buy more. Long warranty. DJ’s provided excellent price and fast delivery.

Great food processor. So quiet. Love the three bowls that allows you to processor smaller amount satisfactorily. Never used slicing and grating blades in my other food processors due to poor results. This has changed with Magimix, quick with excellent results and minimal waste.Need to ensure the lid clicks into place properly when assembling or the bowl moves away from centre. Also found that plunger needs to be out of feed shoot when putting lid on. All this is to do with the very good triple lock safety feature.Extremely happy with my Magimix and would highly recommend it.

So pleased we decided to get this. Never had a processor before and can't believe how quickly it works. Sliced some potatoes in seconds - would have taken ages on the mandoline and risked my finger ends with every slice! Looking forward to making aioli and mayonnaise in it next.Did my research before buying and glad we didn't get one of the main competitors that were reviewed as flimsy and skittered over the work surface; Magimix feels heavy and sturdy.

Happily taking up space on my counter

I bought this baby as a Christmas present to myself, and have used it almost every day since. I have made dough, sauces, soup, chopped nuts etc etc. I love that it has different sized bowls and is super easy to clean. I find it reasonably quiet, and although it felt huge (in comparison to my previous processor) to start with, it’s actually perfect. I am however still trying to figure out how not to make the larger bowl dirty when using the smaller bowl, is this just a me problem?

I bought this on the insistence of my Mum who has one and loves it. She paid for it gifted. I admit that it was many, many months until I tackled it and unfortunately, the locking system is faulty and its never worked. Ive carefully followed the manual, watched guidance on YouTube, had 2 different Magimix owners over to help me. Nothing. Weve all concluded that the product is faulty. I have read online that this defect has occurred before with other customers. I emailed Amazon in January this year using their contact proforma page and Ive had no response. I FULLY admit that Ive been incredibly dismissive about such an expensive piece of kit, but Id do anything to get it working instead of sitting on my worktop gathering dust. I repeat Ive allowed a silly amount of time to pass by before tackling this, so Im not sure what options I have. Really grateful to Amazon if they get in touch.

Review of 3200XL Multifunctional Food Processor, Black
26 December 2022

It seems very flimsy and weak. The biggest issue is that the 2.6-litre bowl can only hold 500ml.The machine is incredibly loud and whines in use. You have to clean every bowl after use no matter if you are only using the smallest one as liquid/food spills everywhere. The bowls do not have any seals on them so there is no way to prevent this.If you put more than 500ml in the largest bowl (the 2.6-litre bowl) it will leak everywhere, out the sides and bottom. It's a hassle cleaning all the parts, especially trying to keep the motor unit clean. I wish I hadn't bought this as it's inferior to other products at half the price.

Robust but not the be-all and end-all

I bought this brand so I could be assured it would cope with snack balls made with dates. It fulfills this requirement, so I am happy. However, this processor is not a magic solution to every problem. The bowl is too small to make a large batch of smoothie. While it is easy enough to clean, it is annoying that, when using the small bowl, you have to have the large and medium bowls in place, and they end up getting dirty unnecessarily. There's way too many pieces to be washed up. The optional dicing attachment is of limited use as hard veges need to be partially cooked, plus cut into small pieces. By the time I do all that, I might as well dice by hand. I like the reasonably compact size of this processor, but all the accessories take up a lot of space. I would recommend this item but do your research and view demos so you get the processor that is right for you.

Everyday I'm inspired to make fresh food from scratch when I see my Magmix in my kitchen. The 3200XL Magmix is the perfect food processor for a couples. With the three bowl sizes you can make a small salad dressing for two in one bowl or use the larger bowl to make a larger meals when you have friends over. The unique motor design means it is very quiet and adapts to the food as it's being processed. You'll love using it to prepare cooking at home more often. There's a lot of parts to wash and although it says its dishwasher safe I'd prefer to hand wash the parts. It's great for two people but you may want to just go up to the next size if you really do cook at lot and for more people.

Sturdy attractive & useful

Needed a new food processor. Glad I went for the compact as it's still roomy and three bowls . Slight negative is that when on worktop ready to use, it is quite tall. Not a problem looks wise but trying to feed machine eg grating, a smaller person ( I'm 5.6 ) might be on tiptoes!Has good storage box with blades and graters/slicers.The black was cheaper than the silver but in my opinion looks more expensive.

Too many parts!
17 May 2023

I had my last Magimix for over 30 years and had to replace it as the blade broke and the replacement bowl was about to go as well so thought would get a new one after all these years.Even the compact one is quite big and all the bowls within bowls make it fiddly to use. The container for the different blades is also big and takes up a lot of room in my kitchen cabinet. I will have to get used to it in time but I loved my original one. I expected the newer model to be slick and smooth to use but sadly not the case.
