Answr At-home Keratin Treatment 100ml

After paying £150 to have a smoothing treatment at a hairdressers, I was hopeful but dubious about this product. My hair is dry, and frizzes at the slightest hint of rain, damp, heat, even wind. It looks a mess so easily. When I finally decided to use Answr, after looking at it on my shelf for months. My only regret was not using it sooner. It works! I went out in the rain, did an exercise class, and went for a long walk in damp conditions and my hair did not frizz. It’s a fraction of the cost I used to pay and for me, it’s the best thing since sliced bread! Fabulous and I’m definately a life long customer now.

I have had professional treatments before and have always been reluctant to use a home kit, mainly because I am not too good at sectioning my hair for straightening. So happy though I decided to try this. Firstly, the smell of it is lovely and so much better than the chemical horrible smell of the salon ones. Secondly, very easy to use and I managed the straightening stage ok.The outcome, straight, glossy hair that so far has kept straight and frizz free, this is despite a steamy shower and bath.It did lighten my colour a little so I would recommend using it before you have your colour done, have visited my hairdresser today, who knows my hair very well and she was very impressed. I was trying to save money and find a more natural way to tame my frizz when I saw this! I read review after review and they were all glowing and fabulous - even from hair stylists who tried it on themselves. I figured I’d try it and have an open mind. OMG, I have never been so impressed with a product before. The results speak for themselves. My hair is super shiny, smooth, minimally frizzy and it looks like a salon keratin treatment. Also, it was SUPER easy to use. Love this product! It’s a must have item for my hair care maintenance routine, now.

Arrived today. I can't review how well the product works as I haven't used it yet, but wanted to point out that the delivery came within a few days of ordering which is good. However, I am disappointed that the product arrived only in a cardboard shipping box with no instructions. The only instructions are on the bottle are spray on, comb through, wait 40 mins, straighten, enjoy. From all the information on sites I have read about this product, the hair needs rinsing before straightening so this could have been a failure from the very start! It doesn't say what heat to use on straighteners etc either. I was really excited to try this product but now I am quite apprehensive.

I was really hopeful after reading the reviews… however it did very little to my hair apart from fading my hair dye…. I dyed my hair two weeks ago ans my hair was brown. Now after the treatment it’s ginger. I lowered the temperature as requested and unfortunately not notice quickly enough after testing how much it faded my colour. My hair feels very different to a salon keratin treatment. Is not as smooth and definitely, it didn’t take the freeze away as the salon treatment do. I’m very disappointed as it was pricey and now I have to spend another 100£ for a dye and even more for the keratin treatment. I will not repurchase.

I'm half portugese with thick dark curly hair which likes humidity, I'm not exaggerating when I say my hair goes like Monica's from friend when she's on holiday. I have a shoulder length hair with a determined curl and used to use harsh perming solutions to straighten my hair so was intrigued to try this. My first treatment was pre a summer holiday to prevent frizz and it worked! Yea it doesn’t stop your hair going curly but it reduces drying time use of straighteners and in damp weather my hair stays smooth and frizz free. It definitely stays straighter for longer. I can go longer between washed too. My first treatment lasted about 10 weeks before I did a second application. I would definitely recommend and my hair dresser was impressed with the condition of my hair at my recent visit

Cool product

Was skeptical about the claims of this product cos this is abit expensive for just one use but surprisingly worked quite well! I gave a few washes before leaving this review. I have over the chest length hair and use hair styling products on almost daily basis. But I need to say that I still uses my own hair conditioners after each washes. This makes my hair more silkier and smooth with almost no more fizz. I might repurchase this product again to keep my hair more alive! Hopefully it will survive up to 3 months!
