I used to be extremely oily, but only near the ends of my cheeks was my face dry, which wasn't often. I started experimenting with cleansers, moisturizers, and serums later in life when I was an adult. Around 20, I'd say. Maybe give a few years. I'm 27, now. I no longer have the problems I used to have I attribute it to my efficient but also effective skincare routine when it comes to products not tools. I can't speak to anyone but myself, so I just need you to know I do still get greasy, I wish I could tell you it was a miracle in a bottle - but alas, I haven't found that one yet. I do have to say after it being over 3/4 years of using Neutrogena's hyaluronic acid products, with the hyaluronic acid tincture from the ordinary that's only under $9, my skin has actually been doing great. And rarely does it pour from my forehead or upper lip anymore. Rarely do I have to deal with blemishes if one comes in I've learned to slap a peach slices pimple patch on it then watch it disappear by the next day. Then I go back to my (product(s) routine of; This cleanser with a Revlon vibrating face scrubber that isn't too abrasive (has lasted me forever), then I get a tiny fan or put my face in front of my room fan, dry it that way after patting it, putting on one pump of hyaluronic acid serum, letting that dry, then when nearly dry, taking a bit of the Neutrogena hydro boost water cream. And that's it. That's the quick version. I'm currently using a lotion based water cream in a jar instead of the standard gel, which was some getting used to but a bit still goes a long way. Also, they sell refills that'll fill your bottle twice more when you run out so you don't have to keep tossing your bottles which I have think is so cool.

Awesome results that are quick

I really love this lightweight facial cleanser. I have combo skin more on the oily side and this stuff is kicking butt. I have used for a week now and you only need a small time size drops it goes a long way. I like the effectiveness. After two days of using before bed I could tell I was having reduced oiliness and reduced redness from post acne scars. I am hoping it will continue to be effective and can’t wait to see what it allows my face to look and feel like after longer use maybe about a month from now. I use this sometimes two times daily when I wake up and before bed but on other days when I didn’t have makeup on I just use before bedtime to prevent drying out. Godsend for dry skin!

I have dry skin that looks really nice in the summer due to the humidity, but lately my nose and T-zone have been super dry and flaky and nothing I tried seemed to help. I was using a foaming face wash that was marketed as gentle and calming for sensitive skin, but it felt drying and stripping and wasn't working for me. When the Hydro Boost cleanser came in the mail, I was excited to test it. The first thing I noticed is that it emulsifies and lathers up really well. It rinsed off fairly easily but does leave a smooth sort of film behind, so be mindful of that. (I double cleanse anyway, so no big deal.) I’m so happy for this product. Gel cleansers are designed for people with oily combo skin so they have been a rare find up until the last decade or so. This one has combined the hydration factor in with make up removal making it a winner. I’ve used it 4 days in a row now and my skin looks and feels great; clean with no breakouts. Normally to get quality gel cleansers I lean more towards luxury cosmetics because they were some of the first to launch the products so this cleanser coupled with the hydrating aspects and being in a lower price bracket will be what I stick with for future purchases.I will say that with pump bottles like these you do need an area that is out of the water for storage and I mean even out of the splash zone. I have dry combination skin, and this did dry me out a bit, so not hydrating for me. I used some thermal water spray after and still had some dryness. If you have normal or oily skin, this might be just your jam. The formula was gentle on my sensitive skin and didn't irritate. I could see it would help with acne care. The cleanser worked great on a makeup-free face to cleanse and for taking makeup off as well.
