I bought the slicer in hopes to use on vegetables from my garden to slice and put in freezer, well the blade was dull and wouldn’t even slice a tomato for my sandwich! I was so looking forward to using this and now I’m bummed!

I like the mandolin a lot. It's easy to get thin slices. Be careful, it's very sharp.
It broke the first time I used it....has a knob to change the depth of th slice that wouldn’t turn
My fingers and knuckles are saved! I recently learned about this kitchen item. It slices great. No cheese grader for me. Using that side slicer is silly and painful. Perfect slices to make me hubby's favorite zucchini casserole. ( He hates it, LoL) I highly recomend
