Optimum Nutrition Creatine Powder, Unflavored, 300g

My husband and I don’t like this. My creatine was low on bloodwork, so I was actually excited to try this, but it seems too synthetic. It feels like you’re drinking very sweet plastic water (we added it to only water to taste test the product alone). Although it’s very sweet, there is no sugar count on the nutritional label. If sucralose is a sugar substitute and doesn’t create any added sugars, 0mg of added sugars should at least be added to the label. Sucralose should also come with a warning as some people have sucralose intolerance. It feels like there are too many unnatural things in this product. All the protein drinks and other nutritional drinks out there are just too sugary or contain sugar alcohols that wreak havoc on digestive systems. My son has been wanting to try a creatine powder and was happy to receive this to try out. He really likes the taste and flavor of the blueberry lemonade. It seems to be working and doesn't cause him any kind of upset stomach or irritation. This comes at a great value and very affordable compared to other creatine powders on the market. This helps build strong muscle. Overtime and with exercise my son has seen results with strength and power. Better performance and Recovery. I highly recommend this especially if you or someone you know is trying to build muscle mass.

I am excited to try this product because I feel like this product could help me off the plateau that I feel like I’ve been stuck on for a while now with my fitness progress. I have purchased the large 186 serving tub twice and track workout results an supplementation, I cycle on an off firstly the product has worked well for me, fortysomething male. I notice improvement in strength, tone and stamina in my gym weights workouts when i take this product, bodyweight also goes up (water). Improved mental ability as well. It dissolves ok, sometimes it takes while to dissolve. Sometimes gives slight stomach discomfort. Flavourless. Overall is a good supplement. Slightly better than some other makes I have tried. Price has been volatile after covid, used to be cheap then very expensive now somewhere in the middle.

It's also advertised as unflavored and can be mixed with your favorite beverage with ease, micronized for easy mixing, but I didn't find that to be true in my experience. I had quite a bit if trouble getting it to mix well. It didnt seem to matter what I added it to. Blending it in a ninja blender helped a bit but I shouldn't have to go to that extent. I did find it to be effective at increasing my energy and performance and that it was unflavored as stated but the cost is too high for this product. I found it for $10 cheaper in store at Walmart and on Amazon, but Walmart charges $10 more when purchased online. Quality seems pure. I haven’t established a workout plan as of yet to monitor effectiveness however I’m in terrible shape so I wanted to load my system first before any strenuous training. It’s recommended to take 5 grams per day everyday. I do feel a difference in strength with what little training I do at the moment such as triceps, biceps & light kettle bell 35lbs. I’ll stick with this for 6 months before considering if this will be my goto Creatine. It doesn’t absorb very well in any beverage even when blended so I finally decided to take it by loading my mouth with it directly from an old scooper I have and immediately drink beverage to desolve and swallow.
