Acure All Hair Types Dry Shampoo

I really like this dry shampoo! First, and most importantly, it does not have problematic ingredients (like most dry shampoos do); the ingredients are simple and safe. Second, it works pretty well. I do have to use more of it than some dry shampoos, but I've found that that's the tradeoff for using a more natural dry shampoo. Third, it smells great! It has a mild chocolate-like scent. Finally, I have very dark brown hair, and although this is not totally invisible on my hair, it's less visible than many other dry shampoos that I've tried.

I wash my hair once a week and it gets oily before wash day, so I got this hoping it could help lighten things up for a day.When I tried it I found my hair looked the same and maybe even a little white. Then i worked it in more and still same results. I chalked it up to user error. So the next week tried again with a little less to not get the white powder look and it still didn’t work for me.It just doesn’t work for my hair type. Pretty disappointed cause its a bit costly and I’d like to try something else. . But now Im out the money and have a product I wont use.My hair is thick, straight, light brown dirty blonde and oily by day 5/6.

It definitely does what it says: removes grease from hair. I have soft, straight hair and it gives me some extra volume as well.Keep in mind that since it is cream color powder, it DOES leave white residue in hair. But nothing a comb and a brush cannot fix.Normally I would section my hair and apply it on roots strand by strand. Then I would massage it in with my fingerprints to distribute evenly. And finally comb it through. Voila, my hair is fresh and volumized again.The powder is very fine which is also great.
