As a regular diyer I have used many silicone sealants over the years with reasonable success in the finish but using this product was a bit problematic. Job was to reseal my wet room beige tiled shower base. If found the product a little runny on application, spreading it along the joint caused it to spread unevenly especially over a long run. It seemed to skin quite quickly so getting a consistant finish was almost impossible. The colour was quite dark at first but after 48hrs was a lighter shade probably more of a pale pink than beige in my opinion. Adhesion seemed very good as it took quite a while to remove it from areas of overspread but it cleaned up ok. My advice would be to check the product colour carefully from those availabe before purchase, especially ... MoreAs a regular diyer I have used many silicone sealants over the years with reasonable success in the finish but using this product was a bit problematic. Great product and good colour match for the flooring and vertical cabinet side panels in the kitchen to waterproof the cut edges. Easy to apply and tool, using the Cramer Fuji kit and a pack of trade wipes. Only just completed, so can't attest for reliability or performance yet. But other reviews gave me confidence.

Ordered “Ivory” but it is “jasmine” on the tube. I’d ordered “ivory” as it matched the grout colour I’d used and was a little concerned I’d been given the wrong product. Although having looked it up I believe “jasmine” is the matching silicone for the ivory grout…if not it seems a good match having used it!

Used solvent version for years. This stuff is markedly inferior. Did a side by side test with solvent version and there is a significant difference in ease of application and finishing. The solvent version grabs and "stays" in a bead far more effectively and so also eases clean lines. It follows that this stuff will not survive cleaning for as long. Not recommended - use the solvent version.
Silicon. It’s such awful stuff to work with. I thought I’d spend more on a decent brand. But this stuff is no better. It bubbled up and I had to start again. Ugh. How can it be 2023 and no one has made an alternative that doesn’t just stick to everything?
Doesn't work well when doing long lines of beading. No matter how tight you screw the nozzle on, it slowly undoes as you squeeze. Useless when you're doing long lines that can't be stopped to re-tighten.Everyone hates this job as it is. Really don't want to make it harder with huge silicone bursts three times with the same tube.
Bought this to match up with our grout so we can seal around floor edge and shower and touch up a few areas of grout that weren't finished well. Despite a few reviews saying the colour wasn't good I found it to be a god match in fact I was surprised how good the match was. It was easy to work.. Still a bit smelly as all this type of stuff is but it cleaned up well and looks good. Think it's a bitb pricey so that lost it a star.. Few quid cheaper would be better but it's a good product and would buy it again if need be.
I bought this exact product in December 2022 (55535) to which I used my confirmation email since then to buy it again today and its a completely different colour. Not shade, COLOUR. It was a light grey before but is now buff? Had to reseal my bath but now have two different coloured sealants in my bathroom.
I am writing this review 3 years after I applied the silicon on our bathroom. I used it to replace the existing one on our shower where the shower tub meets the tiles.I used Screwfix's "no Nonsense Smoothing Tools Straight Joints" to smooth it and no other tool. I did not touch it or attempted to smooth it with soapy water like some YouTube tutorials suggest, just smoothed it with the tool and let it dry for 2 days.3 years after I applied it, the silicone is still in place, no cracks, it has not lost its elasticity, it has not come off of the tiles or the shower tub , the edges have no wear, there is absolutely no sign of mould and because of the smoothing tool there are no tiny holes. This is an area that is getting wet every day for the last 3 years.I think ... MoreI am writing this review 3 years after I applied the silicon on our bathroom. I only chose this product as I needed a grey sealant. I normally use Evo-stick products. Without doubt this is the worst sealant I have ever used. Too viscous so it doesn’t’t stay put and sags, but at the same time sticks to everything (especially stuff that you don’t want it to, such as the grain on tiles) and impossible to get a smooth finish. Water and washing up liquid trick does not work for smoothing/finishing this product. No bead/gauge marks on nozzle and nozzle does not cut cleanly even with brand new Stanley blade. I will never use this product again. Sticking to evo-stick silicone sealants in future.
