Completely happy with this shockmount, which was used with a Rode NTG4+, also purchased from Store DJ. The quality/build is lovely, I cannot fault the design, and have after over 4 hours of testing, I can't see how anyone would complain.

I use this for my Canon 70d and my Gh4. At first I was skeptical because I didn't like the physical look of the product. I was really used to not having that base plate to give a cleaner look. After having bought it and attaching it to both cameras I think it looks great. Best part is that you can change the location of the hot shoe placement and you can also change the location of the 2 mounts. There are 4 total spots so you can choose to have them as far apart from each other or as close as possible to each other. Great job on the engineering side to have a cable management. The shockmount works great and now that it isn't rubberbands, you can sleep with peace knowing that your microphone is not coming off.

This device does a decent job of quieting external noises but I do not like that the included screws that secure this are very easily stripped using the supplied allen wrench.

I use it to replace the Sony PXW camera mic holder. I can now use a pro shotgun mic (mostly the Rode NTG4) without issues.Vibration insulation is excellent, and the grip too.Absolutely recommended
Great, sturdy product. It is a bit obtrusive in the back near the viewfinder, but for video it keeps my mic stabilized very well.
Best on camera unit I have used to date. The price is fair. Although the unit is plastic, it seems very durable and well made.
Using with Sennheiser ME66 and 67 shotgun mics. The Rycote rubber mount for the sennheisers supports are at 5cm wide. This Rode has a support placement option at 7cm from each other, so offers better front-back tilt stability. The support size range is for mics 19-22mm diameter. The entire structure is plastic with the base being honeycombed. The screw holes for the shock mounts do have metal inserts. The unit includes a large handled Allen key to attach the mounts. The camera shoe is all plastic and has a standard (3/8"?) threaded mounting hole inside it. The hotshoe attaches to the base with a crosspoint screw so should be replaceable in case of damage.
Completely isolates any handling noise that can be transferred from the camcorder body yet it is stiff enough not to allow the microphone with an extra added windshield to droop.
This hotshoe adaptor attached to the Canon1DxMarkIII. Using a Sennheiser MKE 600 shotgun microphone. Having variable screw slots, to adjust for spacing and the overall length of the microphone, is an added bonus! Love it!
I like the mount on the top center of the camera as an alternative the the Canon factory mount as its easily removed and centrally located
