Cooking with the smart chef program is also amazing feature which really removes much of the guess work involved with cooking. Just place your food, set the food type, set the weight (if cooking by weight) and let Philips Smart Sensing technology do the rest. Another feature that I just love is the cord storage compartment; while this may seem silly, I think all appliances should have some built in storage to put away the unsightly cords. For me, the small details matter and having this built in is amazing. As for clean-up, I love that all of the major components are dishwasher safe, however they are simple enough to wash by hand. I like that the basket bottom is removal which makes it even easier to clean. Overall, Philips knocks it out of the park with their newest Airfirer XXL. You can enjoy all of your favorite fried dishes with less oil! Let the appliance do all the heavy lifting so you can spend more time enjoying the meal with the family. Itâs certainly a game changer for us in our kitchen as it has become a mainstay/must have appliance in our kitchen, and really in any kitchen!

The machine is very simple & easy to use; I like the rotary knob method of setting the temperature & timer, rather than having to hold down a button. The fan is relatively loud, which may annoy some people; however, I have no problem with it. It also comes with less accessories, such as a rack for two-layer cooking, which you must buy separately. I was told it has more sophisticated technology for circulating the air during cooking. Even if that's true, I cannot notice a material difference in the results of my cooked food. The intelligent cook function either undercooks or overcooks our food, so it is not a true feature worth paying for. It is also misleading to call the appliance XXL because the internal capacity is very small. It was hard to fit a (small) whole chicken inside. It seems no bigger inside than the Bellini. Most people would benefit from both items. Having done my research we had a both of difficulty explaining to teh staff about this subtle but important difference, in the end they opened up the boxes to prove they were the same item... OH what a surprise to find they were not, they wanted us to take teh BLACK model as it was "in store", the white one needed to brought down from their warehouse, they kept saying they were the same, but they then learnt they were not - this could be an issue for buyers who may be talked into taking home a unit they did not want. So WHY NOT just both both items into BOTH the XXL Premiers Air Fryers so everyone is happy, and there is no confusion. Philips, you do a great job with your products, but this little glitch is silly!

This may seem picky but for something branded as "Premium" and costing over $500 I expected better. On return to the store I was told they were all like that, that Philips were aware of the issue but it doesn't affect the operation of the unit and it still works fine. Notably the picture of the unit on the Philips website has the tray perfectly aligned with the body. Anyway, the real thing wasn't up to standard aesthetically for me so I returned it unused. Excellent helper in the kitchen. Besides using it to prepare my daily meal such as chicken, salmon/fish, flies etc with the SMART CHEF PROGRAM, I have also used it for snacks as well! It is my best choice to buy this after doing a research comparing all brands/models in the market! I am so happy with this PHILIPS PREMIUM XXL AIRFRYER. I also brought the following accessories: grill master kit, snack cover master with silicone tongs and baking kits as well. I use the double rack that is included when I need to make a big batch of food when I have more visitors at home. This air flyer now almost replaces my big oven and save my electricity bill as it doesnât need to preheat. It is my best choice to buy this after doing a research comparing all brands/models in the market! I am so happy with this PHILIPS PREMIUM XXL AIRFRYER. I also brought the following accessories: grill master kit, snack cover master with silicone tongs and baking kits as well. I use the double rack that is included when I need to make a big batch of food when I have more visitors at home. This air flyer now almost replaces my big oven and save my electricity bill as it doesnât need to preheat. This Airfryer is making me question whether or not I will trust the Phillips Airfryer ever again. Firstly the mould is clearly faulty and no one in quality control decided to check. The first one I received had a bump out on the right and the movable outer compartment was sitting unevenly to the left. I returned this only to be sent one with the same problem. I then checked the display model at another retailer and it had the same defect. Secondly I decided that if 3 out of the 3 I had ever seen was like this and there are reviews showing it worked then itâs just aesthetics! This brings me to my secondly⊠I tried the Airfryer and walked back into the kitchen to see a mild haze though out. I washed the unit and this happened on each occasion thereafter. By the way with use of the unit, the misalignment worsens Thirdly, I call you, Phillips and I was told to clean the unit more thoroughly.. I wash it after each use! Iâm even patronised to refer to the âhow to clean your Phillips Airfryerâ YouTube video. As I had already done all the troubleshooting prior to calling, I declined and requested that I have an email to advise the retailer that I am permitted to return the unit for a full refund, as it was now out of the retailers 30 days. Donât worry folks, I know my rights.. only wanted this to make my life easier. Lastly, Phillips you obviously know that there is something wrong with this model/colour from the manufacturing process. Correct this⊠offer people that have trusted you and upgraded or tried you for the first time either a replacement unit without manufacturing faults or a refund. Do a recall! NOW!
