You are supposed to lay it flat, put it together and check level, then tighten. Problem is that the level of the extensions relative to the table top is governed by the position of eight screw holes in the table body, two each side and four along the common side. You could possibly drill the extension holes further to give you some wriggle room. The table top itself isn't smooth. It appears to have grind marks on it, and sharp edges. I'll be sanding them smooth. All up, a lot of work on a cheap table. Hopefully it may work.

Honestly I bought this for the various components it is comprised of to utilise in other applications.Good bang for buck if you think about itTop and fence with vac port to drill pressFeatherboards for my (other) benchtop routerSaftey switch for panel cutting stationMight use the legs for a coffee tableAs its own thing, probably not actually as bad as a lot of the other reviews make out, if you've got a bit of paitence assembling it.

Extremely good for the price, works well.

Easy setup, sturdy and well made for the price. The extensions could do with some kind of adjustment so the the working area is level across the whole surface but workable none the less.I repositioned the power box to get better access to my router and I find it works better that way. All in all, I think its rather good and works just as good as as other router tables I have used in the past. Ideal for DIY but not for on the job type situations ie: building sites etc.

Extremely poorly made
19 March 2023

Saw in store, expected little, but for the price decided I could adapt.Wasted time and money. As others said, table not flat.Groove for sliding mitre fence poorly machined.Small, short mitre guide is very sloppy.Extension tables not worth attaching.Feather boards are about only useful pieces on it apart from nuts and bolts.Just a complete waste of our resources.Don't buy it is my suggestion

Great starting table
21 May 2022

Good little table. I had to make a few adjustments of my own. But all in all good work table. My older style makita router didn't fit in the base plate. lost 10mm on depth. Might have to invest in a newer router to make the hight right

Kind of get what you pay for

It was cheap enough for a suck and see purchase and once you have spent some considerable time squaring it up and aligning everything it actually performs not too badly but is limited out of the box.For a start – throw away the pressed steel extensions as they hang off it, twist, and generally don’t provide a solid useable surface. Much better to build this into a bench with flat mdf either side of the main table. Onto the next issue – the main table is made from aluminium I am guessing. However, the mould or press they make it from isn’t brilliant so it wasn’t flat across its length and width. Find a big square, a belt sander and 80 grit sandpaper and start grinding it flat..Once that was done I went to install the router – LoL. However, the mould or press they make it from isn’t brilliant so it wasn’t flat across its length and width. Find a big square, a belt sander and 80 grit sandpaper and start grinding it flat..Once that was done I went to install the router – LoL. Basically it’s 4 clips at each corner which you mangle onto the router frame and bend them / tighten the screws up. This will take several goes to get some purchase on the router. Don’t expect any mounting plates with various holes as there are none.Given the clamping system the router is lower than ideal so you can’t fully use he height of all your bits – even when extended they still don’t come out above the table top fully – this is more evident on the ¼” or 6.4mm bits. Probably not so much of an issue if you are using ½” bits which are generally longer.Height adjustment isn’t easy as it’s not through the table surface so lots of fiddling with the router itself ( I removed the springs from the plunge base to make this easier ) before locking it back into place and checking the cutter height. So for $100 and an odd job it works but if you plan on using a router table as a regular part of your woodworking I would suggest looking for some alternatives. The sky is the limit as are the dollars however.

Not my favourite piece of equipment
1 August 2021

I've had this for about 2 years and only use it sparingly as it's quite fiddly to setup and also to make adjustments to the router etc while working...a) there is not enough clearance underneath for a router (even Ozito models) if used over a solid bench. It's been suggested elsewhere that it's probably designed for laminate trimmers, but that's probably not the intended use for a router table. b) really difficult to change bits from the front, make height adjustments to the router etc. c) clamping system is fiddly to setup although does hold the router (older Ozito model) ok. d) Front featherboard can't be removed - necessary for larger pieces - without underdoing two of the clamps underneath (bolts for the featherboard are immediately above the clamps). e) ... MoreI've had this for about 2 years and only use it sparingly as it's quite fiddly to setup and also to make adjustments to the router etc while working...a) there is not enough clearance underneath for a router (even Ozito models) if used over a solid bench. Piece of Junk
14 September 2021

I saw the poor reviews knowing my router wouldn't fit under it. I wanted a folding table which I couldn't find anywhere anyway so I bought this.-One of the mounting holes for the fence wasn't drilled out by the factory-Once I drilled it out the bolts to mount the fence didn't even reach through the table.-the side 'flaps' don't align to the table top.-the switch position makes it impossible to reach your router.-the mounts for the router are so loose they scare me.I haven't even used it yet. so I'm sure there will be more flaws to come. And a ton of mods by me who isn't a DIYer like this is marketed to.This thing is a piece of junk unless you want to spend hours modifying it like I did, so don't buy it if you think you can just plug and play.

Pointless sorry
3 June 2021

While most of the table is metal, the fence is plastic and mine was warped which is pointless. And as others have noted, the extra table attachments line-up with nothing and the way the router attaches is clumsy and insecure. The entire point of a router table (no matter how small) is to help make things more accurate but this table makes things worse. I'm back to hand-routing with clamped straight edges but I'd happily pay more (like $249) for a small table that is simpler with less junk (just a fence and flat table) but one that is much more accurate.

Short on Quality Design
16 April 2022

It turns out that this table is a generic design and when instructions are followed makes difficult to change bits. I had to do a heck of a lot of research until I found out that the springs in the actual router need to be removed so that you can access the bit change from the table. When I assembled the table I notice a small repair to the top. Doesn’t affect the routing process but obviously there is no quality control at whatever factory manufactured them. Had I know more about the table prior to purchase I would have bought either a better on or built a table. I’ve always used Ozito for jobs around the home and been satisfied with value for money but this product falls short.
