The Apple iPad 4th Gen marks a significant step forward from its predecessor. With a crisp Retina display, visuals are sharper and more vibrant, offering an enhanced viewing experience for media consumption and web browsing. Its A6X chip ensures smoother multitasking and faster app launches, keeping pace with the demands of modern users. The 5MP iSight camera, while not groundbreaking, is competent for casual photography. The Lightning connector, introduced in this model, makes charging and syncing more efficient, though it rendered old accessories obsolete. While it's bulkier than newer models, its solid build quality is commendable. Apple is top of the line. Of all the tablets I have bought and tried; nothing even comes close to Apple. The easy user interface, the speed, and endless customization options are unbeatable. I have my name “engraved” into the back of my iPad, which was offered to me when I purchased which is a nice little touch that I enjoy. Battery life is fantastic, and the lightning charging is a HUGE help when you have a toddler who always forgets to turn it off. The camera is also top of the line and it has tons of storage so I never run into any problems keeping all of my photos and files. It’s the little details that make me appreciate apple so much. They are also always the first when it comes to trends. I am and will continue to be an Apple customer.... Show more

After years of talking about getting an Ipad, my prince charming bought me an ipad for christmas - what a surprise! I normally draw using an actually drawing pad for my desktop, but now I can draw anywhere! I'm not going to lie, i use this mostly to draw. Being an self-taught artist, I love being able to draw on the go and this really helps me do just that. The ipad is extremely lightweight with beautiful visuals. I can do everything I need on it, including blogging and drawing! I also love to browse the web and just the fact that the screen is a really great size, my eyes don't strain at all. I can't deny, apple has amazing products and this one is one of them! It runs really well though and the battery can last about 24 hours if not being used and maybe 6 hrs if ... Great for college— has a couple drawbacks
TLDR:Pros:-takes notes, paperless for college-keep textbooks on it via pdf-type up papers using logitech case-multiuse i.e. iMovie, Garageband, recreational, editing-Buying from BestBuy SAVED me (ipad broke, but it was within my year warranty with BestBuy and I got free replacement. Otherwise, i was screwed)cons:-it’s Apple lol(Con because apple is monopolizing everything and they make it impossible to get anything repaired. You HAVE to go to apple people for repairs and they will charge a ton. You go anywhere else and the device will know, and shut down, won’t work.)—Costs A lot— Breaks easy, and without warranty/apple care you would be screwed over $1kAlmost 2 years later, I still use it as my main college device. This semester was my first time ever in person and it’s still more than enough. I take notes on it and have my textbooks on it- which has saved me from having to have physical notebooks and textbooks with. 2 days of the week i am on campus from 9am - 6am. That’s 9 hours having to bring my backpack. If i didnt have my ipad, i’d have to carry multiple textbooks and notebooks. I did that in highschool and its backbreaking especially since I cannot drive and have to take the buses for over an hour to get to and from school. I am also able to type up my papers on it just fine with a logitech case. I can do everything for school on it + enjoy games and garageband. The main con is it is expensive, it’s easy to break, and it’s Apple lol. Weigh out what you need most in a device + your budget. Also remember, that you don’t need the new hot item in technology. There will always be a “new hot item” in technology. Go with what works best for you.... Show more

Great tablet upgrade coming from an older iPad
The Apple iPad Pro 12.9in is a perfect option for those that want to have an almost laptop replacement. I paired mine with a Logitech Combo Touch and have really enjoyed my experience so far. We all know that the iPad does by now, but I will say, my only gripe with this tablet is the battery life like most other reviewers is not ideal compared to what my old iPad Air 2 battery life use to get. 4-5 hours of on screen with some apps feels somewhat trivial when spending $1500 (512gb + cellular). The hope would be a software fix in the future to address this. If you are on the fence about 8gb vs 16gb of ram, I have had zero hiccups using the 8gb in my model.... Show more

Happy For About 8 Months
I’ve had many Apple products and several iPad Pros. The features are great BUT after only 8 months my 2021 Apple iPad Pro 12.9 is unable to be turned off. I tried numerous troubleshooting ideas and nothing worked. I usually have good luck with my Apple products. I contacted Verizon Wireless and they are sending me another one. That sounds great, but something that I don’t understand is I purchased (+$1,200) this iPad Pro BRAND NEW and I’m still making monthly payments for a brand new one yet my replacement is going to be a refurbished iPad Pro. I believe that since I’m still making payments on a brand new, then I should receive a brand new one. I was offered to use Asurion to get a new one, but I would have to pay $200.00. I’m already paying for a brand new one only to be told I’d need to spend more money to get a brand new replacement. Doesn’t seem right. Refurbished electronics always sell for less than brand new ones, so I think monthly payments should reflect now owning a refurbished item. I’m just a little disappointed.... Show more

Ignored the negative reviews, I’m quite happy.
Saw nothing but negative reviews on YouTube and the “enlightened” reviews mafia. Glad I ignored them. This is an amazing iPad. Yes, it’s not for people who just got last year’s model, but for those of us dipping a toe in today, it’s a fabulous piece of tech. I don’t want a MacBook. I don’t need/want a laptop. I want a quality tablet experience and content processor, and this does the job amicably. I’m a news hound, and this does magazines and news posts perfectly. In fact, I’ve noticed a lot of news sites set up their pages for all the crap ads on the sides and leave the main content alone with the larger tablet. It’s great for gaming, movies, and just about everything else I’ve thrown at it. For me, it’s been worth every penny.... Show more

iPad Pro comes at a premium price but well woth it
I never thought I would have use for an iPad since I have my iPhone and Laptop. Then my son showed me his iPad and what he can do with it and I am hooked. Now I am spending a lot of time on the iPad, much less on the laptop and my iPhone.I like to take notes when I am reading technical articles and watching presentations. I have piles of notebooks. I can replace all of those notebooks with OneNote on the iPad where I can hand write the notes using Apple Pencil, organize the notes with OneNote and store in the Cloud. Now instead of having dozens of notebooks I have one iPad that I can take everywhere.OneNote on the iPad allows you to write and its translates into text. I can store them on the iPad and/or in the cloud so they are available as long as I have the ipad with me. No more looking through physical files for and article I want to reread. The screen and image quality are amazing for watching TV and movies.I chose the iPad Pro 12.9" because of my heavy use as a notebook. I wanted to larger form factor. My son uses a smaller iPad and loves it.I had a small problem when I first got the iPad which was probably my fault. I reported the problem to Apple and they had a tech rep call me several times until he got me on the phone. He spent about a half hour explaining why I had the problem and answering other questions. The iPad Pro 12.9" is certainly not cheap. But you pay a premium price and get a premium product.... Really useful product
The iPad come with a lot of new features. As I buy this as a gift for my daughter who turns 8 year old. It's benefits her for her school work especially for art work. I got the app for her called procreate so she can be more creative with art work. She really enjoys all her creativity work. As she is learning new things in school and iPad with new feature fast speed help her to explore new learning ideas. The cool feature is the Apple Pencil which can be connected via Bluetooth. This helps her with her drawing and also professional if have to sign online documents or do any changes. The other nice thing is that you can use Apple key board with an iPad which don't make you feel that you have to use laptop. All in all 5 star for the product.... Show more

Some Basic Mistakes
Recently picked up the 12.9" iPad Pro (2022 / 6th Generation) and I have to say that I'm underwhelmed. It's blazingly fast and has a gorgeous screen but there are some basic frustrations.Cons:* Too heavy - 1.5lb is simply too heavy too comfortably hold in your hand for extended periods of time.* Vertical Camera Placement - Placing the camera on the vertical side is mind boggling. Especially for a tablet this big that may as well be a laptop replacement.* Apple Pencil Magnet Location - The Apple Pencil bizarrely charges on the right side and the right side only when looking at the tablet in portrait. This is the worst possible spot for the pencil to charge since if you're using this as a book replacement you generally want your hands on the sides. The Pencil ...
