Perfection!!! Both the materials and the sound it produces. A bit expensive but the tones are much more expensive too. Best guitar I ever had.

This is a great instrument for the price point. I have been a guitar player for many years, and have owned guitars from virtually every maker out there. I decided to give PRS a shot, after playing some bandmates guitars (they had the US version). I was looking for a bargain, and I found out that i was really surprised at the quality, fit and finish of this guitar. It is absolutely beautiful and sweetwater music did a fine job of the pre sale setup of this guitar. I am blown away by this guitar, and I'm real picky.

Would like to have had a slightly wider neck, but that's a personal thing and not a reflection of this guitar overall. Feels good and plays great! I did change out the strings to Ernie Ball Slinkys as soon as I got it though. The tobacco burst color is really cool looking. It has more of a brown color tone to it than the typical sunburst "orangish" color and blends really well. I also noticed that the tone knobs had dust in them, so I will have to spray them to clean the wipers. If you are thinking about purchasing guitar, I would recommend this one highly!
Great guitar. Sounds, looks and plays great. Will definitely purchase another PRS. Top quality for the money.
The guitar is great, surprisingly though, for a PRS, there were two quality control issues with it. Firstly, the edge of the nut closest to the low E string was sharp and was sticking out a bit from the neck. Secondly, the input jack nut was not tightened at all, which resulted in it falling apart completely, the second time I played the guitar. Both issues were fixed by me as I didn't consider it worth sending the instrument back, but PRS should have picked up and rectified both of these problems prior to shipping as they were both pretty obvious.
Excellent guitar. Set up was perfect.
Update to my review above. In playing the SE McCarty more I was able to tame the bright/harsh upper end on my tube amp by not pushing the pre and master volumes. While I like the tubes overdriven tone doing this with all my other guitars, the SE seemed ice picky and bright. Keeping tubes not so driven helped tame the SE tone.
