First off, generally speaking I love my iPad. If you’re a professional artist who does my like to be attached to a desk or simply want to have a digital sketchbook, the iPad Pro is fantastic! Now, the things I don’t care about it have everything to do with Apple and the way they go about things… first, to get the iPad Pro I currently have I had to return it twice. Once because I didn’t like the smaller screen size and the second because the screen on my brand new iPad Pro was flickering and unresponsive. The first return was on me for sure but it took two weeks to get the replacement. The second time for the broken screen… let’s just say I’m glad I had recorded the malfunction in action on my phone because without it they would not have exchanged it for a functional ... MoreFirst off, generally speaking I love my iPad. This had everything to do with apple using my original purchase date for the return cutoff. There were other issues with the exchange for a working iPad Pro but this wall of text is too long already; so I will simply say that apples customer service isn’t as great as apple Stans will tell you and it has everything to do with apple and not with the employees who are just trying to do their jobs. Also, the iOS is nerfed so it’s more like a phone than a full “Pro” level piece of gear; just try to find the file you just saved! And if your workflow requires external interfaces be prepared to spend lots of money every time apple decides to no longer support the gear they supported and you bought six months ago. TL;DR: iPad Pro is a great price of tech there are some amazing apps. However, Apple smells their own farts and publishes it as a new iOS.

I bought this iPad for college and while it’s expensive, I’d say its versatility is worth every penny. I purchased the Magic Keyboard, the Apple Pencil, and an Apple branded Folio case along with it. I love to use the iPad for taking handwritten notes (do some research on good note taking apps and try out a few to find one you’d like). Procreate is another amazing app to download that gives you the ability to draw, edit photos, and so much more. I find that the folio case works best for those activities. The Magic Keyboard (with the trackpad) is great if you plan to download Microsoft Office and do a lot of typing or web browsing on it. I use both cases often and switch back and forth between them. I love everything about the iPad - the vivid screen quality, fast speed, large storage space, customizability, versatility, etc. My ONLY complaint is that I wish they would have put the front camera on the side. When doing things like FaceTime or Zoom meetings, you usually will have the iPad in landscape orientation, so the front camera (being at the top of the iPad) will be off to the side. When you are looking at everyone else on your screen, it will appear like you are looking off the side rather than straight ahead/at them.
This item is completely dysfunctional. Within the first 24 hours of having this item (not even a full day) the screen on this item was uncontrollably GLITCHY, clicking on things by itself on the screen - glitching back and forth, screen jumping from left to right, freezing, can’t tap anything, constantly having to click the lock button to reset the screen and most times that still didn’t work. Photos wouldn’t do justice to show what I am describing but all Apple users know and have experienced this at least once, I’m pretty sure with a damaged Apple device (from dropping, getting wet, internal damage). The outside is beautiful and a lovely iPad. But I’m 100% sure the inside of this item is been damaged somehow, and not repaired. I received this Geek Squad Certified Refurbished 12.9 inch iPad Pro and I’m beyond disappointed. It arrived in a flimsy cardboard box wrapped in bubble wrap along with an Insignia usb C wall charger and charging cable. I wasn’t expecting an iPad box after reading other customer reviews so that didnt bother me. Upon taking the iPad out if the bubble wrap, it looked like they grabbed the first trade-in that they had within arms reach. It had what im guessing was the previous owners hair on the screena and lodged into a few spots on the case; and while addressing the case it has multiple small dents and scratches and the back of it has a piece of a sticker and what looks like streaks from a hasty wipe down. Not to mention and big gash on the corner where the power ... MoreI received this Geek Squad Certified Refurbished 12.9 inch iPad Pro and I’m beyond disappointed. Not to mention and big gash on the corner where the power button is. It looks like it took a nasty drop on the concrete. I was so disappointed with the appearance of the product that I didn’t bother to turn it on because I knew that it would be going back to the store ASAP. I knew that this iPad wouldnt be in immaculate condition but this is ridiculous. I took pictures to represent the bulk of my complaints but I can say that this is not what I was expecting and is definitely my first and last time buying anything refurbished from BestBuy.
I was initially a bit hesitant to purchase a refurbished device, but I have to say, this iPad Pro from Best Buy has completely exceeded my expectations. First off, it arrived in what I can only describe as “excellent” condition—honestly, it looks and feels brand new. There were no visible scratches, dents, or scuffs; you wouldn’t know it’s refurbished if you weren’t told. The screen is absolutely stunning. The colors are vibrant, the resolution is razor-sharp, and the display makes everything feel incredibly smooth and responsive. It’s awesome for streaming, browsing, or just scrolling through social media. And the battery life? Fantastic. It holds a charge incredibly well, and I haven’t noticed any decline in battery performance so far.Overall, I’m stoked with my purchase. For anyone on the fence about getting a refurbished iPad, I’d say go for it. This one from Best Buy truly feels like a new device, at a fraction of the price. Couldn’t be happier.
Geek Certified Refurbished means "used".The upper right of the screen had abraisions and scratches, quite a bit. They did not show when the screen was on - if you didn't look for them, but still could be seen. (My feeling is the previous owner placed papers with a staple in their cover/case against the screen.) The device was not the correct color or model number as advertised and on the box. The box had a label on the side that said the advertised model MXT3LL/A, a "Silver" iPad Pro 4th Gen 12.9", 256GB, but the device was marked, and a sticker on the bottom of the box had the model MXR3LL/A, the "Space Gray" model. Finally, the iPad Pro has a USB-C port. But they included a USB-C charger, and a USB-C to Lightning cable. This wasn't going to work! This was the second unit of the same I bought. The first unit has someone still paying the Apple Care+ monthly amount, so Apple Support told me I could have issues with the advertised 90 day support, as advertised. That unit also had some scratches in the upper right on the screen, but not noticeable once on. I decided to go with the original one I bought and take a chance - this device was almost 1/3 off. I recommend the item, but check it before you leave the store and expect there to be some issues. The iPad Pro, itself is amazing overall. Just need a little more quality assurance to be labeled "Geek Certified".
