Pilot G2 Gel Pen Fine Light Blue

I'll give it four stars because it's one of the better pens that can be easily found, but I don't enjoy writing with it very much. The pen doesn't dry quickly and smudges when highlighting words. It doesn't bleed through paper (tested on Kokuyo Campus paper), but it does shadow quite a bit. It's sort of scratchy, but not an unbearable amount. Contradictive to it being slightly scratchy, there's a lot of ink that dispenses. The ink is a vivid black, at least. The grip is comfortable but not my favorite; it's quite high on the pen. The pen feels a bit cheap, despite the price being considerably high. It also makes a rattling noise while writing with it, and the clicker is loud. Overall, a fine pen. I wouldn't recommend it, but I'll use it up.

I was gifted this set of Pilot G2 Gel Roller Black Pens 2 Pack in exchange for my honest review. These are seriously great pens! They provide a truly smooth and comfortable writing experience with vibrant and vivacious colored or black inks in all sorts of unique colors and shades. Even with these plain black G2 Gel Pens you can tell the ink is quality ink made from great materials. I don’t get any uncomfortable pressure points when writing with these pens even for extended periods of time. 2 big thumbs up!

These are the only pens I'll buy. I get them in .7 and 1.0, but I think I prefer the .7's. The 1.0 will sometimes smear cause the lines are thick, but they write amazingly well and smooth. These are the pens I don't let people use cause they'll take them. These are also the pens I'll take from you if you let me use one. 😆 We have a couple on our table and one of our cats always loves to play with them and bat them around. I buy'em by the 12-pack so I have some at home and some at work. My Mom will only use these now as well so I always gotta donate a couple to her. You can't go wrong with these. If you give them a try, you won't go back to anything else. Simply the best ball point gel pens around.

This is the best pen ever. It has a fine tip, the grip is amazing, it fits perfectly in your hand, it doesn’t have a cap, it has a click top, which I love because I tend to lose the caps of pens all the time. It has a bit of weigh too it, which makes it feel really luxurious (for a pen to feel luxurious you know it’s good lol) The ink does not stain, or run, it drys quickly. The fine tip makes my handwriting look clear and able to read extremely well, I have a bit on the smaller side handwriting. If you’re a person like me and love a good pen, this is a must have. The price is higher then the average one, that’s because this isn’t average! Buy it!

I have written thousands of pages over the years with these pens. They are the best, they last a long time, rarely leak (out of the hundreds I’ve used up, only one ever leaked, and three had the roller tip wear off before the ink ran out) The ink flow is very smooth with minimal pressure required to get a solid line out of it. As I am a chronic hand-writer, that specific feature has probably saved me from developing a repetitive strain injury. I left one in an old backpack and it still worked after seven years of just sitting. It is a very quality pen. The only thing that really messes it up is writing too hard with it, so if you write like you’re carving your words in stone, it would not work well for you.

Long lasting, vibrant, smooth for quick note taking

These are my favorite pens- specifically these colors: black, red, green, purple, blue (don’t get the metallic ones- they’re hardly visible on a page). These pens are super vibrant, they don’t dry up or clog randomly (like papermate inkjoys tend to do), they’re long-lasting, and glide fluidly across the page. I’d recommend these for note taking (especially if you need to write fast). They’re also quick drying, but they have a tendency to smear SOMETIMES, but usually I don’t have a problem with smearing. The plastic bodies are also refillable. 10/10 would recommend, and will buy again.

Love it so far

I can’t speak for the longevity of this pen but I’m hopeful. I hate writing in pen - much prefer pencil. But at my work end up reaching for a pen most of the time because we never have pencils unless I bring my own. Which I do but lose or forget. These will live in a special spot at work so I don’t forget. Anyway - have been on the hunt for a fine point pen that doesn’t smudge or get too inky. I have horrible writing and regular cheap pens don’t help. I ordered some others that were .5 but they smudged. These are perfect and the click version so I don’t have to worry about losing the cap. I bought them for myself and one of my coworkers who usually picks us up some dollar store versions that are ok but fall apart. And they still smudge. Love the ultra fine tip but the nib breaks

I love the ultra fine tip but out of a pack of three, I often have at least one in which the inner part of the nib suddenly protrudes while I'm writing. This can't be fixed so the pen has to be trashed. The ink immediately stops flowing and the pen just scratches the paper. Frustrating when the ink is still full. This is a common problem with G2 pens. I'm not a heavy-handed writer, and I hope they fix the design. But for now, I'm done with G2 since the last pack had three out of three that broke the same way.

Product potential good , disgusting product

This is a PSA to all. These pens only write good for a short time. Do not make the mistake that I made and buy them in bulk and loose up to $150. When you buy in bulk , Office Depot won’t do equal exchange when the new pens won’t write because the ink stop working or the refill inks you bought because you didn’t think the love u have for the Brand would betray you in every way. Please only buy 1 single pen at a time. Storage instructions are a lie too. Try the refrigerator instead for storage
