This is the best silicone I have used much better than more expensive brands. It applies smoothly and is not as sticky as some others I've tried. I would definitely recommend.
In comparison with other sealants, Mapei is easier to apply and more mould resistant. But you have to pay for it. In the long run, well worth the extra expense because for some jobs, you just can't take short cuts.
Did the job. I use this regularly.
I'm very happy with this product which I haven't used before. It is excellent for sealing around the shower tray. 6 months or so will tell how good it is at repelling mould!
I bought this to replace some mouldy silicone. I’m not an expert so I was really pleased at how Mapesil spread and remained workable long enough for me to do a good job. The spec is goodSo I’m hoping that the mod won’t return. I’m very pleased with this purchase
Easy to work with this product and to achieve a neat finish. Also solvent free.
This sealant went on very easily - by far the best i have used so far. Used wipes and finger and both worked well - didn't even need the washing up liquid trick with this stuff
Best I've used, I always find using silicone tricky but this one for some reason was just easier. It's also a very bright white, nice clean and fresh. I used it on the sink and bathroom window, which made it look brand new. Good stuff.
Sealant was excellent, gave a lovely finish no fuss.
Good product, although it has a very strong odour, being solvent free we thought it wouldn’t smell as bad.
