I was so excited to have a Ping bag to go along with my full set of Ping clubs that I was fitted for, but once I received the bag I quickly realized that it will often times fall over on its face without any wind or outside forces. So far, I have been lucky to not have any broken or damaged clubs, but I worry that I cannot use this bag anymore and risk potential damage. I have tried organizing my clubs in various ways, but no matter what I do it still seems unstable. I think it is just too light, and has too narrow a base to support clubs, balls, etc. very disappointing. I’m considering going with the Pioneer or DLX, but this experience has left me pretty sour when it comes to Ping bags and I really don’t want to waste any more money as this bag was already ... MoreI was so excited to have a Ping bag to go along with my full set of Ping clubs that I was fitted for, but once I received the bag I quickly realized that it will often times fall over on its face without any wind or outside forces. Just received my bag and will say it's great looking overall. Pocket layout is great and really like the inside pockets inside the 2 side large pockets. Still feels light loaded with all my clubs and accessories. The 2 smaller side pockets I do really like the magnetic closure flaps, pretty cool in my opinion.Only 2 issues I have with the bag is I got the blue bag and the top cover is black, would expect the cover to match the bag and this will bother me when I have to use it, . Second issue I see is the zippers feel a tad weak and might wear out quick unless you are over careful all the time.Over all this is a great bag and would reccomend.

The bag has great features but after putting in your clubs, balls, towel, etc, the bag will lose balance and will constantly fall over, even when on an even surface. This makes even storage a challenge. Not being able to stand on it's own makes even bringing it to the range a problem. I would not recommend this bag.

I purchased a brand new, fitted set of the g425 irons, the g425 LST driver, g425 max 3 and 5 wood, and the Shea putter (amazing clubs). I wanted to fit the new set with a worthy bag and went with the black and white ping traverse bag, the complete package is a head turner. The only down side of the bag is that there are two rivets that hold the back handle on that are not covered by any material. After my second round with the new set up I noticed that the shaft of my brand new driver was scratched right where these rivets are in the bag. It is a real bummer to invest in a set of clubs, put them in the manufactures bag and then have the bag cause damage to the clubs. For the price of the bag I was expecting a little more.
I bought this bag from a local Ping fitter- distributor. The bag looks nice, is light weight , BUT , it falls over on its own. My Ping clubs have been reorganized in the bag, the bag still falls over. I hope that nothing breaks when this happens again. It seems when the bag gas clubs in it, the balance is off. I now need to stand the bag so it will not fall over. VERY disappointed !!Also , when this bag is sitting on my push cart , the club slots on the 2 bottom corners collapse somewhat, making it difficult to pull the clubs out, and harder to put them back into the slots. Probably will need to purchase another bag, this one has been used 5 - 6 times.
Hi. I bought off riverside golf 3 months ago, I love the look of the bag but the design is terrible, once the bag is tilted, resting on the stand legs every club gets jammed going in and out. It’s become so annoying I went back to old cart bag. The traverse bag probably would have been better option but I chose hoofer 14 strictly for looks. Bad mistake, I’ve since given it to son in law. Because his was ancient. Now I’m bag less. lol. I wish I would’ve reed all reviews first. Very disappointed because I’m a total Ping enthusiast.
I purchased this bag about 3 weeks ago. It's an awesome bag. I love the pockets and weight. However, the quality is already becoming a concern. The grab handle is already fraying, and I've only taken it on the course twice. At this rate it'll fall off by end of golf season. I won't be buying again until they use higher quality material or stitching on handle.
I will not buy a cheap cart bag again. The last one was a Taylormade and the outside pocket ripped wide open. The material was not durable. It only lasted 2 seasons. Decided to splurge on this cart bag and couldn't be happier. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design of this bag. The cooler at the bottom of this bag even has a drain for water to escape. Just buy it and don't waste your money on cheap Taylormade and Callaway bags that only last 2 or 3 years before it rips or a zipper breaks.
Very satisfied with this bag, all the storage is convenient. The top 2 outside club dividers (either side of the driver well) are a bit small if you use mid or oversize grips but they fit. The bag is super clean looking and preforms as it should. I heard some reviews that the bag doesn’t stand on its own well but I have yet to have a problem and it’s not a stand bag anyway.
This is an honest review from someone who takes care of his equipment.Everything about the bag I like except the durability... It looks amazing, the layout of the pockets are great, 14 way divider and the cooler pocket is a nice touch. I have had it less then a year... l live in Canada so really it has seen like 4 months total of outdoor use. I walk with it on a clicgear model 4 pushcart. There are multiple spots with wear that are only getting worse... Which I would be fine with after years of use not months. The material is just not durable at all-very disappointing. As someone who games a g430 driver, g430 3 and 7 wood....and a ping PLD anser 2.... I feel the quality of this bag does not deserve a Ping logo... It does not even compare to the quality of the ... MoreThis is an honest review from someone who takes care of his equipment.Everything about the bag I like except the durability...
