Revlon Pro Collection Salon One Step Hair Dryer and Styler

It's an affordable product, worth the price. The sizing and working modes are just perfect. Switches and buttons are easy to use. It's not too loud. It comes in a lovely design, I like the color combination and the fact that it has a red light when it works. The light doesn't really mean anything that I know of, but I like it.

(It makes you feel that it's working anyway)It comes with a fairly long cord that plugs in to a standard outlet and doesn't cover both sources (yay-2 things can be plugged in at once) and has the 2 standard attachments; a diffuser and focused blower.Both attachments fit easily on the end and are secure. The cord folds easily for storage as well.As for the drying process, it was an upgrade from my 5 years old Conair model and did dry faster but not as fast as the more expensive BIO IONIC dryer I ordered. It worked well though and the handle was more ergonomic than past models making it easier to hold.I almost forgot. There are 2 switches on the handle including a speed switch with 2 variations and a temperature switch that also had 2 modes. There is the almost standard "Cool shot" trigger as well but youse it you have to keep your finger on it the whole time you need it.

I got this blow dryer because I needed something quick and affordable. But I ending loving it! The first photo (with my dog) is without me using the blow dryer and diffusing it with the diffuser mine came with at Walmart. The second photo is after using the blow dryer. It made my curls look sooo good! Definitely recommend this blow dryer!

3c/4a hair - Glad I made the purchase

I have 3c/4a hair and my daughter has 3b/3c hair. I was skeptical at first but I love it.Bought this because my arms & wrist gets tired from holding a brush and blow dryer. Plus I wanted something that would reduce heat damage. The paddle brush is great, soft on the head and not sure what it is but I've noticed less tangling.Heat - there's 2 heat settings plus a cool option. I use low heat on my daughter's hair, it does take longer to dry but felt softer than usual. I use the high heat on my hair, dries my hair within a reasonable time & my hair didn't feel fried the way it usually does with my original blow dryer. It actually felt soft to the touch.The cord is extra long, helps when the plug is far from the mirror.Definitely glad I made the purchase!

Best product around for the money

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter. Amazing safe, easy product that works. My daughter loved sectioning her hair and blow drying it herself. Made her hair look nice and shiney. If she just used the straighteners on the top section it would of been perfect.

Good Value and leaves my hair soft and Shiny

I had been looking for a brush dryer for a few months now. I let my hair grow during lockdown and it is now the longest it has been since childhood.The price I paid from Asda was a true half price deal. Before buying I did a search and all major stores were selling it at the original price. I had seen this item a few months ago and was about to pay the full price; so glad I waited!The Styler itself is rather big and a bit awkward at times. But the more I use it the easier it becomes. I think it would be better suited to folks with thicker hair. But as my hair grows the longer lengths get thicker.I use it most days as with having the longer hair it takes ages to dry. No more frizz, smoother hair

I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it is. I have 2A/2B hair that frizzes a lot. I can't use a standard hairdryer as it goes too puffy unless I use a lot of product and spend ages doing each section with a brush.This styler is amazing. It dries my medium (in thickness and length) hair in 10 minutes and has made it very smooth. However, don't expect it to become straight if you have wavy/curly hair like me. It's more of a smoothing tool. I've still got waves but it's a lot less fluffy and looks more polished and professional.I would recommend a decent heat spray and making sure your hair has been thoroughly towel dried. I leave mine in a towel wrap for about 20 minutes whilst I get dressed etc. then it's ready to dry. It's harder to use if your hair is too ... MoreI wasn't expecting this to be as good as it is. Revlon Pro Collection Salon One-Step Hair Dryer & Styler Black

I used this on both my 20 inch human hair yaki textured frontal wig and on my own relaxed hair which is just above shoulder length. Cons: I wasn’t able to straighten the shorter hair on the nape of my head even on the cool setting as it’s not very cool. You do have to part your hair to e Earle you to get closer to the roots. Pros: it worked well in producing sleek and straight hair from being slightly damp. I was even able to flatten the hair on the lace frontal which I would normally do with a hot comb. Overall I’m pleased with my new purchase and will continue to use it especially on my real hair as it was able to give my relaxed hair a smooth and straight texture with little effort

Tried but prefer a dryer with a Pik attachment.

Used this hair dryer a few times to give it a good go but it doesnt work well for my hair. I have thick afro carribean hair, and towel dry my hair first but the dryer doesn't seem to dry my roots as well as a Pik dryer or stretch and smooth my hair as well. Love the colours and idea but definitely feel its better suited for other hair types. Felt this hair dryer was abit weighty and as the handle is thick it can only be held by the part just below the brush. Love the brand Revlon but just not this time.

I have a lot to say about this product. In my opinion for what I was looking for it is brilliant. It really does work like its suppose to. I have medium width thick medium porosity hair (and about a 2c 3a/3b curl pattern) and I have found this does work! It dries the hair and stretches the hair. I do this at night if I'm using this product alone, I work each section of hair and pin them up like pin curls as I move to the next section after which taking them down and putting them into a bun before bed. I have found that the hair and puffiness TAMES overnight and looks great. I am someone who doesn't like styling my hair with heating tools too often as they are damaging to the hair. It only stretches and smooths the hair, which is fine! I have tried this instead of a round brush and regular blowdrier to stretch the hair before using a straightener and it works AMAZINGLY for this purpose. So much faster than a traditional blowout whilst giving similar results.Also, another plus is that I've been using this for about a month and a half now and I was using it for about 4 or 5 weeks straight, 1-2 times a week on the highest setting and I found it gave me no heat damage. I put argan oil in my hair whilst it was wet and let it dry about 90% of the way before using this product. So I know this product is probably very safe for most people's hair if they use this sensibly.So, why 4 stars and not 5? The reason this didn't get 5 is because of two reasons:1. The airflow is not consistent throughout the paddle brush design. Most of the airflow comes out of the top of the paddle brush. This isn't a big deal but it's worth noting. I find this is easily resolved by using the paddle brush in a verticle and downward motion rather than horizontally through each section.2. This is a pretty loud product! I know hairdriers are loud, but this seems to be louder than most regular blowdriers I've ever had. Again not a huge deal but maybe don't use this too late at night if you're living with people and they're asleep!Other than this, I really can't say anything bad about it. However, I watched so many youtube videos of reviews on this paddle brush design and the blowdryer + volumizer version they have (the round brush design) and have noticed that most results with the revlon round brush design even on very curly/coarse hair got PERFECTLY sleek and shiny blowouts with that one (obviously results will still vary depending on what curl pattern/texture you have etc but the volumizer seemed to have given sleeker and straighter more "styled" rather than just smoothed and stretched like the paddle brush design).Hope this helps. Overall I'd say if you want sleeker and smoother results get the round brush design if you want just a blowout that stretches and smooths the hair get the paddle brush :))
