Rockland Rolling Duffel Bag Black Dot 22-Inch

We have used this brand before and had good luck, but this one is awful! We have only used it on a few trips because I couldn’t handle it anymore. If you fill the bag up and start to roll it the bag starts to sway back and forth and then you can’t control it. Very frustrating when you are trying to catch a flight. Storage is quite nice and I feel like it does hold a lot, but couldn’t get over how awful it is to roll. I guess if you are just wanting a duffle and not a rolling duffle it would be just fine.

Excellent!

Bought this for trip on plane for carry on. Was very surprised at how much I got packed into it. I didn't even have to carry purse for overflow, as there was none.The pull up handle was spot on while using the wheels to pull through the airport. Other straps and handles made it easy to pick up and place in overhead compartment of the plane.Once I returned home emptied, collapsed and put in closet 'til next trip.

Fell apart in One month

I have used this duffel as a gym bag for one month. The fabric is raveling and the seams are falling apart. There are already holes in the bottom. It is very cheaply made. In addition, it will not stand up on its own but continually falls over.

Great bag

Rolls well. Has a good amount of storage. Several pockets. Strong zippers. Hideaway handle. Cute print and seems like durable material. My son is taking it to camp for a week so we'll see how it holds up.

Great bag in theory

I was blown away by how ginormous this bag is, how much can be packed into it, and the heavy fabric it's made from. That was until I tried to stand the bag up and wheel it. This bag was so heavy, so unwieldy, and so unbalanced that it was extremely difficult to move it. As soon as you let go to try to stand it up, it fell right over onto its front. It was only about 80-90% full. I tried to take out a few of the heavier items from the side pockets, thinking it was throwing the bag way off kilter, but it was not any better. Back to Target it goes.

Great looking, but not very functional!!

So cute, I really wanted to love this duffel. I’ll use it for weekend car trips (hand carry only), but never in a busy airport where I have to pull it any distance. I packed it full, but not overstuffed, and it would only go a couple feet and flip around, as the wheels are too small and unbalanced to allow it to glide as it should. I’m older and can’t quite handle carrying a bag that size very far, so it became real irritating, real fast!! Honestly, it’s built more like a child’s play suitcase. I do not recommend!

Perfect except for the zipper

I bought 4 of these for all my kids. They seem perfect for a week vacation. Sadly one zipper broke before we even left on vacation. I bought it a few months ahead of our trip so the return window is gone. If it weren’t for the broken zipper these would be perfect.

Rockland 124L Rolling Duffel Bag Review

It's a large rolling duffel bag with plenty of space. I wish the handle was longer for rolling the duffle bag. I wish the large space inside the main part of the duffle bag was subdivided into two separate large compartments. This way you can separate your clothes better by days of the week instead of putting all your clothes in one big space inside the duffel bag.

Have had good experiences with other Rockland products so gave this a shot and was pleasantly surprised. Has more features than similar products and well made. I like the colors, gray with orange zippers. Like that it has bottom rails to protect the bottom fabric and zippered cover for the handle. Also like the top buckles between the handles.
