Not bad, but I think their advertised time is a little out. My real world Test. Ambient Temp 11degrees.Settled between 29.4 and 29.3 Amps. Warm up time 4mins. 8.30 Mins to cook basic Baked Bean Jaffles. Total Amps used Approx 5.9A. Power cable gets pretty warm especially at Anderson Plug. Overall its not bad. Could be interesting to clean (sauce spillage at the internal cable entry). Will certainly be keeping it in the ute for those cool day fishing trips.

I was a little disappointed. I tried baked been jaffles and it just stewed them and bread went soft. I think you would need to leave the jaffle in the press for an extended period of time to get it nicely toasted. It is definitely not five minutes as advertised if you like a fully toasted jaffle. The power draw was between 26 -27 amps.

Heats well but doesn't toast like a jaffle machine should. Waited 15 minutes but then just pulled the food out cause cheese was melting out everywhere. Cable placement is bad too because anything that leaks out just goes down the hole and into the machine. Good for travelling but needs a rethink.

A fantastic piece of kit . There are plenty of times out camping when all you want is a simple , easy meal . Enter the Kickass sandwich maker . Warm it up and in 5 mins you have two cracking toasted sandwiches . So quick and easy .First rate quality .
Very handy bit of gear, cooks quickly for a 12v appliance. Could use more room for bigger bread and fillings. Wiring is underrated for what the unit consumes, wiring gets very hot while in use. 14awg supplied cable is only recommended for 25A max, the unit draws 32A constant. Recommend keeping an eye on the supplied cable especially if cooking multiple sets of jaffles in a row.
Great idea for a 12v product works well with small sandwich size bread slices and not too much filling used , but with larger sandwich bread slices you will need to remove crust to fit jaffle maker better.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The only improvements I see to made by kickass is to make sandwich jaffle maker better,is to make bigger and deeper and have two sizes markings in castings to fit both size sandwich squares with more fillings this would make it better A1 and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used this while away last time, the current states 30A, but I only had 17A showing direct off my lithium. It is slow to cook and you can't have thick bread. I used a spring clamp to keep it closed. We only used ham and cheese slice in our thin bread. It got the centre hot but didn't brown the toast very well. Square edges in the cooking moulding made it harder to clean too. Needs a revamp to be good.!30A would definitely be hotter and a bigger sandwich area and tension latch to hold it closed would help.!
I'll get to try this beauty out soon, surgery put a hold on any camping ideas I had.Full review soon, but what I can say is this sandwich maker is it's better built than your home sandwich maker. Its about a medium depth, full size bread, decent locking clip with a spare clip in the box! Pretty solid unit.
After the 5 min heating phase I needed to cook the sandwich for about 10 minutes. It was warm enough (not hot), cheese had melted however the bread wasn’t browned (as in the pics/video).Rather underwhelmed and could take it or leave it, disappointinglySo, 15min total and used 3%of battery charge
it was cooking when it started to get a strange smell. i checked the jaffles and they had started to crisp so i took them out a bit early. the maker still smelt like burning plastic then i pulled the plug and turned it over to see bubles in the bottom over what i assume is an element. was very disappointed
