Unfortunately I have had a bad experience with this product. The item itself after purchasing this for a Christmas Gift started to peel.I’m finding myself having to re-purchase a new one after spending so much money on the first.I cannot return this product for it’s passed the time date for a return .I am so disappointed and embarrassed. The quality is poor but the the functionality is perfect.Keyboard works amazing just not so happy with the manufacture.

For $250??? Cheap, flimsy, and NOT BACKLIT! I like being able to see my keys while I type. I also agree with the other reviewer that mentions how you can not use while sitting at the couch easily, the kick stand makes the entire keyboard/device too long. So, you almost NEED to set up at a table. To give you an idea. It is just a tad sturdier than Apples basic table folio cover.I could go on Amazon and purchase a keyboard for under $50. The reason I did not was because I would have to charge it separately. So, I figured, APPLE would have their collective ‘design’ together.Going from the Magic floating keyboard to this is the biggest letdown.I will be returning and looking at Logitech for a better quality keyboard.

Apple products are always very well designed and durable. It wont fail, the typing is smooth and responsive, the quality build is VERY good. Although this product doesnt have backlight for the keys, the buttons are very responsive and the additional function keys (like volume up/down, mute, play/stop, brightness, etc.) are very handy. Recommended product.

While it's a little expensive, this is the sleekest looking and functioning keyboard case available for the iPad 10. I wish I was available in more colors as I was worried about it becoming discolored and dirty, but so far that hasn't happened. I like that the keyboard is detachable when holding the iPad or just propping up to watch videos using the stand only. The keyboard feels very good, easy to type on despite the size, and the full function row is appreciated.
We were using these as our official corporate solution. They work great! Quality is awesome, the keyboard is awesome and the viewing angles and setup sets it apart. No charging or battery to deal with. Etc.There is a but though and it is a big one. If you drop your iPad there is zero edge protection. We have quit using them for this reason. It isn't like they are dropped all the time but when they do it is the least opportune times and results in absolutely shattered screens and even bent frames. It's amazing how much damage a user can do.I am not saying there are "better" solutions because every one we have tried has its drawbacks. If you are okay dropping a thousand dollar tablet and having to fix it because the "case" doesn't have edge protection it is the way ... MoreWe were using these as our official corporate solution. (Note: Apple authorized repair centers wouldn't touch our damaged iPads. We had to go to people using aftermarket parts.)
The typing experience is awesome. The keys feel excellent with just the right amount of travel. I love the fact the keyboard separates from the iPad to be flipped around when using the iPad in portrait mode. It is also removable for using in Portrait mode, or media consumption while in land scape mode. It fits the iPad very well without adding a ton of weight. The keyboard has a row of function keys, a feature not found on the even more expensive Magic Keyboard. The downsides of the keyboard is it’s a bit wiggly when using as a case. Another downside is the lack of backlighting. For the price of this keyboard the keys should have backlighting.Keep in mind this keyboard only works with the IPad 10, but given the typing experience it will be a great accessory for a ... MoreThe typing experience is awesome. I’m giving it 5 stars because while it’s expensive, the typing experience is better that the even more expensive Magic Keyboard, and again, even the Magic Keyboard doesn’t come with a row of function keys at the time of this review.
I should have done more research before buying. I bought it as part of purchasing the latest generation iPad. It’s okay that part of it separates so that i can use the iPad with the stand but not the keyboard, but it separates too easily, and without warning, and if you don’t reattach correctly, you can’t use the keyboard. I also don’t like that it doesn’t have a charging port. It also has too many keys, and for functions i don’t use (rewind/pause/fast forward, lock the iPad). I’m not recommending this item because while i don’t like it, someone else might.
Honestly, I do not like this key board for my iPad. I have never owned an iPad before but for this design I do t like it. The reason is I have to be sitting at a table to use it. I am better off just using my case and typing from the screen. The thing has magnets and it falls apart. If I drop my iPad and it breaks I will be very upset. I can not lay in bed and use it.the magnet always disconnects. I don’t like it. Especially for the money. I do not recommend this item.
I brought both the iPad 10th gen in pink and the Magic Keyboard folio ready for my degree starting in September and I absolutely love it! It’s lightweight and tracks perfectly across my iPad. Definately recommend looking further into settings once connected as you can personalise your keyboard experience. Also love the way it can easily fold into a case for protected travel
I have used an iPad for a number of years and I also own an older laptop. The decision was whether to purchase a small Apple Macbook or go for a new iPad with a keyboard that could easily be attached, hence the best of both worlds. I love this combination and find it easier when I want to write something more significant I can just sit and use it like a laptop. The keyboard is magnetised to the iPad and securely attaches itself when you bring the two together. It also forms part of the cover which has a stand on the back of the screen. I am delighted i went for this option.
