Like all Strymon pedals, the Brigadier is a great sounding, extremely function pedal. The tone is dreamy, but not too out there. The knobs and switches give you plenty of tone shaping capability. My only knock on the pedals was that the maximum delay interval didn’t seem to be all that long, but other than that, I really liked it.

Like all Strymon pedals, the Brigadier is a great sounding, extremely function pedal. The tone is dreamy, but not too out there. The knobs and switches give you plenty of tone shaping capability. Lush sounds when the bucket starts feeding back. Tap-tempo is a nice, touch too.
Not half bad! My playing style/sense of musical aesthetic doesn't really allow for a ton of delay, but I found this pedal to be very useable, and it added nice texture to my music. Great tone, smart features, as well thought out as the other Strymon pedals that I own. Thumbs up!

Very nice pedal. Easy to adjust, even for the 2 "hidden" controls (filter and boost). I really like the filter control on this pedal - basically a tone control for the repeats. The three modes let you dial in anywhere from 40 ms delay time up to 5 seconds. I liked the modulation control when it was below 12:00. Not so much a fan of it past 12:00 as it got a bit too fast for my taste. Very clear sounding delay that is easily adjustable, with all the controls I would want on a delay. Love this delay, as long as I had the mod control below 12:00
