Manduka Pro Yoga Mat - Long & Wide Midnight

The size is what I wanted. It really helps by preventing the feeling of being 'pinched' for space on a mat esp laterally. It seemed a bit slippy to start with, but dust from the hall floor seems to have ameliorated that.I use it in the centre of the class, so I can adjust poses without having to flip a standard size mat around to demonstrate. It could be sold along with some sort of cover/carrying bag and cleaning material.

Best at home yoga mat!

This mat is pretty darn awesome...I LOVE IT! Yes it is big and kind of heavy, but it's honestly not too much weight where I can't roll it up and move it easily. Thrilled with this. Thank you very much!

Changed my practice

This mat changed my practice. I have so much space to explore now. Previously I had two black pro mats. I was always having to adjust the two as they shifted. I am so happy to love myself enough to offer this luxurious space. I wish the same for you.

Exactly what I was looking for

I have used this mat almost daily for a few weeks. I have mostly used the mat for vinyasa flows. The size of the mat is perfect, and I wanted a closed celled mat (I also have the GRP open cell Manduka mat which is excellent grip-wise). I purchased this particular mat so that I could have a much more spacious surface area for yoga flows that can take me off a standard sized yoga mat. I like the 6mm cushion and the mat is easy to clean with the mat refresh spray. I will say that I do find the mat slippery. My hands and feet tend to sweat and grip can be hard in in certain poses when I'm really sweating. With this mat, I have found, like others have mentioned, that a yoga towel has eliminated this slip issue. The mat is exactly what I was looking for as far as size and quality, and the yoga towel has eliminated the issue of slip. I also recognize that it can take time for the mat to become a bit less slippery, and I know Manduka as recommended gel as another tool to try if slip is a challenge. I hope this review helps! It is one of my favorite purchases.

Game changer!

I LOVE this mat! I have been practicing yoga for 20 years and I now have an issue with one leg. I have used the Manduka yoga mats for years and decided to try the larger mat which helps me not end up all over the floor! After adding it to my yoga room I purchased 2 more for our workout room for my husband and my workout spaces. Additionally, I am gifting one to my niece for Christmas! It’s so multi purpose it’s an amazing addition to my yoga and workout rooms!

Great mat for Hatha Yoga

The size of this mat is truly wonderful! The balance between flowing into postures and sticking to the mat is really a dream. I LOVE this mat. I can get behind the manufacturing process and long life-cycle, even though it uses synthetic materials as well.

Great product color find this color anywhere else. Slipped on time.

It's everything i've wanted and more.

Its everything i wanted and more. I love the comfort i feel in being able to navigate movement anywhere with the grip and support of the mat underneath me at all times. I don't know why i had waited so long to do this!

It’s big enough for two

It’s big enough for me and my daughter to do yoga together. I’m tall so I love the extra space! An investment in many wonderful yoga sessions.

The best mat I ever had

The best mat I ever had. I had both square mat and this, while I love both, the long and wide is more space efficient. It provides great support (I’m teaching annd practicing on tiles flooring), enough space to move freely and best shavasana to keep all my legs and arms away from the cold floor.
