Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut 10ml Thermal Paste

One of the best thermal paste on the market. Cheap, Effective, and Easily Spreadable.The application process is trivial by using the spreader tool included with the paste, I used the \"Buttered Toast\" method on mine. After changing the paste for the 1st time in 5 years, there's drastic reduction in temperatures observed throughout Psensor. No more thermal throttling when the laptop is either Idle, Playing videogames (Mount and Blade Warband and Starsector) or heavy multimedia usage. I'm absolutely blown away by this little lump of grease!Definitely recommended if you're looking for an effective thermal paste at such a low price point!

Performance:excellenteven tho it looks like it doesn't lower my temp but my clock speed is consistent plus my laptop is asus tuf fx505dt and im sure people that have this or used to own it know how many flaws on this laptop and how shit this laptop is. So if someone wants to buy an asus tuf gaming laptop buy a newer one like from 2022-2024 should already overcome that issue. But still im sure if it is used on another laptop like msi or acer nitro or ROG for sure the temp will be superb

I used this between my Corsair H100 AIO water cooler and an i5 4690K. It's overclocked to 4.5GHZ and was previously using Arctic Silver 5. I read some great reviews about this Kryonaut and decided to give it a go to bring my temps down a few degrees when testing using Intel Burn Test and small FFT's in Prime 95. I was blown away with the results... Previously my max temps were 81 degrees after a few hours CPU stress testing. Using this Kryonaut and applying it with the 'credit card' method instead of a blob in the middle of the CPU, my max temps were 71 degrees! That is a truly amazing 10 degree drop in temps. I did seem to use a little more than I thought I should, but the results speak volumes. I certainly applied a lot more than I would using the size of a grain of rice in the middle of the CPU.This stuff is simply the business and will work well on my laptop CPU's, as apparently metal based thermal paste like AS5 shouldn't be applied to aluminium heat sinks, as they degrade the aluminium.Use this paste... you won't be disappointed with the results and worth the extra wonga

Came out of tube like semi dry plasticine , not nearly enough in the pack.

I’ve used TG Kryonaut before with 2 water cooled i7 processors averaging 45degrees while online gaming. I bought this to replace a tube I bought years ago that lasted 3 applications and just started to harden after several years of being opened.This paste came out of the tube worse than that. whilst the packet was the same size as the last one there was less than 2 applications in it and It peeled off the processor whenever I tried to spread it. The much smaller TG tube I got free in 2020 with another waterblock worked fine and still had leftovers.

I upgraded my Ryzn 5 3600 from the included Wraith Stealth cooler with pre-applied thermal paste to a Wraith Spire with Kryonaut, and my machine is running 5 to 15 degrees C cooler under just about all conditions. 30 more watts of TDP rating on the cooler and what is reputed to be the best thermal grease on the market really did the job. Thermal Grizzly recommends the manual spread method of application; you don't put a dollop or a line in the middle of the IHS and hope it gets squished out evenly by the heat sink mounting pressure; it comes with a little spatula to spread it out with. I found that the compound spread well when pre-heated. Since the application process is unusual for this paste, maybe an illustrated guide on the Thermal Grizzly website with some pictures of correctly applied paste or a short video would be a good idea.

Review of THERMAL GRIZZLY Kryonaut Thermal Grease

Brilliant Stuff and cheap. You can justify buying high end thermal paste for 1-10€ price difference. Recently applied new paste onto my Ryzen 7 3700x and it performs very well with the cooler master cpu cooler I have (60oc in a warm room with the fire on playing GTAIV). Going to get more for the custom water cooling setup I have planned. Would recommend the bigger tube for this as you can use it for re applying in the future. It is a no brainer when doing the regular clean of a pc.

I'm a frequent user of Arctic Silver 5, which is a superb performer in the smallest syringes that I / we usually buy and great for pretty much any CPU solution. I STILL recommend it too as it's still much, MUCH better value for money than Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut. However, two things make Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut irresistible: - 1. Even better heat transfer meaning drops of up to 10 Celsius are possible, depending on the cooling setup and case breathing, of course. 2. The second point is a big one for me as graphics card manufacturers often advertise cards as "quiet" when what is actually happening is that your GPU is 'quietly' cooking itself to an early grave! [N.B. This is why I often recommend installing MSi Afterburner for Nvidia cards as it monitors your card temp and usually allows you to control the fan speed as you like.] So, with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, you can 'pop the lid' off your graphics card and do it the same favour as your CPU with similar results and no risk of shorting SMCs (surface mounted components). E.G. My GTX 980 Ti seemed to be running pretty hot so I applied Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut to the GPU on that (leaving everything else alone apart from a little cleaning) and reduced the temp by 10-15c on average. So. in summary, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is VERY expensive compared to Arctic Silver 5 and other popular pastes. But, after careful comparison, the price for 5.5grams of it makes it much cheaper. If you don't mind the price, just buy it! It's fabulous at what it does! P.S. DO follow the application instructions for ALL pastes, which change depending on your CPU!
