These are slow!! I wanted to pick up a fast gravel tire and these make me feel like I am bogged down in sand the whole ride:(. On the up side they are quite bulletproof. Don't buy these if you plan on a race or fast group gravel.

I had a set of wire bead Saguaros and they lasted for ever. When the time came to replace, I was torn between several sets. I knew how reliable the Saguaro's were so I decided to stay with them, but got the tubeless ready version this time around. These are not necessarily high volume tires, but at 240 lbs without gear, I can use all the help I can get in the speed department. This tire looks kind of ugly, but it is strong, firm, and corners great. I ride hard pack, mud, gravel, even pavement on it. I have a Barzo on the back that I put on the same time and half its tread is gone, while the Saguero shows very little wear.
