Love the water filter, easy to set up, 100% better than tap water, doesn’t take long to chill - can’t live without it now !!

Slow water outlets, and overpriced. Digital display has stopped working in less than 12 months. I have tried to replace the battery but can’t get to it.

This cooler is a replacement for the Aquaport TTX model which we used continuously for 11 years with little problems though I had to replace the fan twice. As I have a .5 micron filter on our cold water outlet in the kitchen I have never used any of the Aquaport filters. This new model is a nuisance as it can't be used without the filter bowl in place as the lid will not fit. The outlet taps are a mish-mash, I would have preferred hand operated taps though they don't drip which is a plus. Having to remove the lid to fill the reservoir is also a nuisance as a flip up section or cap would be much better. As for its performance, it does cool water but hasn't yet reached the 8 degrees C that the old unit regularly did, 12 degrees C is the lowest so far and as the ... MoreThis cooler is a replacement for the Aquaport TTX model which we used continuously for 11 years with little problems though I had to replace the fan twice. In the long run I will be happy if it lasts as long as the TTX model

Pros: We love the convenience of a portable filter that works independent of a faucet connection. The water cooler and ambient taps are very neat and commercial looking. And the water tastes great once it gets going.Cons: There are no bad points with this but you will need a little patience to prepare the unit and ensure it is clean and hygienic to start filling with tap water.
Had it for only 6 months, the other reviews are right. Takes a while to fill a cup and very loud while doing so.Mine actually broke when trying to move house's, the inside filters top broke off in the chamber breaking both the filter and chamber was asked for $110 to replace the parts ( half the cost ).Wont be buying any aquaport products in future for sure
Bought this product October last year and since then have had to replace 3 times. I’m on my fourth and have to return again as motor is extremely noisey.
Brought this about 2 weeks ago and it’s possibly the worst water filter I’ve even had. Water doesn’t even come out cold and the taste is very bad aswell.
This was a replacement for an older version of the same machine. The new one looks almost the same but there have been significant improvements. The cooler is now regulated - the old one would literally freeze up. The latest model is also much quieter in operation. All in all a very good machine that is simple to use and provides nice clean water.
This is a terrible water cooler, unfortunately it is literally the only brand available on the market now since Sunbeam/Brita stopped making their superior (albeit flimsy and short-lived) product, so I guess I'm going to have to go back to bottles of water in the fridge. The main problem is that the water tastes terrible; even after following the convoluted cleansing-with-bicarb-overnight instructions to the letter, it tastes extremely plasticky and is basically undrinkable. On top of this the unit is ridiculously noisy - the fan is so loud that I keep just turning the thing off if I want to e.g. listen to music while in the kitchen/living area. I would send it back if I could be bothered, but instead I think I'll take it to my workplace and see if anyone wants it.
Worked great to start with. Then water wasn’t very cold then cold side stopped working now leaks from under bottom.
