This really makes me look alive ! I don’t use foundation now , just a bit of concealer under my eyes . It really does even out your skin tone . I love that it’s vegan -and the very slight medicinal smell . I normally use Dr Hauschka Melissa cream which I also absolutely love but I think this is fantastic for bringing you to life a bit in the winter. I’ll continue to use both in future . Only cottoned on to this as I had a sample - first time a sample has led to a purchase !

I was keen to try this cream as I love other Antipodes products (like the avocado pear night cream). It has impressed me as much as the other Antipodes products that I love. The texture is wonderful - so light yet nourishing. It’s wetter than other creams that I’ve used, but absorbs very quickly and makes skin feel very fresh. The scent is wonderful, and I’ve definitely noticed that it minimises some of the blotches on my skin. Recommended!

Wow, what a delicious moisturiser this is! I've been using Baptise for a while now and really enjoy the cool gel texture of it esp on hot days. My first impression of this new mosituriser was how yum the mandarin scent is. The texture of this is a bit heavier than what I would usually use, a little goes a long way. Its feels really luxurious! I was a bit worried it would sit a bit heavy on my combination skin but it just melts in so nicely. Even in this ugly humid weather. No shine, nor greasiness at the end of the day either! My skin feels nicely hydrated. I think my skin texture is a bit more refined - pores look better.
I wanted to wait until I'd tried a whole jar of this before writing a review, and just finished the last of it today. I have moderate-severe melasma that darkens significantly in summer, even with very minimal sun exposure. The pigmentation has noticeably reduced in the 2 months I've used this cream, without any additional UV protection. To be fair, this is the first pigment-correcting product I've seriously committed to using regularly; mainly because the few other Vitamin C creams I've tried have a really tacky feel which makes my skin too sticky/greasy, and the smell is often too sweet/fruity - but I really like the scent and texture of this cream. It's still a little heavy for my skin when it's really hot and humid, so I've needed to take a break from using it ... MoreI wanted to wait until I'd tried a whole jar of this before writing a review, and just finished the last of it today. I have sensitivities to even some natural fragrances but I have no reaction to this lovely face cream, with daily use. The cream has a golden tint to it, and glides on smoothly. It is not shiny but settles to a natural finish within moments. The moisturising effect remains all day and seems to really retain maximum moisture if applied after face has been really soaked, as in after a shower for instance, just prior to moisturising. I have not used it long enough to describe the results on pigmentation, however there is sufficient scientific findings related on the packaging to expect these results over time. I originally got a little sample of both the Diem cream and the Glow serum; after using both I noticed a difference in my skin and I actually found my freckles to look a bit more unified across my face. I combine it with the Glow serum (which is great as a base if you do facial massage like gua sha) and the cream itself is just a lovely consistency. It's quickly absorbed, smells lovely and feels lovely to the touch. I usually use the Manuka day cream from Antipodes but Diem has been a lovely swap and it feels lighter (but I still go back to the Manuka one every few days since I still love that one too!). I had been wanting to introduce more Vitamin C based products to my skincare routine so I was glad Antipodes introduced this, and so far I've been really happy with it.
I have to admit I can be a cynical female at times when it comes to skincare claims [my apologies to you Antipodes] BUT - when my husband of 52 years asks me 'what have you been using on your face? it's different' ... well, what can I say other than a HUGE thank you to the Diem Vitamin C Cream....! The last few years of my professional life before taking my part time business as a Marriage Celebrant full-time - I was a Medical Sales Manager and this involved a lot of driving ! A lot! and my face suffered! pigmentation and blotches! After 10 days, just 10 - both N and I have seen my skin tone even out; and that dark blotch on my right side? has paled to the point I am nowhere as self conscious about it. Loving this Diem Cream ? Oh YES! After using this cream for a little over a week I can already see some of my acne scars and other imperfections fading much quicker than usual and my skin looks brighter. This cream has a light, soft consistency which I would almost describe as whipped. It feels incredibly smooth to apply and smells fantastic. I apply a generous amount to my face and neck both morning and night, focusing on the areas where I have pigmentation issues. I have noticed that sometimes I feel a tiny bit dry so I add some or my usual day cream or night cream a few minutes later once the peptide cream has dried. Have only just started using it so can't judge the effectiveness yet. My bottle wasn't quite full, maybe some evaporation. I'm not a fan of mandarin smell and that fragrance was quite strong. I think the fragrances irritated my skin a little. But the cream itself feels nice, covers well. Rich enough for a night creme if you have oily skin or are sun sensitive. Would recommend a patch test if you have allergies.
