This is a solid and sturdy unit with a sleek design that works perfectly to extend my surface pro and macbook pro to two displays. Even though I only need the USB-C connection, I like that it has the USB-A connection to deploy if required. It has all the connections I need for my set up and I like that it charges while connected. You just need to disconnect when not in use to avoid ruining the battery. I can leave the charger in my carry bag.Note that it is not an easy connect and go. You do need to download the drivers for your intended device or laptop in order to extend to the displays. Otherwise, I love it and highly recommend.

Bought it because my new laptop only has two USB-C ports - it does what is says it does - and doesn't have HDMI - so you also have to buy a video cable if you are connecting to a monitor - expensive but not many other options that met my needs.

We were using HP docking stations at work and the were crap, this ALOGIC dock blows them out of the water hands down, so much so we have purchased 3 units and will probably purchase more in the future. No more dropouts. Thanks ALOGIC & JB HIFI for the great delivery service .
This docking station really helped with the lack of ports on my current device and enabled me to connect a 4k screen along with a 1080p screen without any difficulties. I have been let down by other cheaper docks but this one just worked out of the box with very little effort.
Works as described apart from the Ethernet port. Attempting support directly with alogic - no reply as yet. Technically demanding to set up dual monitors.
works great and was easy to set up. runs both screens no probs, keyboard and mouse. headset plugs strait in too.Makes the setup from work to home a breeze. Just plug the cable to my work laptop and off we go.
Great device, and does what you need whihc is connect two displays top the a MAC, nevertheless you need display link which is fine as long as you want to use your screens for work. Netflix won't work on this configuration. i'm fine with that.
Uses a DisplayLink virtual graphics device - this is not a thunderbolt 3 device.The end result with two 4K screens is it is 'technically' possible, but with bad refresh rates and lossy compression artefacts clearly visible. For a 2019 HP Spectre, any display activity will consume large chunks of CPU and GPU resources.However, the rest of the dock works well, including the power delivery functionality.
I required a dual monitor setup for my home office space and use a selection of Google Chromebook devices including Lenovo Flex 5 Chromebook and Lenovo Duet Chromebook. I'm pleased to say this docking station works perfectly without the need to download any additional drivers. Power Delivery is also welcome for charging by Google Pixel 5 mobile device.
