Woolworths Cocoa Powder 375g

New packaging. The first thing that was noticeable was the new packaging. It's a good move as it eliminates the cardboard box it used to come in. It also takes less room to transport and store which is another environmental saving. The colours and print are the same which made it easily recognizable. It is not sold in a resealable packet which is one product that it might be handy to have. However, it's just as easy to transfer it into the dedicated plastic container. This product is just as good as the branded ones.

Great for Drinking and baking. I didn’t know you had this product. It was hard to find. I’m finding that my woollies has a lot of the woollies products on bottom shelf. This is good for both cooking and drinking. It has great flavour and good for baking nice sweetness. Really good that you can reseal it after use.

Delicious alternative to brand names. I used this in a fudge slice and it was just as good as other brands I have used. The flavour was good and the powder mixed in well. The packaging is resealable although the packet I had ripped slightly and I wasn't confident that it was completely sealed. I decanted it into a jar and the problem was solved. At $4 for 375g it's very reasonably priced and I would consider buying the product again.

Good cheap alternative. Good cocoa. I use it in baking a lot and can only tell the difference in certain dishes. I would easily substitute for a cost effective alternative. Although the packaging is so painful. Anyone who bakes knows how annoying cocoa is when opened all over your kitchen, and to store. That's why I stick to nestlè, which comes in a tin; which also is more sustainable.

Not my favourite cocoa powder. I remember seeing this being sold​ in individual boxes several months ago, and at one stage they were reduced to $1 a box even though they had a long expiry date until 2026, but I didn't buy it as I only use Dutch cocoa powder. Now I know why it was greatly reduced, WW was getting rid of the cardboards and putting them in bags, maybe this is better for WW as it will save them a lot of storage space but I'm not sure if the consumers like them in bags. This product comes in a resealable bag which is quite handy, but personally I prefer them in a box so that it can stand up properly in my pantry. There was a nice a chocolatey smell in the kitchen while being baked in the oven but it stopped there. There was no chocolatey taste in the cake that I was expecting especially that I've put so much chocolate powder in it. The cake was still very nice but just lacked the nice rich chocolate that Dutch cocoa powder has. It's very clear who the winner is.

Woolworths Cocoa Powder 375g. Not a freebie. Been buying this product for years. Makes really nice cakes, hot chocolate drinks or chocolate custard. Lots cheaper than named brands with little difference in quality. Highly recommend and great value. 5/5 product from me.

Good taste. The taste of the Cocoa is very nice. I used it to make a chocolate cake (hubby's favourite) and hot chocolate which hubby and I dunk the Savoiardi biscuits that I also buy from Woolworths in. I must admit I am not a fan of the resealable bag, I transfer into a more sealable container. Thanks so much Bunch!

Great flavour and a good price. I used this to make a chocolate cake. I usually stick to cadbury cocoa as I found other brands didn't have a good chocolate flavour.. but I was pleasantly surprised. And at a great price compared to other brands. Now that I've tried it, will purchase in the future for all my baking needs

Although the sodium level has increased from 18g per 100gm to 30g per 100gm. Is there any thing that could be done to reduce this please food developers ?The Rainforest Alliance still exists & hopefully is true on the ground .... Thumbs up for the resealable bag which is super convenient and less mess to get the cocoa out of the plastic bag but as far as recycling goes this has to be binned whereas the cardboard box could be put in the fire. It is packed in Australia from imported ingredients. Pantry staple! I always have this cocoa powder in my pantry. I love using it for chocolate cakes and to also add into a buttercream icing. It tastes great and is really fine powder as well, so you don't find this creates a grainy texture at all. Definitely always going to be purchasing this product.
