3V Lithium Battery Duracell

I really like Duracell products. I bought the Duracell 2032 2 pack of batteries to replace the battery in my garage door opener. I had to replace it because the previous battery was dying and causing the garage to not open at times and I had to be much closer to open it. After using the new battery, I haven't had any issues. I can open the garage door from several houses down. The only thing I was annoyed about was the child proof packaging. It took me some extra time to open it and I had to use scissors. I like that it's a two pack because I have a second garage door opener that will probably need a new battery soon. I also liked the 2032 expiration date on the packaging.

My boyfriend and I spent 10 minutes trying to get into the package to remove a battery but to no avail! Of course, if I'd looked a bit closer at the front of the package, I would've seen the pair of scissors icon, followed by dashes encircling the lower battery. It was then clear to me that I would need to take scissors and cut all around the battery. Sure enough! Came right out (well, I could at least wiggle it free). The product packaging is designed so that the battery cannot just be popped out from the back cardboard packaging. This seems like it's new so that it's child-safe. It is actually easy to remove the plastic piece that wraps around the individually wrapped battery, just cut along the plastic of the battery. Battery itself is good, no problems with it. I was able to install the new battery into my car key remote. My car is the keyless type, so the remote worked seamlessly to lock/unlock the doors, and ignition has no problems! Duracell is a trusted brand.

I purchased these 2032 batteries in order to replace the batteries in my children's digital thermometer. They fit properly and gave that thermometer new life! However what I love most about these batteries is that they produce a bitter taste. This is a feature to discourage children from putting them in Their mouths. I think that this is a genius feature to keep small children safe and shows Duracell's commitment to safety. If my kids were able to figure out how to unscrew the back battery cover on their thermometer this gives me the peace of mind that they will be safer. This feature makes me love this product even more.

Duracell always offers quality batteries, they're known to last a long time. When it comes to using coin/button batteries you have to be careful because they are dangerous when swallowed by children. I like that Duracell has gone the extra step by coating these with a bitter deterrent, to hopefully discourage kids from swallowing them. They have a really strong scent, which I'm guessing is the coating. They go the extra step by making it so you have to actually cut these out, rather than just busting open the packaging. Quality battery, a little expensive for only 2.

Then I realized that this was part of the safety feature preventing little ones from getting them. Though I wasn't trying to keep the second battery in the protective packaging it stayed that way so I will be worry free when I store it in a safe location. Even if a child finds it, they still won't be able to get to the battery without scissors. I licked the battery on the + side and didn't taste anything at all and was disappointed. Then I licked the - side and the bitterness was still in my mouth 15 minutes later. it took me a few days to use this product after receiving. i used the 2032 coin battery in an electric which I have for my drag racing vehicles. i use a winch with remotes that use the 2032 coin batteries to overate the winch. i has previously been using some cheaper off name brand from Amazon. i am glad I received this job to change my usual batteries to the Duracell brand 2032 coin battery. this battery made it seem like a brand new out of the box winch. the wi ch worked excellent and did what I needed it to do a lot faster than my usual batteries. the usual batteries last about a year so I am excited to see how long these batteries last.
