I bought this projector with the deal of crystal screen included. The projector itself has a weird juddering ghosting of fast panning images. Also I recently added a 4K disc player to view movies. The internal speakers can’t seem to handle the audio information from the 4K discs and the sound cuts out when there is gunfire or Explosions, even if the volume is set low on the projector. I even purchased a New 4K player thinking that this was the issue, no it’s the projector. I have tried multiple hdmi cables and adjusted all possible audio settings on both the projector and the 4K player, but no solution yet. Considering this is a high end projector, there are now a few issues that have given me Buyer remorse. No 3D capacity, screen juddder and now the audio issue. ... MoreI bought this projector with the deal of crystal screen included. The projector itself has a weird juddering ghosting of fast panning images. Brought this laser projector on sale to replace an old LED projector. Totally pleased with the purchase. The image quality is excellent, even without a screen. Keeping the projector ~40cm from the wall will give a 120" image. 4K image quality is impressive, with sufficient brightness and accurate colour reproduction. Compared to my 75" QLED TV, the projector gives a huge and immersive viewing experience. Although the inbuilt speakers produce decent sound, you may need a good soundbar to match the large image format. I have combined this with a Samsung Q990b sound bar, which takes movie watching to the next level. Initial setup is not too difficult, but you may need to make some fine adjustments to get the image without any geometrical distortion. i.e. if you want to ... MoreBrought this laser projector on sale to replace an old LED projector. The projector comes fully loaded- WiFi, TV tuner, 2 HDMI ports, ARC port and major streaming apps. It works with Google, Alexa and Bixby. The Premiere offers a dramatic home cinema experience that will make you feel like you're in a theatre. In summary, this is an excellent all-in-one solution that can provide a home cinema experience right out of the box with an easy setup. Really worth the money. Strongly recommend.(NB: Those who are purchasing a projector for the first time- you need a dark room to get a good image quality, period. A projector will not replace your TV for daytime watching in a brightly lit room, even if you have an ALR screen, which costs more than one grand)

Faulty Projector/remote received. No Value for money for a tripe laser 4K projector with premium pricing. Still waiting to get it sorted from Samsung. Never recommend , the basic remote is not even pairing to its own projector to futher set it up. Hence not been able to find how it works yet. Such a poor technology and service from Samsung!

This projector is good. For the user who wrote that the black level is not that good, just trying to help set the Gama in the settings menu level to -5 and decrease sharpness and keep contrast to 26 or 30. It took me while to understand the settings.Since this projector does pixel shift I wish it has an option not to display at 4k. This would mean that 1080p content will show without upscaling to 4k may be in future software updates they have a option not to pixel shift.

Will continue to use because of sunk cost, but will replace when I can with a competitor product.
I had really high expectations from this projector - and rightfully so, it cost an arm and a leg! Set up was easy enough and the picture quality was a big step up from my old (and much cheaper) 1080p projector. But, and it's a big but, the contrast/black levels are extremely poor. And I know projectors aren't ever gonna be like OLED TVs in that department, but this projector's understanding of black is washed out grey at best. I think for the price, it could've been MUCH better. So I'm not sure if I could recommend this. (If it was half the price, then maybe). And a big issue I experienced with this one is the rainbow effect. My old cheap projector had no such issues, but it's definitely quite an issue with The Premiere. It's worse if you move your eyes while ... MoreI had really high expectations from this projector - and rightfully so, it cost an arm and a leg! My old cheap projector had no such issues, but it's definitely quite an issue with The Premiere. It's worse if you move your eyes while watching something (like a normal human would). I'm tempted to return this, but I hear Samsung can be quite difficult to deal with when it comes to returns, and I'm not sure I have the energy. We'll see.So all in all, I would say there are better ones UST projectors out there. If you catch this on an amazing sale, like half price or more, then maybe go for it cause then you might have lower expectations than I did.
The product was purchased from Goodguys in January 2022, and it stopped working in November 2022. The Goodguys Ipswich customer service representative told me there was no option for a refund or replacement for this product. I gave it there for repair on December 2nd and it has not been returned even after a month. All the school holidays and World Cup are gone without TV. This is too bad to spend over 5000 dollars on a product and have it broken within 10 months. One year warranty from Samsung really means its life.

It is also much larger, wider and heavier than I expected but to be fair the weight is due to the high quality construction. It's very similar to the first VCRs in terms of size and weight. (Remember those?)Performance-wise, it overdelivers far above its listed specs. Despite listing a max 120" projection size, I am projecting a full 147" picture onto a plain white wall without use of a projection screenwith absolutely no issues with clarity, sharpness, color, or focus. The picture is perfectly rectangular and focus is consistent and sharp even all the way out to the edges. The picture is bright enough in Dynamic mode to be visible even with full ambient lighting from both a chandelier and a floor lamp AND natural sunlight coming in through a window. Naturally this washes out the picture a bit but it's still quite watchable even without a special light rejecting screen. Of course, turning out the lights and closing the blinds brings out much more brightness, color and contrast for a richer picture. Still, absolutely no need to turn out all the lights if you don't want to.The sound from the forward facing 2.2 speakers is loud and clear and packs a surprisingly good amount of bass. The sound quality is far better than I've encountered on any smart television. The projector is a full smart TV replacement and has both a standard antenna cable and 3 HDMI inputs for cable boxes. The HDMI 1 port is E-ARC capable for console, PC and Blu-Ray player users. It has full smart TV capabilities and uses the same Tizen OS that Samsung's TVs use and offers the most popular smart apps. The settings user interface is also identical with projector specific controls. Keystone and focus are fully digitally controlled. For techheads, you have full control over the color gamuts the projector can use.The biggest challenge new users will have is setting up the projection properly. This requires physically manipulating the height the projector sits at, how close it is to the wall/screen, changing its left/right angles, pushing the rear legs up vertically to even the image out, and then digital changing the keystone and focus if necessary. It is not always clear whether a physical change or a digital one is needed to fix an issue with image. It took an hour's worth of experimentation to figure things out and sometimes involved literally adjusting the projector's position by mere millimeters. The end result is very much worth the effort, though. My only issue is that I feel the adjustable back legs could be much longer than they actually are.Okay, maybe the second biggest challenge. The actual biggest challenge will be the price. It's quite a bit higher than most high-end TVs and even some other competing UST projectors. That said, it bests the other USTs with its smart TV capabilities and doesn't require a separate streaming device and delivers a far larger picture than even the most expensive TVs currently available with just one exception: Samsung's own micro-LED driven The Wall modular panel TV.This is a fabulous device that has made me into a projector convert. There is absolutely no way I am going back to a regular TV ever again.
Bought this 2 months ago and was apprehensive to go from smart TV to short throw projector.BUT - after having this product I am so happy with the quality and overall experience.Got an external sound bar and woofer speaker which compliments the experience like you would not believe. I found the customised settings fantastic for setting up the perfect colour balance and against an off white WALL the picture is ridiculous. Next couple of weeks the full cinema drop down screen will be installed and I could not be more..... "is it there yet"!

Mines sat in a box with an 85” TV sat on it!.
