When I purchased this hut, I was expecting actual pressed wood fibres. Turns out "pressed wood fibres" is just a fancy word for cardboard, which I was trying to reduce the consumption of. Was expecting actual wood grained pieces pressed together.Otherwise, my bunnies really enjoy chewing on it.

Bunnies go ape for the hay hut

My bunnies love it. I looked at it very closely and raised there are bits of dried carrots amongst the hay which appears mostly Lucerne. For that reasons this hay hut is definitely a treat. Btw, only the large size will do, I had to but the medium once and my bunnies weren’t impressed that they couldn’t go inside to chew it out. Wasted half of it.

These are awesome. My 5 Guinea pig girls love them. Highly recommended!

Great Product!

This offers our girls hours of entertainment. They enjoy jumping up on top of the hut, flipping it over. By the time they are finished it has been destroyed.

Great idea for an inquisitive bunny.

I received this hut yesterday and my rabbit loves it. I did buy the medium size which she just fits in. She started nibbling it and playing hide and seek. I was so impressed that I have purchased another two. Another medium and a large as she has several play areas.

Hay Hut Large

I bought this hay hut for my beautiful English Giant Rabbit, who surprisingly fits inside it! He loves hopping in & out of it, nibbling at it & chewing the cardboard. He loves tossing it around, & hiding in it. Great sturdy item which has lasted three months now.

Overpriced product

Possibly my own fault for not reading a description properly, but I didn't realise that the hut is in fact structured of cardboard and just coated in hay. My expectation was a that the whole structure was compressed hay. My rabbit still liked it and it's an alright product but I think that the pricing is a bit steep for what is essentially a cardboard box with some hay stuck to it, seeing as both cardboard and hay are both relatively cheap materials.

So many laughs

Our 3 guniea pigs has an absolute ball with this product. It lasted about 2 weeks. They really enjoyed sleeping in it. Playing with it. Jumping up on it and nibbling the hay off it and ripping up the cardboard

Strong, edible and looks good.

We received this Hay Hut a few weeks ago and put it straight into our indoor area for our 2 piggies.The medium sized hut only really accommodates 1 piggy comfortably but as they have shown us at times they can both fit in, although one will get out very soon and go over to the cardboard box we have as a second shelter.They hay glued to the hut is only a thin layer but will a least be a bit more nutritious than just cardboard alone when they do eat it.They haven't gone crazy eating it as I thought they would but time will tell as they love to eat their cardboard homes.It does not have a floor which is good and we put newspaper under it and a bit of hay inside.

Totally worth the money

As one reviewer stated, it is a box with chaff/hay stuck on it but both Kevin and I agree it’s well worth the money. He spends so much time entertaining himself with it, even moves/pushes it to his bedroom at night. Hard to get him to eat any hay best of times but he’s stripped the hay and now eating the cardboard.
