Really good for performance for it’s size. 3 different brightness level where the 3rd is already brighter than most lights out there. Not to mentioned it has a turbo mode which produces 700 lumens of light bright enough to blind anyone. And for obvious reason, the range is not very far cause it’s a flood light and tiny. Works well as a back up as it doesn’t takes too much space. Charging is via USB-C which is a huge plus! Charging port is exposed but still waterproof. Highly recommended product.

This is my 3rd purchase of the same torchlight. I misplaced two of them due to my carelessness. Good quality product. Very bright, long lasting after full charge. Very practical to bring around. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST have torchlight.

I use a flashlight constantly for work, got tired of carrying spare batteries and changing them. Having the light have little inconsistencies and glitches. Now I don’t have to worry about it l, I always recharge my items and this light works flawlessly and provides better light than I even actually need. Great job Nitecore

The new TIP SE is a great improvement on the TIP. The output mode choices and beam shape are well-designed, except for the highest level (see below). The large battery provides good runtimes for a light this size. The quality materials and construction are excellent. I especially appreciate the absence of a magnet in this light - as I cannot carry lights that might demagnetize the key cards and ID cards I have to carry daily. The only improvements I can think of would be: 1) a metal pocket clip; and 2) I'd prefer a lower output level and longer runtime at the highest level. However, the TIP SE is not really lacking in any way. The TIP SE is the best true key chain light I've found. I like it enough to keep it in a pouch - never on my key chain, where it would ... Not the brightest keychain light, and not the smallest, but really a great EDC keychain light with included key rings and removable clip. For me the best balance of size, function and price. Clip covers the USB C port for fair protection from pocket lint and small debris. May wind up giving as gifts. In that case would probably add USB charging adapter/cord if I know the recipient doesn't already have them.
So many small flashlights either aren't bright enough or have overly complex button combinations to use. This is very simple to use and is very bright. Having USB C for charging is more convenient, eventually I will only need one cable type. The negatives, for me, are that this regularly turns on in my pocket. I don't know if it's just me, or if everyone would have this issue, but it happens to me all the time. Daily at least, and sometimes multiple times a day. I usually don't notice it until it's warm in my pocket. Aside from the minor annoyance, it also means I'm killing the battery for no reason. I don't know if it's because it's on a keychain with other things on it, or if I'm pressing the button by brushing up against things. Without a lock or a button guard, ... Without a lock or a button guard, it doesn't work well for my original intentions.I still like it, and I'm keeping it around the house, but I can't keep it as my EDC in my pocket.
Light is amazing. Very small and easy to use. Doesn't seem to turn on easily accidentally in my pocket. There is just one issue and it's a big one if you want to use this for EDC. The pocket clip is garbage for two reasons. 1. The light sits too high in the pocket to the point it can easily fall out. 2. The clip falls off the light too easily. I haven't figured out the best way to carry this yet because of the bad clip.
So I bought the older (single LED) style way back for myself and a BUNCH of friends as gifts. They loved them and a few still use them today (me too.) So when I saw this with TWO LEDs I was excited to try it out! I bought 2 to try out. Long and short of it, I like the old style better. I will use these but prefer the old style. 1st, The beam pattern on the new one is much narrower when held side by side. The narrow beam lends itself to distance which this type of key chain light isn't designed for. 2nd, The new model gets crazy hot when on turbo for not a ton more light. 3rd, The other modes appear to be about the same light output as the old style model. So running it on the level below Turbo is the same as old style with better battery usage in the old one. Only ... Only reason to get the new style is just for brief (30secs) of turbo light in a narrower pattern...meh. If I want to see distance I'm using the other light I bought from you guys awhile back. That thing rocks!
I have wayyyy too many Nitecore flashlights, about 5 headbands, 3 tactical, a power bank, and 2 keychain lights,In addition to this I have one of the limited version keychain lights, and this one is brighter. It doesn't have a screen like the other, but this just seems more effective and the rubber buttons are very easy to use.It just seems like this 'feels' right in my hands and I use it 2x day walking our dog and has been bright enough for all situations. It's small enough to put in my pocket with plenty of room, but not too small to fit in my hands to make it easy to use.I'm not a big fan of the 'lockout' settings since I accidentally locked myself out and had to read the manual to get it unlocked. This only happened once out of hundreds of times I've used it ... I bought this light because my other one finally failed for good. This one is very bight, even more so than the old one.My only negative in this appraisal is that the charging cord which fit the old one does not work in the new one.But I am very pleased with it and will continue to use your fine products.Thank you for your good work.
