Took this on holiday to a caravan for the first time and it did help darken the room a lot. The suckers arent the best and if not using it full size it does sit awkwardly against the window letting in more light than needed.

This curtain is great for making any room dark enough for my little to sleep and I love the convenience of being able to take it with me anywhere. There are 2 reasons why I did not give this 5 stars though. 1) If the suction cups are misshapen even the slightest they will not stick, so it took me some time to put up the curtain as certain cups just would not stick. 2) Trying to get the curtain back into the carry case for traveling is difficult and requires the curtain to be folded in just the right way to get it to fit. Overall I would recommend this blackout curtain more than others as it actually covers the light from entering the room.

As with any suction cups, the stick can take awhile to get and so it can be time consuming to put up. Can also be frustrating, but eventually they do hold. Sometimes needs a little water. Just plan ahead and set it up way before nap time and you’ll be good!

all windows especially not longer windows and its not completely blackout. Light comes in on the sides. If they made this longer vertically I think it would be a nice option for vacation, but most windows arn't super square... i'd pass and not recommend it.
Used this while traveling for the holidays. Baby’s room at home is pretty dark and he usually sleeps til around 9am. Anytime we stay anywhere else it’s too bright too early and he gets up at 7 or earlier and I can’t deal. Put these blinds up in his room at my parent’s house. They were so simple to figure out and worked perfectly. Suction cups held for the 3 days we were there. I didn’t really need to use all the Velcro to close all the gaps, but if you need total darkness the Velcro definitely will help you do that. Will for sure be keeping this in the suitcase for every time we travel.

These were a good price compared to other sellers I've seen on the internet. They appear to be more accurate than the thermostat on the central heating system, which is handy as my husband is disabled and needs a fairly stable temperature to remain comfortable, and he can use the heating remote control to keep things at the right level.
On receiving these I found that they were only the Regular size of 130 x 99 cm - and NOT the Large size of 130 x 198 cm as per the item’s description. Aldi I am very unimpressed with your mistake on this and shall be returning asap - especially as Amazon sell the regular for £14.
I ordered this because it said it fits any window up to 130x198cm, but this is incorrect. It is only 130x99cm wide. They have specified this in the dimensions but I didn't see this bit I only saw the bit in the Features section of the description. This isn't suitable and I'll have to faff about returning it.
