It’s big and well made.But it’s a big empty space with one small tray, tools are treated like washing when you pick it up.Be great if there were other trays that could set inside, I made my own which is not what I wanted to spend my work time doing.

Nice and sturdy -ish. You’ll get plenty in and it’s lock is neat , added a couple of padlocks to make it difficult to get in by your light fingered mates👀. An out and out thief could get in with a power tool grinder multi tool. But they would be heard ! Nice and sturdy as are most fat max. Plus it’s waterproof. Slightly pricey at £100, I’d say it’s got to be worth £80 though! Some handy features on it too. I like it , but feel it’s a little over priced at £100 although some places are charging £160-£170 so a bargain still , except I’m a bit of a tight ass 😬

The product has poor wheel protection with was off they delivered me home.I have sent a complaint to FFX ( because I was not sure if the fault was from the seller or the supplier or deliver).Luckily, easy to repair( well, but I shouldn't be fixing a new thing)I received a reply from FFX to send photos .After sending the photos, unfortunately no one answered.I have been a customer for several years and I have never had any problem but now I am a bit disappointed.

Great size, very sturdy and good price. Also. Used as a hop-up. Good piece of kit.

Fat max tool chest

Great tool chest! Easy to pull around and big enough to get all my battery operated drills, multi tool and circular saw with a couple of chargers and 8 batteries in. Only 1 criticism is that it seems that all the fat max tool boxes these days seem to come with a ridiculously small tray ! Why ??Otherwise very very good.

Good quality product

I am very pleased with my new toolchest. It is very strong, waterproof and quite well designed. The only negatives are that even without tools it is quite heavy, and with them it is super heavy. (I have had to build ramps to get it in my van) Also the internal tool holder is quite flimsy and does not hold in place when loaded with tools. Having said all this i do like the product and am considering buying a second one in the future.

Great toolbox

Great toolbox with plenty of storage space inside. Has built in lock and key and another six places for padlocks. Large strong wheels makes it easy to pull around on all surfaces. It also has a handle on back end so two people could carry it together.

Heavy Duty Trolley box

Heavy duty large trolley box. It is very durable and hence its price. Good value. I'm using it to transport heavy scuba dive equipment from truck to boat.

Large tool chest

Was bigger than expected but now filled with 10piece cordless kit. Great manoeuvrability. Amazingly sturdy - tank like construction

When I decided that I needed to downsize my tools but keep all the ones I may need in one handy spot, I researched quite a lot of toolboxes which would be big enough to hold all my tools (excluding power tools) which I could wheel to where I would be doing jobs around the house and know that I didn't have to go back to the shed to get something I had forgotten. I settled on the Promobile Fatmax 1-94-850 and I am so pleased with it, I should have bought one a long time ago. When it was delivered, the cardboard box it came in was an absolute mess and I expected to find the toolbox with some damage but it came through with flying colours and no damage at all which indicated it would take a fair bit of wear and tear. The only minor problem was that one wheel was off but a sharp tap with a mallet snapped it back onto the axle. At 113L there is plenty of space and although it is loaded with tools, it is fairly heavy but still very easy to wheel around and I still have spare space within the box if I decide to take my power saw to the job. The V shape groove on the is very handy for sawing and the saw is tucked away attached to the inside of the lid, as is my level in it's own secure attachment. Built in lock and provision for padlocks will keep thieves at bay or at least slow them down. I would have liked to have a power board included within the box but that should be easy to add on. All in all, for my intended use, I am very happy with it and I believe it would be suitable for tradies to take to a work site.
