I adore this product so much! My go-to lip product is a light but creamy blend with excellent pigmentation. I have backup tubes and carry one in every purse. Tiramisu is my go-to color, although I also like Praline and Creme Brule. These colours feel incredibly at ease on your lips because they are neutral and organic. It initially has a slightly tacky feeling, but it goes away as it dries on your lips. Because they give off the "your lips but better" vibe, these buttergloss enhance the color of your lips and have excellent staying power. They may transfer slightly, but I'm always pleasantly surprised by their staying power.

Awesome Gloss, Warehouse Quality Control is the Issue

Butter gloss is my go-to; I’ve used it daily for years now, and I love the feel of it. It’s the *perfect* gloss! I ordered the clear version for my daughter’s Easter basket, but it just arrived with the seal broken. It’s obvious that someone opened it, which is super disappointing considering that it came straight from a warehouse. (This is something you normally see in the store because some customers think they’re entitled to open the sealed makeup right there in the aisle, but from a warehouse with only Target employees?) I’m returning it, and I’m bummed because my local stores do not carry the clear version. Just wanted to write this review for others who order this to be shipped; it may not arrived sealed.

This lip gloss is awesome and I’m delighted with its colour and high quality. It makes your lips feel smooth and juicy. The product has a really nice fragrance and goes on like a dream. This really does give a lovely plump look, and it’s really nourishing too.It is exceptionally easy to apply due to the shape of the applicator, and the design of the bottle means you just end up with a perfect amount of gloss on the end of the applicator. Love that it is not sticky at all. Overall, I absolutely thrilled with this lip gloss. The gloss is beautiful alone and it also looks amazing paired with a nice shade of lipstick or lip liner

This such a beautiful formula with it being so intensely hydrating with no stickiness which makes it so comfortable to wear. It is really pigmented but not quite opaque and it is buildable so you could get either a sheer or opaque appearance. Considering it is a gloss it is really long lasting and I find I only really need to top up if I drink or eat. This lipgloss is the best I’ve ever tried with such a stunning shade range. It looks great on its own but it’s perfect in combination with a lip liner to create a stunning ombré effect as it’s easily blendable. I’m beyond upset about this. I needed to buy a new tube of my favorite Butter Gloss ever in the shade “Tiramisu”. Sad thing is I thought I was going crazy or bought a bunch of duds because I bought at least two new tubes from different stores and discovered that Tiramisu now looks like a lighter version of Angel Food Cake. What the heck?! Not only that but I contact NYX directly with my disappointment and I get two emails back with one saying “We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may have caused you. With each season NYX Cosmetics introduces new shades in order to keep up with fashion trends. Consequently, less popular shades must be phased out.
