I buy three of your products in this general category. My wife buys three products in this general category. The only overlap is the Dark Chocolate Cherry bars. But in our semi-rural town of Granbury in North Central Texas, Brookshire's, Walmart and HEB do not carry these bars even though they carry many other bars you make and I can find the other two bars I like and my wife can find the other two bars she likes, though sometimes not necessarily at the same store. But why do none of them stock the Dark Chocolate Cherry bars is beyond me because in my experience, those who have tasted one of these bars always want another one. Changed recipe Oct-2023, less Frui&N more glycerin

I am very disappointed with the recipe changes made to the Fruit & Nut Trail Mix bars. My bar of choice, I buy one or even two boxes of 48 count pouches at my local BJ's Wholesale store a month. Now, since the recent changes to the recipe this go to bar has become a getaway from me bar! They are awful now. Tasteless. Fruitless. You have increased sugar over fruit, increased rice flour and vegetable glycerin over cranberries. The fruit is tiny pieces now. I am so disappointed and only wish I had known ahead of time that the product was changing I would have stocked up on the old supply before it was gone. Now, it is an awful choice for me, not because of gluten, but because of lack of what it says on the label, Fruit & Nut, since you changed the recipe, it should now be called Rice Flour, Vegetable Glycerin with pieces of nuts, some raisins and maybe slivers of cranberry bar! It's no longer a Trail Mix bar but a Tasteless Less Fruit & Less Nut Bar! It is awful what you did to a good product! Who told you this was a good idea to change the product? Did taste testers say it was a good change? Probably not them, but management who doesn't care about customer satisfaction, but bottom line, dollars. Seriously, I am over buying your product and will now be making my own Fruit & Nut Bars. So very, very disappointed with what you did to us, your customers.

I remember when

I remember when these used to be actually made of fruit and nut. Now it's mostly that weird puffy, sticky filler of some sort, and a few pieces of fruit and a couple nuts embedded in the filler stuff. I get that you have to cut costs for the company, but they're just not good anymore so I never buy them anymore. They used to be great! Same with the Sweet & Salty ones too. Just mostly made up of that weird puffy, sticky filler junk. Sad.

More sugar than advertised

I have been eating these for years. I ran out one day and was going to buy a generic bar just to get me by. When I compared sugar, I decided to just wait till I can get these because it was lower in sugar than the generic. Now I find out the bar actually has more sugar than advertised! Also all of a sudden the whole almonds that were the delight of the bar are now just slivers. The consistency of the bar is just so flimsy now and not even a thicker consistency as before. I am disappointed that this recipe seems to be changed.

Nature Valley Trail Mix Review

I love Nature Valley coconut dark chocolate trail mix. It is delicious. It's very filling, easy nutritious, and a healthy alternative to chocolate bars. It's a pretty good price. It's easy just to throw in my purse when I am going out for an extended period of time. Then I won't be tempted to buy junk food if I get hungry.

New Fruit & Nut Trail Mix Bar Review

As of July 2023 a reformulated version of Nature Valley's Fruit & Nut Trail Mix bar landed with a disgraceful thud on the shelves of local markets. For more than fifteen years I have savored the previous incarnation and kept a ready supply of them in my pantry. They were my go-to healthy dessert or snack. I can't believe a taste-test focus group could have preferred less nuts, less fruit, more sweetener and muted flavor of the new concoction. The new, less-palatable version of the bar is clad in purple as a warning label. Caveat Emptor.

REAL FRUIT FROM RAISINS AND CRABERRIES

I purchased the nature valley chewy nut and fruit bar several times. I now want to enjoy General Mills to add more fruit.Fruit is only listing cranberries and raisins. More fruit should be listed to ingredients for the two listed. Why not two more fruits with more vitamin c and flavor.For the money you must've been searching for another fruit. More fruit is needed for Real Fruit. Hydrated apples and oranges, strawberries, etc. REAL FRUIT.

These were a 5 until they changed

I used to buy these all the time for my family. I would snack on these 2-3 times a day. They were a fruit and nut bar until the recipe changed earlier this summer. Now they are granola bars with tidbits of fruit and nut. I immediately noticed the difference because the flavor clearly changed to a mostly oats. So disappointed. Just another corporation putting profits before quality and the consumer. I will NOT be buying these going forward. Also, the name on the bar is now misleading and needs to be changed to properly represent what you're actually getting...granola/oat bar.
