Rain-X Original Glass Water Repellent, 473 ml

Really works! Applied the product before taking a trip where rain was definitely expected. While driving into the sun it was pretty apparent where I had not done enough buffing, so at the next stop I used my lint proof cloth to take care of the small areas. Then the rain and it just beaded while driving and wipers worked great. Missed using it on the rear window but soon!

Best product to repel rain.

Rain-X is the only maker I know of that makes a product like this and it work great. It takes a little work to apply but the results are worth it. It lasts many months before needing a new application. One 16 oz. bottle lasts me many years. Water and snow are repelled, making removal easier and visibility greatly improved.

From my experience, the product usually only last about a month , less in more frequent rainy or snowy conditions. Also, the chemical ingredients in windshield washer fluid will also break down Rain-X, so if you are using Rain-X, try to minimize the use of windshield washer fluid.

Rain-X Water Repellant. It just works

I used this product many years ago and was pleased to find it was still available.After applying Rain-X Water Repellant to my windscreen the glass felf slippier than before. Since applying Rain-X there hasn't been much rain, so its hard to know whether the rain drops will slide off, but my memories of previous usage showed that it dose and that is why I purchased this product again.

Water Beads Like Magic!

This product is amazing and so easy to use. It is obvious where you have applied it as it develops a haziness upon drying so you know where to buff. I did the front and rear windows on our car and was staring in wonder at the next rainstorm. The water just beaded and flew off the window. I had my wipers going as well of course but they glided across the windshield like a hot knife across the butter. The price was around the $10 mark but it is well worth it as there are many applications in the bottle. I will be using it again and again.

Works as advertised!

I saw the ads for this product on TV years ago and thought it was some fake photography or some trick. But my brother put some on my winshield and I really couldn't believe it. It doesn't work as well at slow speeds (less than 40 or 45 mph) and in a massive rainstorm you will still need wipers. But at highway speeds in almost any conditions, the rain just peels right off the winshield, no need for wipers at all. I would recommend this product.

I got this product a couple of weeks ago I was waiting to use it because I live in Colorado and the weather has been snowing off and on. This product has to be used in temperatures above 40 degrees when being applied and it has not been consistently warm enough for me to apply it. But I have finally gotten the chance and the verdict is in I love this product I applied after I wash my truck because the windows has to be clean as well. Pros it definitely works It repelled water pretty good. But on the plus side it snowed two days later after applied it didn’t repel the snow build up obviously this not what this product is known for. But it did seam to help with the windows not fogging so easy and as well as not icing up so quickly. Which was super awesome when you are in a snow storm but for normal rain pour or condensation water seams to just bead right off. I will definitely buy this product again and I would recommend to anyone in places with heavy rain or adverse conditions.

But, if you follow instructions it works AMAZINGLY WELL.You'll have to re-apply after a few storms, and after a car wash. When you re-apply you'll see how much grim you didn't clean off the windshield, but, that's a good thing it cleans even more. Always apply on a clean windshield.

[Rewarded Review] Rain-X Helps Glass Shed Rain

This product does help glass in my Toyota Prius Prime shed rain water. There is no windshield wiper in the rear windscreen, due to the curve of the glass. So it is important that the glass can shed water. And I must be able to see through this glass when it is raining. Rain-X when properly applied and wiped did and does what it is supposed to do. I can see through the glass without the need for a windshield wiper back there. One less worry when driving on a rainy day. We'll see how it performs in winter weather, with ice as well as rain.
