360 S9 Ultrasonic & Lidar Dual-Eye Robot Vacuum Cleaner

The S9 is my second robovac (my first was a Eufy for my bedroom), and I have to say that I’m extremely satisfied. I put the S9 downstairs and it cleans my entire first floor. The 360 S9 does it all - it mops and vacuums. Performance-wise, the robovac has strong cleaning and impressive battery life. The robot vacuum has excellent mapping technology, supports scheduling, and can create virtual boundaries easily.I’ve had the S9 since March 2022, and it’s been very easy and low-maintenance. I make sure to empty the bin and refill the water daily. I didn’t realize how great having your floors mopped was. My home is spotless and I receive a lot of compliments when I have guests over.

Vacuum function works well. Mopping not very good, but I didn’t really expect it to perform both functions well, for the price. The noise level is good and not intrusive at all. The initial couple of uses appear to have been mainly mapping the floor plan, once that was completed I just turn it on and it cleans in an organised cleaning pattern going from room to room with little or no intervention from me. Based on my experience, the only poor issue is that it is limited by the distance it can travel from the charging unit. But overall a good unit for the price.

I’ve had this vacuum for several months now and I’m really happy with it. I struggle to keep up with housework and this makes my life easier. I let Rosie the Robot out every weekend to sweep the house and it is honestly making the house so much nicer. The mop is okay, but not brilliant. You must empty the dust bin every time, but it holds enough my usual job. To vacuum my main rooms as mapped, takes about an hour and the battery lasts enough to make it a breeze. It is also a good idea to take out the brush and manually remove hair each time as it can get clogged easily. But a very good buy that I’m very happy with.

I took the advice of another reviewer and followers only the instructions in the vacuum itself. Found the instructions to be very easy. Almost so easy that I rechecked everything before finally pressing the power button to let the vacuum on it’s way. I love the little voice on the vacuum, so cute. Also the remote is so convenient. I plan to use some Velcro to put the remote in an easily accessible area.

Bad quality, awful customer service

After 2 months the vacuum cleaner stopped mopping and water tank sensor seemed to be broken as it repeated water insufficient. I’m trying to return the item 3 months unsuccessfully, as the item is being sold by the 3rd party. Tens of emails but no resolution. I still cannot return not working vacuum cleaner

Great Vacuum

I have had a deebot 950, 360 s5, and honiture, so comparing this to the others. I like the 360 s9 the best. Honiture has a horrible app and many of the features of honiture that I bought on Amazon do not work. Deebot had so many issue and finally stopped working but I would say it has an app that you can make work. The 360 s9 has an awesome app. I have an 360 s5 and this is an improvement from that older model but both are great. Careful buying some of the other cheaper brands. The app is the most important and many just don't work. I like this model because I live in condo and the mopping feature keeps the white marble clean. 360 smart has the best app Ive used. I am impressed!!!

I am super impressed how this is much better than the major know brands in the market. Super simple to operate. The app is very user-friendly, the mapping system is awesome and cleans really good. The Quiet mode is almost noise-free. I use the quiet mode on day to day cleaning and does not distract you while it effectively vacuums and maintains the house floor clean and dust in-check. The S9 is very awesome and highly recommended!

I wanted to love it, but

Although I think that I downloaded the app on my phone correctly,, I couldn't do much with it. I couldn't schedule a cleaning, do a spot cleaning, do a quick clean, mop and vacuum or anything else that you are supposed to be able to do. And I also could not get the remote to sync with it either. It took 4 hours to do my 2,200 square foot house, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, great room, kitchen with eating area. Phone support was not available for my S9 model either and the email support was useless. I ended up returning it and buying a Roborock S6, which I was able to sync with my phone and program much easier.

Not fit for purpose

Does not operate on normal, average pile height carpets. Goes into a crazy/drunk navigation and slams into furniture. Constantly loses connection to the servers (assume located in China) so the device cannot read existing room maps and wanders off track. Official 360 representative wants me to cut the rubber strips off the roller brush to make it function on carpet but wont comment on how that will effect performance on hard surfaces or local warranty. Should have bought Roborock again. Others in Australia Pacific region (Facebook group) complain about lack of warranty support and lack of spare parts. When parts can be sourced but the delivery costs are exorbitant.

works well

The robot maps out the apartment well and does a decent job in sweeping end mopping. However, if you have a slightly high transition (usually in the bathroom) then the robot will get stuck. He gets stuck on the bathroom rug also. You need to constantly remove hair from the main brush if you have a dog at home that sheds. I have to clean this robot out everyday. It’s better than having to clean the floor but it’s still work. You cannot turn this robot upside down or water will get into the motherboard and will fry it. But it’s an overall quiet machine.
