Unfortunately the tent developed a large hole on the bottom after 10 uses. I used a footprint and before setting the tent up I always looked over the ground and removed any sticks, rocks, ect. Regardless, I still got a large hole on the bottom of the tent! For such a pricey tent, I am very disappointed, and frankly angry, that it damages so easily. I don’t feel like I can rely on this tent in the backcountry and ultimately, I feel like it was a big waste of money. Nemo sent me some patches free of charge instead. I am glad they did, but it doesn’t address the fact that the tent is not durable enough to be used for what it was designed for.

Got soaked, parts lost, no help.

This is at best a 2 season tent. I am a former guide and have used many different tents by most major companies. I love how light this tent is. I love the way it packs and I have used other Nemo products that I really enjoy and use on every trip. Having to buy a footprint separately was kind of bullshish considering how thin the floor is. Clips for the footprint fell off the first time I used it. Absolutely poor product design. Nemo website is filled with complaints, I found out after the fact. I reached out to Nemo, and after about a month and a bunch of emails, all they have told me is that if I would like replacement I will have to pay for them....cool, whatever, just send them so I can get on with my backpacking. I used to have a Kelty that was one quarter the price and 10x the tent. I feel bad for anyone who pays full price for this. Sorry Nemo. I love almost all of your products. This one is terrible. It left me, my wife, and my dog cold and wet.

I bought this not for backpacking but for quick and easy camping. I have only used it once so far, and it was in fair weather. The size is great for two people, with space in between for gear. It is an easy setup, and the vestibules are a good size. I have seen other reviews question the plastic connections for the poles, but I think as long as you are not rough with them they will hold up to normal use. The stakes are focused on minimal weight rather than strength. This is understandable given the intended use of this tent, but nonetheless the majority of the stakes bent on first use. The tent material is super thin and light, which can make it difficult to spread out in windy conditions. It is also quite slippery on itself, and I have had trouble rolling it back ... MoreI bought this not for backpacking but for quick and easy camping. I have only had the chance to use my Dagger OSMO 3P 4 nights in temps ranging from 80 degrees F (that was the low!) to 40 degrees F. The hot night I was in my tent I had the fly on because there was a few rain squalls that rolled through our Scouts BSA Camporee. No big deal. I was nice and dry inside the tend except for the puddle of sweat I was sleeping in. I had the tent as vented as much as I could given the chance of rain and my PNW blood doesn't do well in the hot temperatures. On the few cooler nights I had the fly fully steaked out (again PNW). The tent kept the rain out but the two fly vents weren't enough to keep the condensation away. The inside of my fly was damp to say the least. I struggle every time to roll it up tight enough to get it into the bag and there is no way you can fit the footprint in with the tent.I know weight is important when selling a tent but an ounce of fabric to make a slightly larger bag would be nice. I'm looking for a replacement bag now so I can pack it a little easier and it's not so compressed in the off season. Anyone know where I can find the tent bag MSR uses for the Hubba Hubba?

Finally got to use the tent on the six foot track, blue mountains.Going from an ultra lightweight 1 man (terra nova laser) to something more spacious to fit in my other half and we were both extremely pleased. The tent has a superb design, fool proof and speedy to set up. Very sturdy once assembled, especially for how lightweight. In fact, it feels not too dissimilar to a spaceship! Most importantly, the increase in space was just ridiculous. Like moving into a barn after living in an old bath tub. Much appreciated. Generous sleeping space and ample bag storage. Great tent! Concern over Jake's Foot attachments
13 December 2022

The good first. I love this tent. I have taken it backpacking and kayaking several times with no issues. In the rain I stay dry, in the cold I stay warm. The ventilation is awesome for those warmer nights. Setup is easy with their color coded system. The only reason I have to give it a 4 star review is because I would like a 2nd landing zone. I love the landing zone as an option to put items outside but keeping them off the ground. It would be nice to have a second one for the other door. Also, it would be nice to have the option to buy one in the event someone loses their landing zone or it is destroyed. The Jake's Foot attachment points are my only major concern. Not durable, condensation problem

This tent is not durable. I bought it as l was going on an extended camping and hiking to New Zealand and thought I could trust this brand as l have the original dagger model. I assumed if l bought this brand new it would last the trip. Unfortunately it failed within the first month. It began ripping at the seems by the top of the door. I had to patch and continue to use as camping gear in NZ is very expensive and Altitude sports would do nothing for me until l returned to Canada. Within two months the zipper on the rain fly failed. Roomy and WET!
13 October 2022

Two adults and medium size dog used this for a 160 mile trip in October with low temps in the high 20s.Set up is easy, staking is mandatory, vestibule size is adequate, the attachment points for the fly and foot print are easily corrupted by dirt, fine gravel and can be difficult/inconvenient to tear down with cold fingers or when the tent/fly is wet (usually).Design is very roomy with nice vertical walls. Our main concern was condensation. Unless it was very windy we could expect to spend an hour everyday drying the tent, fly and sleeping bags before hitting the trail. If we didn't stake the tent out perfectly it would have contact with the fly and cause even more dripping.Fly zipper broke at bottom after 6 days.Bottom line for us is it's a nice light warm ... MoreTwo adults and medium size dog used this for a 160 mile trip in October with low temps in the high 20s.Set up is easy, staking is mandatory, vestibule size is adequate, the attachment points for the fly and foot print are easily corrupted by dirt, fine gravel and can be difficult/inconvenient to tear down with cold fingers or when the tent/fly is wet (usually).Design is very roomy with nice vertical walls. Our main concern was condensation. Very nice tent
26 January 2023

Took it out for the first time this past weekend with moderately cold (-8 to 0 degrees) and snowy weather. It held up very nicely in the wind and it shed the snow easily. The interior pockets and attachments to hang lanterns, etc. were very handy. The clip-on gear tray inside the fly was especially helpful for keeping things I needed often easy to reach and off the snowy ground. It’s roomy enough for two, even with bulkier winter gear, but three people would be tight and unlikely to accommodate separate sleeping pads. The only thing that wasn’t ideal was entering the tent required essentially crawling in due to how the fly was oriented when pegged out properly. It would be difficult to even unzip the tent without getting down to the ground. Overall, I’m really pleased with my new tent.

Worked in severe thunderstorm

I bought this tent for backpacking with my wife and on our very first trip it was put to the test. The two person version is definitively big enough for you and someone you’re close to and you have enough room to sleep without touching but just a few inches between each other and I had a few inches at the end of the tent. For context I’m 5’11 195 pounds and my wife is 5’5 150 pounds. We set up and staked out the tent fully without using any guy lines and the very first night were caught in a severe thunderstorm. There was intense rain, lightning, and 20-30 mile winds for several hours before it died down and the tent didn’t even flinch. It handled the weather with ease, no leaking whatsoever, and we had good ventilation as well with no condensation. It dropped from the 80s to the 40s at night. That night is when I realized how important it is to have gear you can depend on and as of now I have complete faith in my Nemo Dagger Osmo. Keep in mind my tent wasn’t even using guy lines either. I did use MSR ground hog stakes so I can’t speak on the stakes that come with the tent and I had the dagger groundsheet as well. Once you attach it to the bottom of the tent you can just leave it attached when you tear it down so you don’t have to worry about it ever again. The vestibules on either side were roomy enough for my gear and my wife’s and it kept everything dry. The pockets inside are convenient and the nightlight pocket for your headlamp actually works and isn’t a gimmick. The tent is easy to carry between two people but probably a little much by yourself. I would still personally use this for solo backpacking but think others would find it heavy.
