This is the first Nivea sheet mask that I have tried. It comes with a protective film which I do not think is necessary as the mask is quite sturdy. I had to adjust the mask after taking it off anyway. The essence itself feels like a typical sheet mask essence and is mostly absorbed afterwards. This sheet mask has a really strong fragrance. It’s not a floral or fruity smell either, it smells like strong perfume which I did not find relaxing. Overall, I did not enjoy using this mask, the scent is too overwhelming.

I really had to put this mask through its paces before giving an honest review. I have to admit, i was not a fan after the first use, it took me a couple of tries before finding what worked best for my skin. I applied the mask after removing my makeup and doing the usual cleansing and toning and left it for 10 minutes, as directed. I found it hard to get out of the packet. It was like 2 layers of tissue paper stuck together. I found it was a poor fit for my face. My eyes, nose and mouth were either in the wrong place or the mask was not cut right. Too small eye holes and my nose didn't get much air either. It also covered part of my mouth, so it was no very comfortable to wear. I felt a slight burning sensation when wearing it. Upon removal, my skin was slightly softer but not much. I don't feel it really did anything good for my skin and I was concerned by the burning feeling.
I applied the Nivea Q10 Power Sleeping Melt-In Mask to the face, neck and décolleté area as instructed. I was a little concerned about the bedding but there was no need as the cream absorbed very quick and left no marks on the pillows at all. The product has a subtle fragrance and the cream itself has a good consistency and does not feel heavy. Upon application the cream absorbed into the skin great, I suffer from dry skin so I think this is why it absorbed so quickly. After massaging in the cream, my skin felt fresh and clean, plus it did not leave a greasy residue. It wasn't used consecutively though, it was used on the first and third night. The décolleté and neck's appearance felt smoother and looked firmer after the first application. The mask was easy to apply and the backing came off with little effort. Initially, it felt refreshing on the skin but the serum was thin, verging on watery. After 10 mins, removed the mask and worked the remaining serum into the skin. Skin felt polished. Unfortunately, a few hours later I noticed patches of irritation appearing on my forehead. These patches were itchy remained for several hours and I had to use a calming serum to reduce the irritation. My skin is normal and rarely reacts to skincare products.
I was previously using a very expensive premium beauty range which I felt wasn't making a lot of difference to my combination and dehydrated skin. The nivea range was on offer on store so I thought I'd try it. I'm so pleased I did. This mask literally transformed my skin overnight!! Soft, plumper and radiant!!! It's my go to favourite skin care hero now. Amazing results at a fraction of the price. I now use the whole range I've had so many compliments since using them.

Loved the fragrance and feel of this product. Quite a rich product. Less is definitely more. I found myself using too much initially. On the morning my face felt a little oily, I do have a combination skin, however once I’d completed my morning cleansing routine it felt lovely, even after one use my skin felt softer. I would definitely recommend this product, only need to use a few times a week definitely a great addition to your night time routine.
