It’s a no from me. I love a tuna mornay, this 375g mornay can be found in the freezer. After heating it in the microwave it was very sloppy and much too runny, not surprising as the first ingredient is water. There was hardly any tuna in it, only 9. 5% and the sauce was not that pleasant with a starchy mouth feel. The dish itself is pretty tasteless. On the plus side this is cheap, quick and convenient meal which could be handy to have on standby in the freezer. It is made in Australia and has a health star rating of 3. 5. It is a clear no from me.

Lacks substance and flavour. Soft pasta with small chunks of tuna covered in a loose cream sauce. Lacks protein, more chunky tuna would be great. A bland tasting, watery sauce that needs more spice to give it depth. The sauce doesn’t cling to the pasta as it’s far too watery, definitely needs thickening. The sauce is supposed to coat the pasta and hold the flavour. A tweak of the recipe would make this a great tasting, value convenience product. I would not purchase again, unless the recipe was improved.

Needs more tuna & pasta. I love pretty much anything tuna and was excited to get this. I was a bit disappointed after heating it with the amount (or lack of I should say) of tuna and pasta itself. I got mostly a watered down milky sauce that lacked the flavouring of any tuna or anything else really. I would only buy again if on clearance & maybe on special and I would need to add from another can of tuna to satisfy me. I know Woolies can do better with this!

Not what you expect. After trying other Woolies ready meals, i was really disappointed when trying this. Visually, it wasn't the best looking however most frozen meals are not that appealing. Bland and watery is probably the most accurate way to describe this. I'm unsure if I just got a bad batch but there was limited tuna (without any flavour) and alot of what I can only describe as a milky white juice, as it was not thick enough to be considered sauce and the pasta itself was rather gluggy. Would not buy again.
Simple light easy meal. This is a basic, quick and light meal. Not for big eaters, as it certainly wouldn't satisfy. It is quite simple in flavour, so if you need something light on the stomach, this would work; also for fussy eaters, this could be a step to adding something different. Great option for a palate not wanting to explore outside the box, but keeping things simple. It does have a large sauce to solid (pasta, vege, tuna) ratio, so adding some extra plain pasta, rice, vege etc may assist this if wanting a larger meal.
Not the best frozen meal. The picture on the front looked appealing and colourful to catch the eye. The price point also seemed quite good. My teenage son tried this product and was unimpressed. His review was “this product was underwhelming and tasted pretty average”. It looked like there wasn’t much in the way of tuna in there and it was watery. This isn’t something we would buy again.
Enjoyed this meal. I buy meals in this range at times but mostly Chicken Satay. Thanks to Bunch this is about the 3rd or 4th sample that has allowed me to try some different flavours that I might not have bought and tried. ✅TEXTURE. As it says on the box- a creamy sauce with pasta and vegies. Pasta cooked just right for me. The sauce was a bit runny at first but thickened a little on cooling. Maybe a bit too much sauce and not enough of the rest though. ✅ TASTE. I did enjoy it. It didn't seem too salty. I could taste the tuna even though I couldn't really see it. The peas and corn were a tasty addition. ✅VALUE. These meals started off at $3 but crawled up to $4 this year. Recently there have been two price drops and are now $3. 65. The meal was big enough for me so could see this as a quick lunch for some adults or serving two young children. ✅BUY AGAIN? Yes I will buy again. I always keep a couple of frozen meals in the freezer for convenience or a break from the home cooking so will definitely add this variety to my menu.
Cheap and Convenient. Picked this up this morning and we shared for lunch today on sourdough. We were both pleasantly surprised. For us the flavour was fine, more than enough for two for lunch and only $3. 75. Enough, tuna and pasta and plenty of sauce. For a single person, we felt this product would be more than suitable for a meal. We probably wouldn’t purchase again for ourselves, but as I said for a single person, I would definitely recommend.
Fairly unappealing. This wasn’t great. There is too much sauce in comparison to pasta. The tuna doesn’t taste nice. There is a weight watchers version of this frozen meal that is much nicer, but also double the price. If there was 1/3 less sauce and 1/3 more pasta it would be much better. The quality of the tuna could be improved. Made in Australia is an advantage and the regular price is good. I am unlikely to buy this as it doesn’t appeal to me.
Average Tuna Meal. I usually enjoy eating the Woolworth's meals, but it seemed like it was trying to be like the McCain Tuna Mornay. I prefer the McCain Tuna Mornay. It is a good price with a 3. 5 star ratingEveryone in my household said that it smelt like fish pie, but it wasn't to my noses liking. I am grateful that I did get to try it. The taste was bland and watery. If you do choose to purchase this meal, you can add some winter vegies and white sauce/ cheese sauce with a hint of pepper to give it a bit more kick.
