At first spray on the card, you get hit with airy, fizzy florals and a fuzzy heightened version of natural peach. It is not like Lost Cherry, which has a density and thick syrupy depth to it. This stays pretty natural in the world of peach. There is a bit of a “gumball†candy slant to it as well. Don’t think of it as bready or pastry, because I don’t think it ever goes there. Bitter also doesn’t pop to my mind right away. It is more tart or tangy.Right underneath that, I get an unripened green note. It if you bit the peach a day early and its not quite ready. It is almost dewey, maybe some kind of verbena? It isn’t taken over the peach, and still supports it in a realistic way. There still isn’t any stickiness to this scent that you may associate with ... There still isn’t any stickiness to this scent that you may associate with peach. It does a good job at distancing itself from its colorful counterpart in Lost Cherry.I pick up a little citrus enhancement to the peach too, but not a fresher note like a neroli or lemons/limes. It could be a tangerine or a blood orange, something a bit on the sweeter side that takes precedent over the sweetness of the peach. The citrus would slightly over take it on a bar graph if you really lock in on it, but that is temporary. At this point in its development, the closest thing I have to compare it to is a Mugler limited release. I believe it was Angel Croisierre or however TF you spell it. It isn’t a dense or patchouli centric as that scent, but it’s not a bad headspace to start in to get the idea.As it dries , I start to pick up an almond note. Don’t think of amaretto or any confectionary version of it, but a real almond note slightly smoothed and sweetened. After about 5 minutes Ive lost the verdant note, and the florals have mostly subsided. There is a bit of green that never goes away, but kinds of acts as an aura or halo around the whole composition that stops it from ever getting too cloying. Now, I kind of run into a plasticine note that I cant name. Ive only ever smelled it in Frapins Speakeasy, and even then in the middle to bottom note drydown. They are known for their boozy scents, so it leads me to believe that Bitter Peach may be less about a peach being bitter, but about using peach bitters. Looking at it from this angle makes the name work for me.Here is where I switch to how it works on my skin, because it is RADICALLY different from its drying down on the card at this point. On me it is much warmer and smoother. There is also a slight but noticeable pineapple note I didn’t pick up before. It also cozies up into a vanilla and ambery woods, maybe a cashemerey wood vibe. On the skin its more pleasant. It may also seem odd to say it right after I mention the pineapple, but there is almost a crème de cocao note way down in it. Like and orange and peach crème that would come out of the center of a Godiva chocolate, but not the chocolate itself. That’s about as professional as my nose gets with the note breakdown, especially note having any reference guide. If 1 is a feminine scent and 10 is masculine, Bitter Peach hits at a 3.4-3.6 for me, but no one should really have a problem wearing it if they want. The bad news is the projection and sillage on this are abysmal. I put on 4 sprays and within 15 minutes hung out with a few people who love scent, and not a person knew I was wearing anything. I had to take my arm to them to pick it up. Wearing it the rest of the day I got no feedback other than asking people to actually smell me. A positive note is the longevity. Despite turning into a skin scent rather quickly, it does stay on for 5-6 hours. Im a big fan of Tom Ford scents. Was as hype about this one as anyone else, and I think that’s where you have to slow down. It’s a good scent, and I give it a positive review at the end of the day. Go into in with high hopes and I think it could hurt you a bit. Treat it as a normal scent and youll like it. Now, if it comes in at that $340 price point… we will just hope it wears a little better on most of you than it does me

Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach is a unique fragrance. Upon first spraying it, the scent is extremely powerful. To be completely honest, the initial smell is not my favorite; it almost has a chemical smell. Thankfully, just after a few seconds of dry time, the perfume completely changes. Bitter Peach is a sweet and spicy scent, making it perfect for the cooler months. I was afraid that it would be too mature of a scent for me, but it absolutely was not. I will say, I was expecting more of an obvious peach scent, but it really is subtle. Had I not know the name of the perfume, I might not have picked up on the peach notes. Bitter Peach is definitely a grown up take on fruity fragrances. Although it did not completely fade by the end of the day, it certainly was not as strong as it was within the first hour or two of spraying it. There’s always the solution of spraying more perfume to begin with or reapplying, but for a luxury fragrance, that should not be necessary.

I was wildly excited to have an opportunity to edit Tom Ford's Bitter Peach eau de parfum. I recieved this product free for the purpose of review. The fragrance was impeccably wrapped in black tissue embossed with the Tom Ford brand name. The orange box opens from the top revealing an upright pretty, orange, glass bottle with a creamy, orange effect to the glass. It's really beautiful. It would be a very nice gift for anyone. Billed as a unisex fragrance, Bitter Peach has notes ofCardamom, Peach, Blood Orange, Sandalwood, and Patchouli Leaf. This scent is perfect for fall in my humble opinion but is suitable for day and evening wear year round. This charismatic fragrance was introduced in 2020 and still remains a top seller. This scent is perfect for fall in my humble opinion but is suitable for day and evening wear year round. This charismatic fragrance was introduced in 2020 and still remains a top seller. The head notes are Cardamom, Blood Orange, Peach and Heliotrope. I get a slight burst of warmth from the cardamom which envelopes a quick, short-lived citrus "bite" from the orange. IF the peach is present here, it's so faint that it was gone in a millisecond. To me the heliotrope sadly was non-existent. The heart notes of amber-liquor and jasmine are ethereal. There and then gone too soon, dissolving into the heavy handed foot note of patchouli leaf. Distant tendrils of sandalwood and vanilla vanish into the wind. Just when you sense them, only a vague memory remains as they are forgotten. Unfortunately for me I couldn't pick up any other notes after the patchouli. Maybe, just maybe a bit of vetiver? On the dry down I yearned for just the slightest touch of cashmeran, benzoin, or labdanum but, my olfactory senses were denied all of even the most miniscule of molecules from any of these bygone notes. Such a shame really. Bitter Peach has a fair sillage. The scent lasted about 4 hours on me. I expected it would last much longer actually as I feel it should, considering the price per ounce. It's very disappointing that the patchouli ruined the experience for me because I truly wanted to love this fragrance. If only there had been a lighter touch of the patchouli and a bit more of the cashmeran and benzoin on the dry down. Perhaps even an encoré from the vanilla? Then this would have been the perfect scent for me. Anyway, even though it didn't quite suit me, I would recommend it to others. Especially men, as I felt it leaned more towards the masculine. These opinions are my own so I hope I haven't discouraged any reader from trying this eau de parfum if they wish to. All fragrance products are purely preference and smell different to an on everyone. As for this perfume, Just make sure you really love patchouli. Thanks for reading.#influenster #tomfordbeauty@influenster @TomFordBeauty
Bitter Peach works so nicely with my body chemistry. I didn't think I'd like it but turns out I absolutely love it! In the opening, I get that juicy peach and florals. I miss the frangipani note in Cassili, but love how the patchouli rounds this one out instead and that ever so slightly boozy cognac note that comes through. As it was drying down it started getting a tiny bit more powdery than Cassili, but not overwhelmingly so (I enjoyed it!) and then I started to get more of that sandalwood and started getting nervous I was going down the same path as before, but before that note came through too heady, I got more of the sweetness to round it out and balance it. It's stunning, it's sophisticated, and although the perfect spring and fall scent, one could definitely wear this year round. The opening leans maybe a tiny bit more feminine but I do believe this is truly a unisex fragrance. This was sent to me by influenster for my honest review.
A veritable peach, the peach fragrance runs through the beginning and the end, accompanied by a long-lasting fragrance, which has been entangled until the end. Interestingly, peaches change at various stages. When it is first stimulated on the skin, it is obviously sweet and sour. This scent took a while for me to really come up with a review on because it is very different from a lot of the scents I own. I do have other Tom Ford scents but most of the ones I have are lighter ones as opposed to this one, which is pretty strong. I don’t smell a ton of peach in the scent, which is funny because the name markets it as “peach”. When you first spray it on, it is very overwhelming because of how strong it comes on, however if you let it sit for a little the scent tones down a bit and you’re left with this sweet but musky and warm scent that leans heavily on the patchouli side. The scent feels very mature to me and is not something I would wear as an everyday perfume but rather one for special occasions or during summer nights out to dinner as it ... It does last the whole day and then some, which is always a pro in my opinion with perfumes because you want something that sticks and doesn’t fade. I did grow to like this more than I thought when I first sprayed it, however because it’s a very unique scent in my opinion I would recommend trying it before you buy it since Tom ford tends to be on the pricier side.
I fell in love with Bitter Peach after receiving a sample of the Tom Ford original, then went looking for a dupe when I saw the price tag. The scent is spot-on for the original - super unique, subtly fruity, a little powdery, quite sweet, but with a musky air about it. THIS SCENT IS NOT FOR EVERYONE! It's definitely something you will love or not get at all. To me, it felt very vaguely nostalgic. It conjured up memories of playing with scented dolls in the 80's, finding a fancy old empty bottle of Avon perfume shaped like a lady, kissing a high school crush lying on the driveway still radiating the day's warmth on a late summer night. It feels provocative.I love the throw of Oil Perfumery's products - someone sitting right next to you will smell it, but you're not ... Appropriate for office settings, airplanes, etc where you want to smell good but be considerate of people who are sensitive to scents.Longevity is just right - I often put it on in the evening after a shower and can smell just a slight whiff of it close up on my skin the next morning.
I received this product complimentary to review. Having never tried Tom Ford perfumes before, I went into this without any expectations or other scents to compare to. On the first smell, Bitter Peach has a amber fruity scent that is sweet and warm. There are definitely notes of peach and blood orange. Keep in mind this fragrance is very intense, it?s not a subtle scent. After the initial spray, there are woody amber tones that linger.Personally I think it?s a more mature and sensual type of fragrance. Despite being named Bitter Peach, there is absolutely no bitter scent. One light spray will last for the whole day, and a little goes a long way (which is great because of the hefty price). This is a really particular fragrance and might not be for everyone. I would not consider this an everyday scent due to its intensity, but some might. Overall, it?s a unique perfume and has given me a good idea of what Tom Ford fragrances are like.
I honestly have never owned a Tom Ford scent, but after this one - I will likely be owning more. I received this via influenster and Tom Ford to test out, but my opinions are ALWAYS my own! As soon as I put this fragrance on to test out, I was immediately taken back in time to my youth, when my mother worked in a boutique that smelled, well, exactly like this scent. I remember the store had lots of high-end toiletries and home fragrances that smelled just like this. Maybe that seems fantastic to you, maybe not. But, in either case, you owe it to yourself to test this fragrance out because I'm sure it will surprise you. I think it is, in fact, the "candied peach" that sparks my childhood memories. This is a fantastic fall/winter scent. However, I am wearing it in over 100-degree weather and loving every second of it! This bottle will have lasting power, as a little goes a long way and lasts all day. LOVE THAT! Now, I really need to acquire the Lost Cherry and the Orchid!
