This product is great when it works. My first blades were fine, then I purchased a pack of replacement blades…totally different experience. The first one broke one of 4 hinges immediately. I thought I had accidentally mishandled it. I used it as best as I could but of course while taking the comb guide off the hinge on the opposite side broke. I made a point of being overly gentle with the second blade in the pack. 3 of 4 hinges broke almost immediately. Reading a 1 star review like this you’d wonder about the writer and if he’s just too dumb to use the product properly, but my voice is just one of many who experienced these expensive product failures. Surely Philips could make these better; I feel like they were de-contented to fail while they still had useful life ... MoreThis product is great when it works. This 3-pk of replacement blades is nearly as simple as it gets. I have already been using the Philips OneBlade for a while and received these replacement blades for free in exchange for this honest review.I regularly remove the blade on my OneBlade to clean some of the small hair that can tend to be stuck behind it. That makes me think about two things: First, unnecessary waste, and second, Phillips trying to make another buck, by having everyone replace their blades sooner than necessary.The OneBlade razors are not like a typical shaving razor that is getting nicks in the blade as easily and risk cutting your face. In addition, if you are using a trimmer head as opposed to straight on the face, if there were any slight nicks on the blade you do not risk any chance of cutting your face since the blades are not actually touching you. Granted you would have a decreased quality of cut though.Overall, I think the blades are exactly what they are advertised as, replacement blades. I would not expect any more or less than what you are currently experiencing with the original blade that came with the OneBlade set.

I already had in my possession the one blade but was not aware that the blade itself had been improved upon. I was happy to try the new blade and am so happy I did. I have a goatee beard which, when shaving, can be a little difficult to keep looking tidy, straight lines etc. Using the one blade with new blade has helped where other products do not. It is so easy to use, so smooth and trims brilliantly. Added to that, I am now also able to trim armpits and around my chest with ease, therefore keeping my body looking smarter and tidier as a result. No issues with possible cuts as other blades etc do happen to cause. Good product that is easy to use. My photos show the old type blade and new one

I love this shaver. It gives me a cleaner shave and closer shave than my other electric razor. It’s not like baby bum smooth but I like my little bit of stubble. Got to admit though it does go close enough to the point where you are supposed to have a shave. I love it and give it 5* I normally just use my electric other brand shaver and it leaves more stubble but this Philips one gets a much closer shave. Love how it just glides through the stubble.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I got the replacement blades as part of the Philips VoxBox campaign. Each blade is supposed to last ~4 months and have a convenient, color-based indication system to show when it's time for a change. Since the first blade will last a really long time, I thought I'd speak a bit about their quality instead. The blades are quite sharp and do a great job of providing a close shape, and yet because the cutting happens due to the blade's vibrating motion, it doesn't cut the skin in a way a conventional razor would. Given how quick and easy they are to use, it seems unlikely that I'll ever go back to my regular razor. I recommend these!
This was gifted to my son as when I saw it was up for a product test I applied knowing it was something my son already owned and the replacement blades would be very welcome.He just loves this system and highly recommends it so much so that his father and brother have also purchased one they are still newcomers and getting used to the product but early days show they too are fans.It is indeed high praise but my son claims it’s one of the best razors that gives great results every time he uses it.
I’ve been using the one blade for about 4-5 years and have enjoyed it. The blades last for a reasonable amount of time and are fairly priced. That’s why I was super disappointed when I went to buy more and saw that they are charging the same price for a single blade that they use to charge for two. On top of that, during my second shave, all the plastic on the blade crumpled and fell apart. Sad to see another company decrease the quality of its products to increase profits.
The Philips OneBlade 2 replaceable blades are easy to use with no risk of cutting yourself.They don't irritate my skin like other products.When using the comb on the lowest setting the blade gives me a really close shave but not too close to cause skin irritation. The blades are quick and easy to use and they don't miss hairs or leave patches, they just leave me with a nice even stubble.The hair on my chin and neck can be course and tough, however these blades glided through them without any pulling or tugging on the hair which can be quite uncomfortable.They can be used wet or dry and give a great shave either way.The interchangeable blades for face and body are very useful. And the areas of my beard that I trimmed were even and neat, with none of the usual long stragglers. Fantastic product!!!Works really well on both one blade and one blade pro. Stops my issues of really bad shaving rashes, but still provides a close shave that last all day.Ive recommended them to multiple people and a few people have gave them a go.The new addition of a usage indicator is a welcome addition as they do last a long time.A perfect product
