Small pan with a diameter of 20.3 cm at the top, a bottom diameter of 14.5 cm, and a height of 4.2 cm. As the pan is uncoated, it is perfect for crispy frying. The curved inner surface makes it easy to toss and remove the food. The pan is made of a 5-layered multi-layer material. The innermost wall is made of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, which is extremely robust and very hygienic. However, the highlight of the Copper Core series is the 1.8 mm thick, continuous core of pure copper, which is surrounded on both sides by aluminum. This core ensures rapid heating with even heat distribution. Visually, this core is perfectly showcased thanks to a milling on the outside. To ensure optimal use on all types of stoves, including induction, the outermost layer is made of magnetic stainless steel. The polished outer layer is easy to clean and shines in the truest sense of the word. The handle grip made of ergonomically shaped cast stainless steel guarantees a secure and firm grip. The handle is firmly connected to the body by means of double riveting and cannot break off. The Copper Core series combines the excellent thermal conductivity of copper with the robustness of stainless steel like no other cookware. For detailed information about the manufacturer, the individual series, and other products, please visit our All-Clad brand page .

I also own a 10 piece set of Mauviel M250B cookware and I must admit that the All clad copper core pans so far cooks just as good. I then put two table spoons of butter and did an egg test and the eggs did not stick. I can’t understand how some people are having a problem with these pans. The only thing I can think of is that maybe they are not cooking at the correct temperature. I would advise these individuals to consult some you tube videos for some tips, as I found them extremely helpful.Joseph A Zebzda

Copper Core is *the* best!

There's just no comparison between the copper core skillet and any other(and I've probably had them all over the years.) Right now, I've got an All-Clad D3 12" that's a wonderful workhorse but seriously-- cooking with the copper core is effortless and everything just comes out perfect. It's a joy to use and I reach for it time and time again. Heats up quickly, retains the heat, browns, sears, cleans up easily. But those are just words and the difference is hard to explain. For the first time, I understand why people go to culinary school :) I've got a couple of other All-Clad copper core pieces but the big difference in materials and performance really shines in the skillet.

Even and quick heating, easy clean up

Needed to replace an existing, 15 year old non-stick fry pan from All-Clad due to concerns about the coating deteriorating and wanted to get out of the coated pan game entirely. Liked how the copper core line promoted efficient and even heating and easy clean up. Both have been true x10000000; less heat is needed for cooking and when cleaned shortly after cooking I've had no problem removing food residue. I'll do the hot water rinse followed by a dash of dish soap and some additional hot water and let the pan sit for a few minutes if I can't clean immediately. For reference in terms of cooking surface, a one egg omelet is easy to manage, but a two egg omelet starts to get a bit unwieldy. Super hefty and of obvious quality, here's another pan that should last decades!

Fast and even heat!
31 March 2023

I have had this pan a few days and I’m very pleased with the performance. It heats up fast and even, while preheating we tested the temperature on different areas of the pan all were within a degree. I’m use to cooking mostly on cast iron or non stick but I really wanted to upgrade to a high end professional cookware. I’ve read several reviews about how hard this pan is to clean, I have seared heavily seasoned shrimp and skin on chicken thighs. After cooking i just poured a little wine into the hot pan and made a fond sauce. The pan basically wiped clean after that! I wish it would have came with a lid like the D3 considering the price difference however I also ordered the 5qt copper core saute pan and the lid fits this pan well.

Great pan, for about 60 days
5 May 2023

I’ve unfortunately reached my max patience with all-clad non-stick pans. They are not made well and the non-stick will start peeling from the edges of the pan within 60 days. Highly advise avoiding if you actually use your pans daily. Customer service from both Williams Sonoma and ALl-Clad are a joke. They point to each other and neither will take responsibility or live up to the states warranties. Do not buy.

Ironclad copper core cookware.

This cookware was highly recommended to me by my daughter who works as a food scientist and has a chef certification. It is an incredible cookware set and I appreciate how evenly it cooks, thanks to the copper layer. The weight is substantial and the handles are long, so they are not hot to hold. The large pot is a perfect size for soups and cooking pasta. The entire set is beautiful and cleans up very well. I do not put it in the dishwasher, even though it states that it is safe to do so. I want to keep it in great condition. I did use Bar Keepers Friend on the small skillet after making scrambled eggs and the skillet cleaned great without scratching. I would probably use a nonstick pan for eggs in the future, but everything else that I have cooked with the kettles ... MoreThis cookware was highly recommended to me by my daughter who works as a food scientist and has a chef certification. I have never owned a good quality set of cookware, and I am enjoying this set immensely. The price is high, but watch for sales and discounts and you can save money on the purchase.

Love Them
11 December 2021

I love my Copper Core cookware. I have the entire set, except for two pieces. I am a formally trained pastry chef. I know my cookware and bakeware and this is what I think of these fry pans.I have all three of the All-Clad Copper Core non-stick skillets and absolutely love them. I have never had issues that you read about in other reviews of the non-stick coating on this page. My 12" is six years old, my 10" and 8" are a few years old. They have performed very well, with the lifespan as expected. A non-stick skillet usually lasts about four to six years before the non-stick is no longer non-stick. My 12" is just now needing to be replaced. Happily going to by a replacement.

Non-stick coating deteriorated after just 1 year
5 February 2020

Bought this pan as I have other All-Clad copper core pans and love them. Used to have a Calphalon Unison non-stick and it lasted 8 years. I thought I was upgrading here going with the All-Clad non-stick but have been seriously disappointed that the pan is essentially unusable after just 1 year of use. We used this pan maybe 2-3 times a week. We cared for it as the instructions said to. We never exposed it to high heat, never put it in the dishwasher, never scrubbed it clean with anything but warm water and a soft sponger with mild soap, never used metal utensils on it, always let it cool completely before washing. Didn't matter, the coating started to peel off and the non-stick surface is very soft. What's worse is that All-Clad won't stand behind their product. I contacted them about a replacement under warranty and was told that the deterioration of the non-stick coat is "normal" after one year of use. They also went on to say that the amount of deterioration would effect the overall performance of the pan if I continued to use it. They advised that I not use it. So 1 year of normal use and caring for it exactly how they advise is the "life" of this pan. I'm so put off by their quality of customer service that I wouldn't buy any of their products again in the future.

Look... this was a lot for me to spend on an 8" skillet. But it's an investment. This is a superb pan. Thanks to my investment, I'll have perfectly browned vegetables and single servings of proteins for the rest of my days. Yes, that includes eggs, if you know how to heat it. It heats unbelievably evenly and reacts to changes quickly when I need it to. This is, in every possible way, the finest 8" skillet I've ever held. And it's mine! Thanks to my willingness to spring for it just once, it's going to bring me joy and delicious food for the rest of my life. I implore you to ask yourself if this isn't a good deal when you consider the 30+ years of excellent experiences. In that way, it's the best deal out there. It's a pan, not a can of beans. Very poor non stick & customer service

We have been huge All Clad customers first with an extensive set of LTD cookware. When we decided to switch to Copper Core we gave the LTD to our daughter and now have an extensive Copper Core collection which we like very much. We have many other All Clad utensils and cooking appliances. We always clean them by hand and never use spray oils. The problem is with the Copper Core non-stick. We have 2 Copper core non stick fry pans and the non stick began to deteriorate. After following the All Clad directions to clean them, I decided to send them back as there is a lifetime warranty. To our dismay, they were returned to us stating that they would not be covered.
