I have always been a fan of Aesop.Having visited Myer in Miranda pre lockdown I received some samples of facial products to try that were best suited to my skin. I have very sensitive skin so I am hesitant to wing it and buy products without testing them.The mandarin facial cream was one of the samples I tested which has been very hydrating and gives me a natural glow.So naturally I committed to purchasing the product online as a self care treat.Product came very very quickly in a neatly packaged box

This lightweight hydrator from Aesop is designed for everyday use on most skin types. I have normal/combination skin and it suits me very well - it's robust enough to stop my skin from drying out on cold days, but not heavy or cloying so it's just as suitable for use in the summer. It also doesn't make me break out, which is a small miracle in itself. It absorbs quickly and easily and smells absolutely amazing - in fact the fragrance is what keeps bringing me back to this product ahead of any others. Lastly, it pairs really well (as you would expect) with the cleansers and toners in the Aesop range - the Amazing cleanser and Bitter Orange toner are a particularly good match, especially if your skin leans towards the combination/oily side.

This stuff is amazing! Definitely my holy grail! My skin was going crazy because I went somewhere warm on holiday & returned to winter. My other moisturizer wasn't moisturizing enough. I had 2 cystic pimples, numerous little breakouts, dry skin, and cracking fragile skin.My skin is not normally that bad. I have combo skin, that just gets mild hormonal breakouts. I think the climate change freaked my skin out.This stuff helped heal the red marks after the cysts, calmed down my irritated and dry feeling skin. The next morning it was amazing how much of a difference it made to my skin. My skin felt so soft & soothed. It hasn't broken me out and I'm very acne prone!

i have a very sensitive & dry skin during winter, this is the perfect one if you're in this skin issue but want to have a go on other brands rather than those you found in drug stores. I used to get all my skincares stuff in the drug store with the sensitive skin category. First time in my life getting products in aesop. I thought is just another expensive brand claimed to be natural but adding some artificial smell. BUT...this cream has a very fresh and decent mandarin smell when I open the lid. So far no allergic problem!!!!! feels light and moisturizing on my face. Cant be more grateful than that finding a cream which is suitable for me x
Love this gentle cream, no irritation, very well absorbed. The only problem is that this nice matte finish gets spoiled by a sunscreen on the top of it. And it is not thick or soothing enough for the nighttime. A nice cream overall, maybe would be more suitable for someone in their twenties.
No frills daily moisture. Have repurchases multiple times. A little goes a long way and the subtle mandarine scent is very pleasant. Leaves skin feeling soft and moisturized but doesn't feel greasy at all. They used to sell a bigger bottle which i'm not sure if it's still available but this is a fantastic no frills facial moisturizer.
Got this as a sample and it's a lovely moisturiser. Sinks in to the skin well and smells gorgeous (as is expected with any aesop product!). Price is also reasonable compared to some other similar products out there at the moment. Only reason I didn't give this a full 5 is that it didn't wow me with any particular result.
This is the perfect moisturizer for people with dry/somewhat combination skin during winter. I’m yet to test it out during the summer months but I feel it will be still great! Hydrating and soothing with no greasy residue. My skin is left plumper, smooth and soft. Layers very well in a multi step skin routine. The smell is incredible and I adore putting it on.
My skin loves this product. It has thicker yet very light texture.I like using it during autumn/winter, when my skin gets drier and needs more moisture because of the consistency of the face cream. Love the smell, but it might not be for everybody - but don't be afraid, as i can't smell it from my face! It works nicely with spf and make-up afterwards. I also like to put a bigger amount like overnight mask.I would by it again, but I also want to try their other products. Definitely recommended.
I think this cream was just what my face needed. After my usual routine of cleaning my face, I apply this cream and it is rapidly absorved. It is not oily at all and the sense of hydrated skin stays for a long while. It was definitely worth trying. A friend of my recommended it to me and I can't be more grateful for this!
