This is a whole new level when having a face-to-face with someone that doesnât speak your language. If you cannot hear the other person on a video call (A.I call translate feature), it looks like their voice is being dubbed over. Quite remarkable considering this was something I saw many decades ago when watching sci-fi movies and tv shows as a child! This is the future, now!As expected, the sound quality is amazing considering what they have squeezed in to these things. The bass is deep, immersive, the midrange and treble clearly defined, and with specific enhancements on or off, via the app again, the experience can be tailored to everyone's preference.Touch controls are still there on the Buds3 Pro, but this time hidden discreetly on the stems, so those familiar with the earlier Bud versions will have to get used to swiping, pinching, tapping, etc, in different ways. The case can be charged via a USB-C cable or wirelessly, so will keep your Buds3 Pro charged up when not in use. A usual power indicator on the case will alternate between red and green depending on its charge state, and when the case lid is opened, the Buds3 Pro stems light up briefly to show the connection to your device of choice (once set up).The adaptive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) feature will automatically alter the level of ANC depending on the ambient noise in the vicinity. When auto ANC is fully on, the Buds3 Pro will listen out for alarms, sirens, etc, and will instantly allow external noise through when something like that is detected (think emergency services siren). This feature-rich device will certainly deliver. It is an amazing, immersive, and snug-fitting device that will compliment any arsenal of technology in your possession.

This is something that I can only assume has now been rectified as I havenât had any issues with mine since they arrived.Aesthetics: Samsung have decided to change the look of their Buds and have now opted for a triangular design making it difficult to grab without the earpiece being removed from your ear, meaning it affects the touch controls. This is not a dealbreaker but itâs worth mentioning. Looks wise, the Buds pro 3 are incredibly good looking. There is a light on the edge of each earpiece, named the âblade lightâ by Samsung. This light not only looks cool but provides information such as battery life, connectivity status and flashing on command in the event you lose your buds in a dark room. The charging case looks better than its predecessors as well. Samsung have now opted for a transparent top charging case which looks beautiful but the rest of the case feels cheap. On the bright side the case looks and feels much better than the rubbery case of the Buds pro 2.Comfort: The buds pro 3 feel much nicer on the ear than the Buds pro 2. The smaller tip helps with this and Iâve not had any issues with discomfort after long use times.Connection / Setup: In typical Samsung fashion, setup is as simple as opening the charging case and pressing connect on your phone. This process may be made easier because I have a Samsung phone, but Iâd imagine itâs the same with any other device. Itâs important to note that to utilise the full features of the Buds Pro 3, the user needs to have a Samsung device with the Wearable app.Battery Life: Battery life figures are very strong, providing seven hours from the earpieces charge and 30 hours with the charging case with active noise cancelling off. With active noise cancelling on, the battery life is 6hours from the earpieces and 26hours with the case. These numbers are from Samsung but from my own use, it seems to be slightly shorter averaging around 5hours with active noise cancelling. I have only had my buds for 2 days so this may improve after a charging cycle.Features: There are 3 noise control modes to choose from, active noise cancelling, ambient mode and adaptive. Active noise cancelling and ambient mode are features available to previous generations of Buds and other earphones. Adaptive is a new feature for the buds which toggles noise cancellation and switches to ambient mode when detecting a loud noise. You can even go a step further and enable Galaxy AI and have it power the adaptive mode for better results. The AI will optimise the sound depending on your ear shape and how you wear the earbuds. On top of that it can even act as a real time language interpreter by actively translating incoming conversations into your preferred language. There is once again support for Samsungâs take on spatial audio, called 360 audio. This can be switched on and off through the Wearable app meaning it requires a Samsung device to work. The 360 audio features head tracking as well, just like the older Buds generations. Although competent, when turning your head sideways there is a small noticeable delay before the position of the music changes accordingly. The most important feature for me is the active noise cancelling slider which allows you to change the strength of your active noise cancelling. This is a new feature that Samsung have incorporated. Again, to utilise this, you must have a Samsung device with the Wearable app. As for the strength of the noise cancelling itself, even on max itâs still however not as strong as expected. Having said that, in my opinion, itâs better than the Buds pro 2, especially now that you can change the strength.Finishing notes:- The transparent case allows you to know whether your ear pods are in the case without having to open them- The redesign of the buds has made them feel lighter since they touch less of your ear and more of the mass is hanging in the stem- The new case has a pairing button at the bottom, presumably to make it easier to pair non Samsung devices- There are advanced voice controls that allow you to for media controls (pause/play), and volume that work reliably in loud environments- The touch controls have been redesigned making them easier to use than the previous generation- The buds are unfortunately impossible to use for side sleepers due to the stem design- There is currently very limited control for the Blade Lights on the side of the stems. You cannot turn them off through the Wearable app and they are bright enough to be noticed by others in public. On the bright side, they do look great- Adaptive mode isnât as good as it sounds, the ambulance awareness feature has many false positives and seems to trigger just by loud noises.

Have been testing the Galaxy Buds 3 for some weeks now - almost by mistake, as I'd originally planned to try the Buds 3 Pro. I'm so glad I got these instead though for reasons I'll explain later. The Buds 3 connected seamlessly to my Galaxy Fold 6 using Samsung's proprietary Bluetooth codec and have provided an absolutely rock solid connection in my usage so far. They have also connected easily and reliably to another Android device I have using the AAC codec so should also work well with other devices. Before moving on to the sound and usage specifics, the Galaxy Wear app provides useful settings options and well as as a number of prebuilt sound eqs and a 10 band equaliser for the user to generate their own custom one to tailor the buds to their sound ... MoreHave been testing the Galaxy Buds 3 for some weeks now - almost by mistake, as I'd originally planned to try the Buds 3 Pro. There is a noise cancelling option on these but I'm not convinced it does the job that many will expect compared to 'deep ear' IEMS with ANC options.Whether you like to hear your surroundings or be enveloped in background silence will be personal preference but the advantage of the design of these is that they are very comfortable and do not provide ear fatigue during extended usage.Controls work great - slide on the stalks for volume and presses for track skip and play /pause etc all function as expected.Mic quality is very good from my experience also. Finally, probably the most important part, sound quality. I'm actually blown away by these - they fit my sound preferences almost perfectly via the Balanced eq but absolute hit the spot with a couple of very minor in app eq tweaks. No overblown bass, but still enough tight and punchy bass for the music I listen to coupled with plenty of details in the mids and treble region without ever sounding harsh or artificial.Overall, these are highly recommended and have comfortably exceeded my expectations.

The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are a well-built, feature rich, and - crucially - lush sounding set of TWS Buds. The charging case has a pleasing weight to it and the buds slot in easily. The stem design, though divisive, stays in my ear more consistently than many other buds. Thankfully the buds themselves are light, likely to lessen the risk of fatigue. That does come with a trade off in how premium the buds themselves feel, but it is, in my mind, totally worth it.Between voice controls, 3D audio, high resolution audio codecs, and seamless switching between devices beyond typical implementations of Bluetooth Multipoint, this set is brimming with useful features. This aspect of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is tailored best to the Samsung ecosystem, where switching between a Galaxy Book, a Samsung OLED, and an old Galaxy Tab S6 makes for a frictionless experience of a kind basically foreign to the Bluetooth protocol. Having said that my main driver is not a Samsung phone and the fundamentals of the buds - sound, build quality, etc are good enough so that these are worthwhile even if you don't own Samsung devices. At stock settings the sound is v-shaped, bass-heavy, and engaging. There is plenty of bass boom and plenty of sparkle too, though the mids are expectedly recessed.Thankfully a simple EQ function is included in the related app, or you can use your own EQ through other software.Busy electronic tracks sound excellent. Tutara Peak's 'Gold in Autumn' never loses coherence, and the mix of woodwinds, strings, and electric guitar have great separation. With my suggested EQ, I think a lot of airiness is added to a range of tracks. The guitars in 'Gold in Autumn' seem closer to the listener, but the ambient aspects of the track seem to have more space.JPEGMAFIA's Dikembe samples Getz/Gilberto (via the Pharcyde); the famous guitar line is less veiled with boosted mids, again seeming closer to the listener while adding an airy, almost ethereal presence. The same can be said even of the more lo-fi hip hop tracks; Mike's 'Hunger' benefits in the same way, as the rapper's voice is far clearer.Overall, these are excellent buds worth the price of admission for their sound, especially EQ'd. Good battery life and excellent features enhance their value.
Firstly let's start by commending Samsung for making such a well rounded pair of wireless earbuds. These excel in both high-quality audio and comfortable form factor.I usually suffer from having ears that don't accomodate many in ear headphones well, but these seem to fit in my ears very securely, and I didn't have the problem with them falling out over extended periods of use. This could also be adjusted by using the different tips, but I found I didn't need to do this. I even wore them on a run, where the IPX7 water resistance came into play as it was slightly spitting, typical british weather. The sound quality of the Galaxy Buds3 Pro has to be one of the most impressive things about them. The bass is deep, the mids are clear, and the highs are more detailed than ever before. The 360 audio feature really did add spatial audio like I've never heard before and made the experience of using these wireless earbuds even more immersive. The active noise cancellation makes these really stand out from the competition, and you can really use this to block out the external environment like a busy bus or pacled train.Battery life on these were great for me, and with the added battery built into the case I was never caught lacking the use of these wireless buds, even over a prolonged amount of time. Wired and wireless charging available to be utilised on these. These were very easy to pair with my Samsung S24 Ultra, and asked to be connected after I opened the lid of the new buds. The few calls I did with these were very solid in quality with the mutliple microphones able to pick up every word, again, even in noisy environments. To summarise I would say the Galaxy Buds3 Pro are a solid choice for anyone who is looking for some high-quality wirleless buds, especially those in the Samsung eco-system already, as the buds do have some features that are limited to Samsung devices. The fit is superb and the sound quality in a league of it's own for in-ear buds.
I have used many earbuds, including the predecessors to these (the Galaxy Buds2 Pro), and their main 'white' competitor. The Galaxy Buds3 Pro are a big improvement on the Buds2 Pro both in music sound quality and in using the microphone for calls particularly in noisier environments. In fact when making calls whilst walking down a busy road with lots of traffic noise the caller could only hear my voice and nothing else which was extremely good. For me, they fit perfectly although I did change one of the earbud tips for the larger size to get a more comfortable fit. Battery life is excellent, I would say slightly better than the Buds 2 pro. The Buds3 Pro auto switch between these devices a lot faster and more reliably than the Buds2 Pro did, so that is a big improvement too.The two things I don't like about these buds are that I find wearing them for a long period of time causes a pressure-like buildup in my ears and makes them uncomfortable after an hour or so of wearing. I can take them out for a few minutes and then replace them and they are fine again but it's the only pair of earbuds that I have owned which have this problem. Also comparing these against their 'white' competitors, the sound is inferior, but not by much. It just sounds a little over artificially processed in the Buds 3 Pro.Overall though if you own a Samsung phone, tablet or laptop, these are by far the best option on the market, and I would also say probably the market leader in terms of call quality in noisy environments.Overall I am very happy and really enjoy using these buds and would highly recommend them.
I have a love hate relationship with wireless ear buds having had a few pairs throughout the years. This type of completely wireless ear buds give the most freedom from trapping wires in clothes but often feel heavy in the ear. The Galaxy Buds FE feel a bit like this they're definitely longer than I was hoping they would be and so stick out of my ears more than I hoped. The galaxy wearable app has a handy fit checking feature which helps advise on when you've achieved a good fit acoustically but they still felt like they may fall out if I were to run. The buds come with three different sizes of tips and two types of wings. I think I'm most disappointed by the wings as I had hoped they'd plug into the ridges in my ears and provide stability but they don't even touch ... MoreI have a love hate relationship with wireless ear buds having had a few pairs throughout the years. The buds come with three different sizes of tips and two types of wings. I think I'm most disappointed by the wings as I had hoped they'd plug into the ridges in my ears and provide stability but they don't even touch my ears. Perhaps I need to keep playing with ear tip sizes to get the buds in further.Otherwise the Galaxy buds FE are great and offer a lot of premium features. Pairing them with my phone is so easy you just open the case the buds come with and click on the Bluetooth icon and it downloads all the software etc by itself. The Sound quality is amazing and it has fubctioning active noise cancellation a lot of the earphones and hesdphones that I've previously bought at this pricepoint say they have ANC but the ANC produces a faint sound itself but this is much more premium and doesn't produce a sound of its own and does a good job of eliminating most of the background noises on my commute. The smart things app gives you a find my buds feature which uses other Samsung devices to help find your devices if you lose them and the wearables app has a whole host of features such as equilaiser which you just don't usually get from other devices at this price range. The case is great charging the buds and is really strong construction. The one thing I question is why they chose to give is a shinny white finish when the case will have a relatively tough life and the buds have a nice matt black finish. Overall I'm very happy with this product once I figure out the fit for my ears I will give it all 5 stars.
Connectivity â This is straightforward with a Samsung Phone; however, I cannot comment on how easy it is on other devices. However, I feel once you have the Galaxy Wear apps, and all relevant aspects downloaded for buds on another android device it would similarly. When using a Samsung phone, you just need to open the case, click connect and off you go! Easy! When using default settings, the earphone pauses the music/video pretty quickly then resumes when you put it back in your ear.Functionality â When using as my daily driver, its pretty easy to forget they are in your ear. When using default settings, the earphone pauses the music/video pretty quickly then resumes when you put it back in your ear.Functionality â When using as my daily driver, its pretty easy to forget they are in your ear. The ambient sound is great and clear, and the voice detection is relatively good apart from few occasions where Iâve said voice command to like âmusic stopâ or ânext songâ and it hasnât kicked in but thought I was talking so engages ambient sound for talking to someone. The noise-cancellation is effective but isnât needed all the time as the sound isolation is pretty good for earbuds of these class (better in my ear than some others Iâve tested). The sound equaliser options are very varied and allows for decent amount of customisation, could be better though. Auto-switching to phone audio when earbuds are removed is nice touch, this along with auto-switch to ambient sound when sirens are detected. Note that the voice commands work well with any phone as they are tied to earbuds and not the phone and that there is a small issue if you grab the bottom of the stem during a call you may end the call (as I discovered during an interview).Sound â The basic equaliser settings are pretty good but starts out on balanced when first paired with your phone, personally Iâd recommend the dynamic setting for more full and accurate sound profile as âbalancedâ profiles a flat sound profile, along with clear. However, the earbuds will automatically adjust the overall sound to your ear âfitâ, but there is no detail on how this is achieved. The sound itself its clear and has had me thinking Iâve heard things outside of the music or podcasts, but itâs just been a sound coming from the earbuds. The adaptive noise-cancellation works well, and the adjustable active noise cancellation.Overall, Iâd recommend these earbuds in a heartbeat to anyone looking to upgrade their old earbuds. Definitely an upgrade from previous generations from Samsung and look forward to smaller improvements made with new software releases in the future.
The Samsung Buds Pro 3 are simply outstanding earbuds by any measure.Right out of the box, the unique design of the case catches the eye. As with every design choice Samsung has made with the new Buds Pro 3, it's not just for show, allowing you to immediately check that both Buds are safely in the case. The Buds are nestled securely in the case by strong magnets and taking them in and out is easy enough. The Buds themselves have a long led along the their spine that make finding a dropped earbud in a dark space incredibly simple. There are a few key features of earbuds that I prioritise and the Buds 3 Pro are outstanding across them all.Fit and comfort - these Buds are very easy to obtain a seal thanks to the oval ear tips in three different sizes. The weight of the earbuds keep them nicely secured in ear, while remaining comfortable for hours on end.Call quality - the introduction of a new stem design has allowed Samsung to radically improve call quality compared to previous generations, and these Buds are among the best on the market for call quality, including voice isolation and clarity.Sound quality - using a dual speaker solution providing a dedicated woofer for optimal low end, the sound signature of these Buds is outstanding straight out of the box. The new setup also allows them to adapt effectively to the different sound modes offered by the dedicated app.Noise cancelling - Yet again I have been blown away by the noise cancelling of these Buds. On a plane, train or bus they are fantastic at cancelling out the low end rumble of the engine. In an office they're less effective as they're not well suited for cancelling voices and other higher pitch noises like doors, keyboards etc.Overall I'm very happy with the Buds Pro 3. By any measure that's important to me, they are a cut above the rest. If there was a way to find the case when they're stored away, or find my phone when I have the case, they would be flawless!
Having now used the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro for 24hrs, I am providing my initial thoughts on this product and will be sure to update if i find anything changes.I have previously owned a few different iterations of Samsung Galaxy Buds and Buds Pros and have come from the Galaxy Buds2 Pro's which I have used for 2 years since they launched. I was initially very hesitant to see Samsung using a completely new design for them in the Buds3 Pro and was not sure about upgrading however I have to say I am truly glad I did. These earphones have improved on all the features i have come to love previously. The ANC is much more powerful than before and truly blocks out most sounds and also has controls for how much noise you want to block out. The ANC is much more powerful than before and truly blocks out most sounds and also has controls for how much noise you want to block out. I have found the adaptive sound mode the best for my personal use and keep the voice detect and siren detect on so the Buds switch automatically if i need to be alerted to something or someone starts talking to me. These buds also have a new voice command feature which you can use by simply saying basic commands without having to touch the Buds, i have found myself using this to quickly change the volume or play the next song but imagine it would be especially useful if working out.The design has also changed this generation since they have an all new stem design, this helps dramatically improve the call quality of others being able to hear you thanks to the microphones being closer to your mouth. I was also initially concerned about switching from tapping on side of the previous generation to the new pinch/swipe controls found on the Buds3 Pro, however found myself quickly adjusting to this. Once i found exactly where and how to swipe/pinch i found this comtrol system much more intuitive and easier to use. The Buds3 Pro also features new blade lights on the side which you can turn on or off depending your preference.Additionally the new design of the case looks so much more premium and uses a magnet to keep the lid closed and also also magnets to keep the buds in the case. This helps ensure even if you accidentally drop the case the Buds will stay secure in the case. Another welcome addition is a new pairing button on the bottom of the case meaning you can easily pair with any bluetooth device.I would highly recommend these to both customers who are considering upgrading their existing wireless earphones and to those who are completely new to wireless earphones as the Buds3 Pro are super premium and easy to use.
