After reading a really interesting book on salt, I realised how much better a quality salt like Redmonds is for us. It doesn't contain iodine (which we need in out diet) BUT it has a load of other really important nutrients that we don't get from regular table salt. It tastes great - I've started adding a pinch to my water after workout. I use it just as I would table salt - in fact I have completely replaced table salt with Redmonds

I have been using this salt for years in my cooking. I am a pretty good home cook and originally found at Wholefoods. Since Wholefoods was taken over by Amazon, things at my location were changed Slowly but surely and this is one of the products. Sprouts did carry but not lately. I went on Amazon online but had to pay for shipping and handling which isCostly. Interest I was looking at Google and manufacture also charges for shipping/handling but noticed IHerbs carried it. I needed som nutritional supplements as well so added the salt. Good price and the quality and taste is incredible. You’ll love it .

Firstly, this salt tastes delicious! Sweet and salty and full of all the minerals you need.I have POTS which means, among other things, my body doesn’t like holding onto salt. I have to have immense amounts of sodium and salt a day to function and prefer to choose high quality salt over commercial, high processed varieties. I buy these bigger packets to decant into the smaller containers, then so I can literally carry them in my purse to put salt in my water, on my food or just lick off my hand when I’m out and about. You shouldn’t fear salt, you should fear the processed variety! Everyone needs mineral rich salt to stay hydrated and mineralized. This size is perfect and last a while. Highly recommend!

one of the most trustworthy and clean salts. Because it is mined from an ancient sea, there is little chance that it has pollutants and plastics in it. The flavour is a balanced mild salt, unlike most salts being too aggressive. It is worth paying a little extra for a high quality product such as this. I use all three grinds: coarse, fine and kosher/pickling salt (semi-coarse ground). it goes without saying that these salts have no caking agents, no bleach, just natural with all the trace elements and minerals included. They really make food taste great. Real Salt like it says on the label.
This is my favorite salt!! I use it daily in all my meals. It is a high quality salt, no fake ingredients. It taste great too, I even use it in a glass of water in the morning to boost electrolytes!! Real Salt has many health benefits, unlike white table salt that should not be part of a healthy diet. Perfect size and lasts, although it does come in bigger packages that can be used to refill this bottle.
Big fan of Redmond and it's single source practice. I only wish their salt shakers came in decent packaging. Those of you who buy regularly know what I'm talking about! The last salt shaker barely worked and leaked everywhere even when twisted shut. So I bought the big bag and just bought a salt shaker separately. When my local store stopped selling it in bulk, I was out of luck until stumbling on Redmond's while shopping Vitacost online. No anti-caking agent (yay) so I gave it a shot. I love the fine texture and prefer it over coarse grinds. Tastes good and gives a consistant sprinkling when seasoning food or measuring when baking. After I bought the first bag and tried it, I bought 2 more bags right away JIC it was ever OOS when I needed to make a reorder. Now, when I finish a bag, I order one or 2 more so I don't run out of it.
