Love it. using on acoustic, but like all effects pedals it grates on the brain if overused. Like anything with the term "class" attached to it, understated is everything, and less is acoustically more.Instructions are poor. Still trying to work out how to use the favourites switch, but no information given, and even the downloaded guide is missing lots of info. Can it store more than one patch? If so, how do you recover them? If I want to switch between three patches during the course of one song can it do it? etc.etc. Iv'e tried to suss it, but so far can't get it to do that.Easy to use if just twiddling the knobs to find new sounds, but what about live performance...no time to do that then.

Defective pedal!

What is up with Sam Ash???!I went to a store just to return a defective Keeley pedal and wound up checking out other pedals. I test this cool nice expensive reverb pedal and end up buying it - I was given a (supposedly) new pedal that came in a box. I carefully open the box today and when I simply flip the pedal over to put some velcro on the base, since I had the intention of testing it on my pedalboard, a loose button that was supposed to be firm since that is where I'm supposed to stomp on just drops! Seriously what is going on, I was already unhappy that I had to return the Keeley and now this?!?!?!

Excellent & Lush Sounding Stereo Reverb

The Strymon Bluesky is a fantastic reverb pedal with several algorithms to choose from. I used this on a direct out of my Roland TR-8 to really drench my crashes in a live set. It sounds so lush and can get extremely long decay settings. Thats pretty much all I used it for but the effect was massive and very effective. I particularly liked how I could use just a mono input and still get a stereo output. It has stereo ins as well. The Bluesky is definitely a perfect reverb for ANYONE looking for a clean and lush reverb on any instrument.

Excellent reverb

Very diverse reverb pedal. Plenty of options between each reverb setting, the modulation setting sounds really nice. Not particularly a fan of shimmer reverb but actually really like the shimmer effect on this pedal also.Overall awesome pedal! Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Pristine Reverb!

Stymon BlueSky reverberator is not a 1 trick pony. The pedal provides 3 settings (Plate/Hall/Spring) and various within those three general settings. Each type had the option for norm, Modulation, or a shimmer type effect. The Normal and Modulated settings could be subtle, but were very nice & pristine in the Plate and Hall/Room settings. In fact, the plate setting was just a pit too pristine in my opinion. The Spring setting was outstanding…. Am not generally a fan of spring Reverb’s but Strymon delivers a beautiful one! The Favorite footswitch is a great feature. It allows you to save a Preset, whenever that favorite side is turned on, then that setting will turn on when you move press the main bypass/on foot switch. EReally great pedal overall.

Review of Strymon Blue Sky Reverb
11 August 2021

Strymon pedals are very well made with sturdy enclosures and wonderfully smooth controls with excellent gradation. I also have Strymon Sunset overdrive, Flint tremolo and DiG delay. Those are 5 star boxes for me. To my ears the Blue Sky is a very good bit of kit - but on this occasion is it worth the extra ÂŁ80 or so above reverb pedals around the ÂŁ200 point? Ultimately that is for the individual's judgement. I am happy with the Blue Sky, it is just missing something that I can't put my finger on.

Review of Strymon Blue Sky Reverberator Reverb Pedal

A beautiful pedal, a little pricy (the most expensive petal I have bought to date)!... but really worth having, specially if you're trying to reproduce the David Gilmour style of sound. I haven't yet had the time to explore the all range (a little engrossed with Pink Floyd at the moment), however the controls a very responsive. I have only just used it with a valve amp (Vox AC10) and I'm yet to try it on my 35amp Peavy backstage. The price held me back for 6 months but I'm glad I own one now.

Strymon DIG V1.my first Strymon pedal and I must say, it goes way beyond your typical digital delay without being overtly complex to operate .Sounds great through the front of an ampAnd very easy to dial in top notch sounds that sit very well with other pedals.5 stars.

Truly Fantastic!
29 April 2021

I don't consider myself much of a reverb user when it comes to guitar tones, but when I acquired a Blackface Fender Bandmaster, I felt that I was sorely missing some reverb to get that classic Blackface tone. So I went looking for that classic long-spring Twin Reverb sort of sound. My local Sam Ash only had the Blue Sky and a Boss RV-6 in my price range, so I tried both of them; the Boss sounded okay, but the Blue Sky sounds like a real spring reverb tank. It's bouncy and midrangey and has vibe for days, where the Boss sounded flat and boring in comparison. And that's not even getting into the phenomenal plate/modulated/shimmer sounds that are in this pedal... it's a truly fantastic reverb.
