I’m had planned on getting the LG fridge which was similar but they were offering a great price on the Samsung. It had everything I wanted, bottom mount and bigger than my current fridge. It t has the added bonus of a slide back shelf in the fridge for extra tall items. So much room in the door shelve. I’m now have no issues fitting things in both the fridge and freezer. I’m have no use for the ice cube drawer though so my only suggestion would be to get rid of that and have a full width drawer instead.

Delivery to Akaroa no one wanted to travel there. Finally managed to aquire small plastic hinge cover, not included in fridge purchase. $50 Later, we have part. NOEL LEEMING FELT BAD AND REFUNDED DELIVERY COST. SAMSUNG AND OR nNOEL LEEMING NEED TO MAKE THE COSTS AND DOOR SWAP OVER COST, VERY OBVIOUS BEFORE PURCHASE. Love the fridge freezer and will get around to now making the door changes. Then we will be happier.

We bought this fridge because when our last one died, this was literally the only model (bar one with an inbuilt water dispenser and any tiny fridges) that would fit into the fridge cavity in our kitchen. From the day it was installed it has made a quacking noise (still waiting for the tech to come and inspect it). There is a lack of options to vary heights of the shelves so you are stuck with them at the heights and spacing they come in. The butter shelf only just fits a butter container - it literally just scrapes the top and bottom of the shelves as you take in it and out. And the weirdest and most annoying of all things is the bottom freezer drawer only extends out about 10-15 cm!!! That's just totally crazy. You can't open it fit in or take things outs. We recently purchased a new Samsung 427l Bottom mount fridge SRL456LS. We were restricted by the size of the space available due to the size of the old fridge and cupboards around the fridge etc. However, the Samsung fridge that we received fitted perfectly into the existing space. The fridge looks great in the kitchen. The lighting in the fridge is really very good. I love the electronic controls that tell you the current temperature of both the fridge and freezer. The freezer section is really well designed and very functional. The ice cube section is a great addition. Generally, we are extremely happy with the fridge. It is performing very well as expected and is easy to see what food is in the fridge etc. I would definitely recommend this fridge.
Some innovative shelving like (like bottom shelf folds back for big things). But shelves are not adjustable except butter door shelves. Nice big fruit & veggie drawer: terrific how it slides in and down. Freezer section is wonderful with ice cube maker & 2 big & deep shelves plus a small drawer for deserts.BUT, the freezer door is sagging and is not in alignment with fridge section door - where was the Samsung shop floor inspector ? Will be calling AOL or Samsung about this.
This fridge is the perfect size for our family of 4. It's very quite, has a smooth sleek finish that wipes down with ease and finger prints gone. The freezer is a great size and fits plenty in the drawers. The separate ice bay with twist tray is great and easy for kids to use. Plenty of fridge space and a shelf that slides for extra space and also lifts up offering even more space for tall bottles etc. Lots of space in in door shelving, however the egg trays could be improved. Overall we are really happy with this purchase. Delivery was so quick from ordering online, communication was great and delivery was hassle free.
We had to have a fridge freezer that fitted the pace in the kitchen. The samsung fridge freezer that we brought with us was too tall and try as we did we couldnt make the space taller! So that ones in the garage --- I love it! So bought this one --- very different. No easy ice making, in fact the ice making tray is best suited to a dolls house --- tiny! To access the freezer you have to fully open the door to pull out drawers --- who designs that one?! The handle/pull part is so low ----- fine for children. We pull it open higher up --- never seem to use the handle part. The veggy drawer also very small. Wish I could have fitted the other one --- the best! Oh well!!
The Samsung bottom mount fridge is very spacious inside . This is my first bottom mount fridge and I really like the flexible shelving and storage space in the fridge . The drawers in the freezer are great as you can organise your frozen goods and access them easily through the drawer system.The refrigerator is very streamlined a lovely style for kitchen , the stainless steel finish is lovely. The Samsung is also whisper quiet . I’m very happy with my purchase .

I do even recall using thermometer on first day setting up fridge (in proper ventilated area where previous fridge had been running ok for many years) and temp seemed ok. A few months ago, a weird thing happened where I took out some ice cream from freezer and it was partially melted (other things in freezer "seemed" still frozen?). Temp show as -19°C for freezer and 3°C for fridge. Then this last Thursday, a the situation went all down hill. With the LEDs still displaying as correct temp's (as above) it was discovered all food in freezer was totally defrosted. Not even any call from any technician to help troublshoot. JB HIFI where I bought from very helpful, however, appalling experience with product and warranty support from Samsung.
